~!Who knew you could relax in Disney?~Mother/Daughter Tr~5/2 May Trip Plans Days 5-8

T-Rex is alot of fun and a staple on our Downtown Disney Day.
The food is better than expected and the decor is unique.
But it does get a bit loud in there and it's not on the Dining Plan.

Nice pics of the Land - we love that ride to just sit back and relax on.
I think I might even take the kids to Garden Grill next trip to experience it "from above!"

As for the future trip, please make sure to drop by the DIS as some of us don't do facebook...

I was very surprised by how good the food was!

You should definitely go to Garden Grill! I have heard great things about it and have always wanted to go but my mom gets motion sickness

We will be doing a TR but not a PTR or live updates on the DIS while we are there so we will be back to talk about it

Yeah, I haven't been to the Garden Grill since '94 so I thought it would be fun.

I loved TREX on our last trip-- I found the food surprisingly tasty, with not too bad prices!
Sounds like you guys had a nice afternoon/evening!!

Ugh! I totally know what you mean about people changing their children in public! I had never seen this until our last visit about a week ago. A lady was changing her child in the grass right by the butterfly house that is set up for the flower and garden festival. I was absolutely appalled and disgusted. Not to mention, who really wants the public seeing their child in that manner?? Call me over protective but you never know what kind of perverts are lurking around!

Ewwwww to the poopy diaper. I guess I can understand a quick change for a wet diaper in a leak emergency, but not a poopy one. And even for the wet one, if you really don't want to go into the bathroom (because they can be crowded and awkward with that changing table), then find yourself a place way out of the line of people and be as discreet as possible. And for crying out loud, put the diaper in the restroom trash can. I can honestly say I have never stumbled across a diaper change in progress, but I wouldn't be too keen on it.

So - you are all becoming resort snobs????? Did you think it would ever happen? I find that I am fine with all the Disney resorts, but I really hesitate to go to regular motels/hotels. I am fearful I am going to hate them all.

I hope you really like SSR. I miss it!

I would like to try T Rex. It looks fun. You'll be able to go right across the water and get your dad another one of those yummy looking drinks.

My mom might not be one but my dad and I are I just refuse to stay at a place that doesn't have a gym if we are going for a long time and I really got used to being able to walk to a park

I am really looking forward to SSR!

It was a fun time and it wasn't loud the entire time just during the meteor shower which happened about every 10-15 minutes.

I wish we could have but I didn't realize how long it will take us to do this TR I sent you a request!

Time to catch up! First, I have to say, in almost 5 months we will be seeing each otherok I'm good now!!

Great updates!! The pictures from that day are great...love the Living with the Land pics!! Jasmine and I loved T-Rex...and it was so funny, because when I called for an ADR they said there was nothing. I said to her on one of our DTD afternoon days that we should just walk up and see....there was no one there!!! We walked right in..it was great!!! We definitely know going forward though that we can split a meal and still be full.

Did either of you take advantage of the D & B sale????

Those are great pictures of the "Living with the Land". What type of camera are you using? I love that area of Epcot. Wished I worked there.

I really wanna try T-Rex... it looks yummy I think the ice age room would be awesome to sit in. And those nachos look DELICIOUS.. although they look like they type of appetizer I would get and then feel very guilty about eating afterwords But thanks for the pictures!
