Who knows this cookie?

I am trying to find a recipe and having great difficulty. I did already post on the recipe board, but thought that since there is more traffic here someone here might know and be able to help me.

Now my problem is..I don't know how to correctly spell the cookie I am trying to find the info for..so google is not helping. It is the cookies with licorice (anise) flavouring. I am spelling it GENETIES, but google asks me if I mean genetics

Ingredients:
2 pkgs. Stella Doro Anginetti Cookies, sliced in half
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. cool whip
3 T. powdered sugar
20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 small box instant vanilla pudding


Directions:
CUT cookies in half horizontally; set aside.

BEAT whipped topping and cream cheese in small bowl with electric mixer at medium speed 1 minute or until blended. Gently stir in pineapple and pudding.

SPOON 1 Tbsp. pineapple mixture onto bottom half of each cookie; cover with top half of cookie.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
