We have stayed there three times and have absolutely loved it each time. Can't wait to stay there in Sept with the refurbished rooms.

Don't get me wrong, we like and enjoyed the Poly.....not anymore, overpriced and mover hyped... There are cheaper and better resorts out there...nothing is worth that kind of money !

It's all about the location. The standard rooms at the Poly are cheaper than the standard rooms at GF, I believe they are also cheaper than the standard rooms at CR. Although the standard rooms at the CR look like a typical motel...if I stayed there it would have to be in the tower which is more expensive than the standard Poly rooms. The standard Poly rooms offer lush tropical gardens.

Have stayed there 5 times. 3 regular and 2 CL. Would definitely stay again.

Poly is our fave WDW resort for sure.. We had some really bad CM problems in 2011 but we are returning this yr in the hopes it was a fluke..

Believe it or not, since my first trip to WDW in 1977 I have never stayed anywhere BUT the Poly! Yes, I love it THAT much! I dont know what I am going to do when my youngest turns 3 and we outgrow the Poly. I guess we will just have to win the lottery and start booking a big suite! :rotfl

We love visiting the hotel and walking around - we also love their restaurants, but have never stayed there. They have no standard rooms with king beds, which is just infuriating!

Well it has it's place in my heart since it was my very first Disney hotel. But I haven't stayed there since I was six so I don't remember too much.

Ok, I was thinking they were but the rooms are in the small building off the main tower. I would much rather pay a little more and have a standard room at the Poly!!

I thought I would love it, but was underwhelmed. Funny thing, I thought I wouldn't be very impressed w/ the GF - and I absolutely loved it.
