My name is Simba and I am that famous lion cub from The Lion King. I have been to WDW 9 times in my short life. My last trip was in December and it was an adventure, then again all my trips are that way. I wrote this a long time ago but didn't get to post it as I have been traveling about again. . .
I began my trip going through the security check point at the airport. Do you know how it feels to have people comment on your mode of transportation? I ride in a backpack everywhere so I can see everything. What's wrong with that?
I spent 6 nights at WDW on this last trip staying at OKW. My shortest stay on property but I'll let that one slide as I expect to stay longer next time. I arrived first thing in the morning and ran into some old friends who I met at the DVC Hilton Head Island Resort. They were leaving to go home as I was getting off the Mears shuttle. . . They told me that it was cold while they were there but I was nice and warm my entire trip!!
I rode the bus over to MK to pick up my MVMCP tickets and met up with my best friend The Cheshire Cat--he works over on the Keel Boats and sometimes even on BTM!! He always lets me help drive the boats but I am stuck under the safety bar on BTM. I hate that, I cannot see anything.
One of the first things I had to do once getting into MK was to buy my traveler's cheques at AAA on Main Street. The guy there remembered me from earlier that year--my first trip down memory lane. . . I told him about my last trip and how I couldn't wait to get there this time. He even posed for a picture with me!!
I had PS for Crystal Palace that night before MVMCP so I had some time to prowl around MK. I met up with all my friends in time to eat and then we had to wait for a long time until they let us go into the park. I really liked the fireworks and the parade. I took lots of pictures and some taken with me in them too!!
I made my party take me over to AK to meet up with some relatives so I could catch up on the family. We did the Safari first thing in the morning and I was so happy to be back in the wild. I saw my relatives towards the end of the trip. It was sad knowing I didn't have much time to tell them about my latest adventures though. . .
I did get to the Hoop De Do review and that was fun. I sat in the middle of the stage up front and watched the entire show. I even had my picture taken with my friends!!
The CP was wonderful. I ate in Canada and had my picture taken with Cheshire and our desserts. It was too much food for us. We liked ToN and I sat through it 4 times on this trip.
I spent a lot of time at EPCOT this trip as I like to wander around the different countries. I had my first Beaver Tail in Canada and posed with a CM there as I was pouncing on the snack.
I took my friends over to MGM and I got my picture taken with Rafiki and Timon. They remembered me of course and posed for a beautiful picture. I didn't know what to make of Mushu and the White Witch though. I did meet many characters and had my picture taken with all the ones I did meet. My autograph book is getting filled up now.
I went to at least 2 parks a day and rode all the transporation devices in one day. I like to do that sometimes. I even got to ride up front in the Monorail on my way to GF. I had to go scope out the decorations in all the hotels this year. I liked WL the best but I liked the Gingerpeople cookies at GF.
I was sad when this trip ended. I had to take down all the decorations in my room and work so hard to pack up my luggage. I barely fit in my backpack because of all those mugs. . . Next time they get the boot and I get a first class ticket in MY OWN seat. . .
Until my next trip. . .
