Well i have now 4 cats and one dog.I just lost one animal a few days ago. It was my hamster,He was four and a half years old. So he lived a long time and had a good life. To me it is very hard to let go of animals. But i am just happy that i have all the other animals.

I'm sorry about the hamster I have been through so many of them in my lifetime I lose track. Most only lived a couple of days or weeks at the longest, but my first was Charlie who lived (I think) about 2-3 years. He was huge and so cute! Empare, you remember Sam and Charlie (and when Sam bit me and I flung him across the room by accident?!)
Charlie's full name was Chardles (yes, Chardles not Charles) Pudderlie. I was young

I lost my hamster on Christmas a year ago. I love that hamster. He died in his sleep. It really was not MY hamster, it was my best friends. She could not keep him and said I had to take him or they would have to let him go. My parents let me keep him and he died last year.Poor baby!!

i had a hamster named luke and he lived for two years and we didnt know that hamsters could live for more than two years..thats just weird!I laso had two dwarf hamsters named tina and timmy.they were a couple and they recently passed away.. i am happy that i have more pets now though

OMG Yes I remember that! I remember when you brought Sam over to my house and he crawled up my pant leg when I was playing with him. He sandwiched himself behind my knee so I couldn't stand up to get him out. I was afraid I would squish him. I finally conviced him to come out with some food.

LOL I do not remember that at all...must have been just Nicki (Sam was hers) or my forgetful mind. Boy did we have fun with our rodents....Judy under the dresser....

Oh no you didn't bring up Judy! Ladies and Gents, Judy was a sweet and loving guinea pig (or piggie if you prefer) that I had for 4 years as a child. Piggies make great pets! My parents would not let me get a dog of my own until I proved to be responsible so, they gave me Judy. I miss my little piggie!
