Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Lisa I just wanted you to know you have a twin. If you were so far away I would have swore you were at my court house friday. The lady I saw could have been your twin sister. So I guess you have a twin that hangs out at the court house in York SC.

Yes that is exactly how th Eagles were when we were there. Did you see an inside rollar coaster at all? It was kind of like rock n rollar coaster with a really fast take off. It's actually the first one like that I ever rode.

We saw some roller coasters but none of them were running. I don't know what the deal was?

Great Updates. I love seeing the pics of the Eagles, they are one of my favorite birds.

I can't believe how pushy that lady selling the glass birds was towards mama. Ugh some people.

I didn't care for the pushy lady at all. My Mama may be 76 but she can certainly make up her own mind.

Wanted to say hi and invite you over to my PTR. I do hope you will make it over!

Hey there! I've already joined. I just have to catch up with my reading.

Wow, I was gone for a week and so much happened!! First of all, congratulations to Lacey and Jessie. And how wonderful for you to have your girl close a little while longer. Planning the wedding together will be so much fun. I just got back from my niece's wedding in Denver, and it was so sweet!

Second, I have stayed at most of the values, as well as Coronado Springs, and I LOVE Pop. It is my favorite by far. We stayed in the 70's, and it was a great location. It is a quick walk to the main building, the bus stops, and the main pool. The bus service from Pop was quite good - much better than the All Stars. I even thought it was better than CS, because it took a long time to circle the resort, and by that time the Pop bus would be well on its way to a park. I don't think you will regret it at all - after all, the parks are the main event, and you don't end up spending much time in the room after all. You can rent a mini-fridge for the room, but if you are on the dining plan you really don't need one. Go to the Pop pages on the resort section, and/or look at the pics on my old TR, and you should be happier.

Finally, I have been enjoying the mini-TR on the trip to Georgia and Dollywood. The first time I went to WDW I made an observation which has always held true. There is so much attention to detail, cleanliness, etc. at WDW that even though it is expensive, you always feel you get your money's worth. That isn't always true at other parks, so you really can't compare them to Disney World!

Oh, and I forgot to say Happy Anniversary!! Hope y'all get to take a little nostalgic trip to Arkansas!

Thanks! We are extremely happy to have Lacey home even if we know it's not for too terribly long. Wedding planning is coming along well.

I agree with you....Disney makes sure that you are totally immersed in the park and you feel as if you are a million miles awy from the "real world" whereas other parks just don't seem to do that. Oh well, we had a lot of fun at Dollywood even if it wasn't Disney.

Hi Lisa,
Yeah, finally caught up!
First of all - Congratulations to Lacey for graduating from Ministry college - :)

Happy Anniversary to you and John! :)

How wonderful that Lacey will be at home for awhile...planning a wedding is so exciting..you and Lacey will be busy, but you will have a blast! I like the beach theme.. :bride:

Love your mini-trip reports to other locations....Ever since I saw a special about Dollywood on the travel channel I wanted to check it out....it seems neat, but like you said, you cannot help but compare it to Disney....

Thank you for the congrats to Lacey and to John and I! It's been so nice having Lacey home. We've been giving her lots of time to just "chill". When in the Mission, you are constantly on the go and she said it's nice to sit and relax. She's supposed to go see Jesse next week for a few days for his birthday. Once she gets home, it's job hunting time.

Dollywood was nice. Would I go there again? Probably not.

Hey Lisa! I've been behind, but I didn't realize how much until I had to keep clicking back and back and back pages. Then I was wondering how I got 10 pages behind, until I read the 'good news' posts! So:

Congratulations

to your family on Lacey's engagement and home-moving!

We stayed at Pop back in '04 and it was not bad at all. The rooms are smaller and the resort has a different feel to it, but it's still Disney and it's still on property! :thumbsup2 Hunter will probably really like all the huge sculptures around the place, too. I don't know if you're still considering All Star Music or not...we haven't stayed there, but we have stayed at All Star Movies twice. Again, the same as with Pop, but there are big statues of fun things, characters, etc. all over the grounds, which are fun and good for pictures!

I'm enjoying your mini-TR. We went to Dollywood & Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg several years ago for our anniversary....maybe in '04? I remember the tornoado-themed rollercoaster...but not a lot else. I think they've added a lot to the place since we went. BUT, we should be going back there next year for a family reunion, so it's nice to get a feel for what's there. I do hope your Mama did the zip line because I'd love to hear about it! I would love to do it, too! We just went to Branson with my BIL & family and they had one up at the Inspiration Tower and another we saw on the way to Lambert's & Springfield that we talked about doing, but never stopped to do. I'm thinking if we're at Dollywood & a zip line is in the park that I'll be more likely to get to do it!

And that Dizzy Disk reminds me of the ElectroSpin at Silver Dollar City. My brave kiddos rode that for the 1st time this summer, but not me! First rides they've really ever done on their own...:sad1:...besides the kiddie roller coaster, that is! Anyway.....I'll try to keep up better now....and I'm sure I wanted to comment on something that I've forgotten.....

......like you anniversary!

I hope you guys get to come up my way & enjoy yourselves this weekend!

.......and your blog.....Wedding themed or not....I would read! :goodvibes

We were just talking about Branson a few days ago. We went at Thanksgiving last year and had a good time. It was the first trip Mama made after she had her emergency surgery.

We didn't end up going to Arkansas this past weekend. We wanted to stay in the lodge at Petit Jean and by the time we made up our mind, it was booked up.

The pictures of the eagles are so pretty! And an ice cream right about now certainly sounds good. It's hot as fire outside right now! Heat index is right at 100 degrees. :faint:

Hmmm...how did Hunter get soaked to the bone? My guess is the River Battle. Now that is one ride where you literally get soaked to the bone!

We loved the eagles. We stood there and watched them for a long time. And, yes, I would love me some ice cream about now too. It's been over 100 the last few days.

I'll be posting how Hunter got soaked in just a little while.

Love the Dollywood update :thumbsup2. I think you should get the picture of John, showing his belly, blown up to sofa size and have it framed.........LOL.

Hum....wonder how much that would cost?

Dollywood is the first place my wife applied to work at when her family moved to Gatlinburg in the late 80's. She got an interview but never was called back, in hindsight she is glad they didn't call. She ended up working at the Boot Shop in Pigeon Forge and sold boots and hats to some of the the Country Singers that played at Dollywood, including a few big Stars. We have been back once since we married and are talking about going next year. Your TR is helping make our dicision. You will like POP its our favorite place to stay this year will be 5 out of the last 6 years to stay there.

Oooh that's a cool story. I bet that was a neat job. I think you should go back to Dollywood if it's been a long time since you've visited. I probably wouldn't go back any time soon but maybe a few years down the road.

I'm loving the Dollywood report, but I don't think I'll be headed that way anytime soon. I can't imagine anyone buying toe jam jelly! Not in the least bit appealing in any way.

It's definitely Friday the 13th. One of my son in law's receptionists is out today and I was going to go fill in and catch up on his book keeping for him today. He called me at 7:30 to tell me that all his servers were down and it would be this afternoon before they will be back up! Friday the 13th strikes first thing today! He can't see any patients because all the charts are all in the computer, as well as some things he needs for his exams. I offered to come in to call and reschedule appointments but he said the other receptionist can do it, so I get to relax and have more Disney time.

Terri

Friday the 13th wasn't too terribly bad around our house. So did your son in law get his computers back up and running?

Great updates!! I love the photos. That spinning ride looks like they should rename it Vomit Comet! :lmao:

I think I would have been okay with the spinning but I knew I couldn't deal with it when it go to the high part.

The name of the train at Dollywood is Cinder-ella. Nice Disney tie in, huh? We were in Dollywood several weeks ago. Dollywood doesn't compare to Disneyworld, but for those people who can't make it down to Florida it is a nice park.

Yea....that's it! I couldn't remember what they said! We really enjoyed Dollywood and would, for sure, recommend it to anyone who was in the area.

Cool attraction that John and Hunter are doing. I don't think that one is for me, either, Lisa. Much to high and narrow! :scared1:

There was no way I was getting way up there on itty bitty walkways.

CONGRATS on all the good news1

Pop is great, we have stayed there twice and if you want to join a fridge, coffeepot & toaster swap at POP, i organize one there. Let me know.

Oops, I missed this post and now it's too late. We've ended up booking the CBR with the free dining!

Wow! There's no way I would have paid another $49 per person to do the zip line. :sad2:

I thought that was a bit much to pay in addition to our park admission.

Tanisha and I went wedding dress shopping today ... yes, on Friday the 13th. But she found THE dress on the very first try. She tried on about three or four others just to make sure, but she chose the first one. If you want to see pics, I have them on my facebook page.

Can't wait to hear about yours and Lacey's dress shopping.

Oh I am so happy to hear that she found THE dress! I wanna see. Can you p.m. me your Facebook link, pretty please!

Nope...not me. I'm not afraid of heights, but I'm not climbing that...nope, nope, nope. Another $49 for the zip? That is crazy.

I thought about going on the course but the sane part of my mind told me I'd freak out!

We didn't end up going to Arkansas this past weekend. We wanted to stay in the lodge at Petit Jean and by the time we made up our mind, it was booked up.

We stayed at Petit Jean at the beginning of summer. So beautiful but Lord was it hot! We thought to ourselves that we can hike around "The World" we can certainly hike down the mountain and to the waterfall and back.:rotfl:
99* on the day we went down to the falls, 110% humidity, backpack with 4Gatorades and 5 bottles of water. We about drank it all halfway back from the falls and my husband and I got the privilage of carrying our 4 year old on our back because the little guy was hot and tired. I felt like a pack mule climbing up those big rock paths with a kid hanging on my back:laughing:. Even through all that it was still so pretty! If you go you gotta get one of the stone cabins. We would love to go again in the fall.

Okay off to do laundry:laundy:

You posted all your good news right after my post. Hurray for Lacey moving back home! Hurray for getting engaged! Yay for her wanting to honeymoon in iIsney and possibly going back with you!!
Love the Dollywood updates!

That's a lot of hurrays! Believe me, I've said a bunch of 'em too!

I'm with you Kathy. I am deathly afraid of heights. :scared1::eek:

Me tooooooo!

STINK! I thought Mama would do the zipline! I love the ropes course pictures- but I can't do those things!

I thought she would have too but that was a good bit of money to pay just to do a zipline over a theme park.

That looks neat, but I doubt i could do it either. My body and gravity are no longer friends.

That's too funny!

There's no way I could do that. I got dizzy just looking at your pictures!

Terri

I know!

That looked great fun! Can't believe that they would charge an extra $49 per person to do a zip line! Surely they are joking??? Why would anyone pay that amount of money to do that? They must be needing extra money to try to bleed their customers dry like that. A little extra maybe but that is over the top!

Can't wait to see more though! x

All I could think of was "and people think Disney is expensive". I would love to have done the zipline but I wasn't about to pay another $200.00 over what we had already paid to get in.

Enjoying your Dollywood pictures, Lisa! I haven't been there in almost 10 years, but I remember the eagles. They're magnificent creatures.

Aren't the eagles amazing! I don't know why we were so enthused over them.

Lisa, I miss a couple of weeks and look at all that's happening!

That is great news about Lacey and Jesse, they are such a wise young couple! This will be really nice for you and John to have that last bit of time with her being at home. Do they know what resort they'll stay at on their honeymoon?

As for your Pop thing, I think you made a great choice. We love Pop, have stayed there four times and doing our fifth stay for one night next month before moving over to CBR. I think the new rooms look great, we don't actually find the bedroom part of the room to be that much smaller than a mod and the bathroom works fine if you bring an over the door shoe hanger for all your "stuff". No nice big double sink area like CBR! I have gotten all four of us in a Pop room for ten nights and done just fine. Its my favorite value (have stayed at all of them) with Music being a very close second. It has an awesome food court too!

Love the Dollywood updates, that is the only theme park besides Disney I really want to visit!

Can't wait to read about all the wedding plans. Have they set a date? I may have missed that somehow.

Well, now I'm the one that's behind. We've just changed back over to the CBR. I was able to book with free dining and it saved us a huge chunk of change!

Lacey and Jesse are thinking about mid-August, 2011. Not completely certain of a date yet though.

Hi Lisa! I'm enjoying your Dollywood trip report! I can't believe it was that much more for the zipline!! I wouldn't have paid it either! Funny thing...the other night I was in bed flipping through the channels & came across David Letterman, Dolly was on there and she was talking about Dollywood's 25th year!!! :rotfl: I was cracking up!! So weird, reading about Dollywood on here and then seeing her on TV talking all about it! Too funny! Anyway. Hope you have fun dress shopping with Lacie! It's so much fun!!! However, once she does find "the one" I advise her to stop looking! LOL! I had found my dress & then hadn't looked again for awhile....then as my wedding day was approaching....I started looking at them again!!! Bad idea!!! Don't get me wrong...I loved my dress! But it's just not a good idea to look once you have definitely found that one!!!!! Good Luck!!!! Oh, and take lots of pictures in all the dresses she does try on!

I saw a special on Dollywood the other day too!

We haven't officially been dress shopping yet. She's looking around websites and books and thinks she has narrowed it down quite a bit. She's definitely not a fru-fru, fancy smancy kind of girl so I'm sure it will be a simple dress.

Glad you have included your trip to Dollywood. It has been atleast 10 years since I have been. Plus, we have been looking at a non-disney vacation for next year and Dollywood is on the short list. The zip-line would have been neat, but not for $49 a person!

Hope you and John had a Happy Anniversary!

Dollywood and the surrounding area is a great place to visit. As a matter of fact, keep Helen, Georgia on your mind too. It's a cute little down. Map Quest said it was a 3 1/2 hour drive from Helen to Dollywood. It took us longer because we stopped and took pictures.

I agree with everyone that the price to do the zipline is ridiculous. You pay a ton to get into the park and then want even more money. I think you all were smart by passing it up.

Hope you had a great anniversary.

BTW I started my PTR over on the PTR board, there is a link in my signature if you are interested.

Had this trip been our only Summer vacation, I probably would have paid the extra $49 to do the zipline. But, it wasn't. Even still, I thought $49 was a bit much.

I've got to get all caught up on your report. I'm soooo behind!

Good Morning Lisa! Hope you had a great weekend!!! Just wanted to let you know, if you didn't know already, that Mousesavers put out some discounts for WDW for 2011!!!! Unfortunately, not for when I am going yet! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! We are going I think around Oct. 18th 2011. Hope to get either free dining or a 40% off room deal!!!

Thanks for the heads up (I'm a little late on the thanking.:rotfl:)

Too bad that stinkin' zip line was an extra $49!

But that Adventure Mountain looks like scary fun!

I hope you guys had a great weekend!

I thought that was a bit much to charge somebody to do a zipline over a theme park.

:woohoo: :yay:  :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3: Wonderful news about booking CBR and saving, too! :thumbsup2

I know! I was so excited!

YAY!!! Well, I guess you did take advantage of the discounts!!!!! That is super!!! As we speak, my mom, stepdad, and two brothers are on their way to Disney! :sad1: I want to go!!! They are driving. 16 hrs. NJ to Florida. They will stop for one night though. They left this morning. Already have hit some random traffic jams. DH, DD, and I will be going to NC on Thursday. We will be visiting my cousin. On the weekend we will be going to Myrtle Beach. I have never been so I'm looking forward to it. My cousin, her husband & their 2 daughters go all the time, so they know where to go and what to do. I'd rather be going to Disney, but at least we're going somewhere! The drive is about 7 hrs, she lives around the Raleigh area. I HATE driving!!! I drove to Disney once & don't ever want to do it again. Unless of course it's the only way I can get there! Definitely going to Disney next year though!!! So excited to take my baby for her first time! She will be almost 2 by then! WOW!!! :scared1: After our Disney trip next year we will be trying to add to our family again!!! Excited about that also!! Well, before I write an even longer book here.....I will go! Talk to you soon!!

So, did you get to take advantage of any of the offers Disney put out Monday?

I don't blame you for being jealous having family members in Disney. I'd be jealous as heck too!

Take lots and lots of pictures in Myrtle Beach. I've never been there and would love to see pics!

:yay: for getting the free dining upgrade! I know how you love CBR!

Disney has never offered free dining during our travel dates so I was super excited to take advantage of it!

Wow! All caught up on the Dollywood installments. Looks like you guys are having a great time!

I was :rotfl:at the pic of John on the phone ON the ride! That man and his phone....too funny!

Hunter's soul mate, my Isaiah, can also spend HOURS in the bathroom! It's a running joke in our house! :lmao: Those two would be such good buddies!

Love the picture of your serene and genteel Lacey! :rotfl:

I am so glad you were able to take advantage of the INCREDIBLE free dining deals that came out today! I so wish we could, but it looks like there is no Disney trip for us in 2011....maybe 2012 for our 20th anniversary. We'll see. I'm sad for me, but happy for you! I know how much you love CBR! :thumbsup2

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I wish we lived near each other. Everything you post about you and your family sounds like things we would do. I can just imagine what fun we would have together.

I hate to hear that you won't be going to Disney in 2011. There is a very slight possibility that we may have to postpone but I am not hoping not. We have to do a refinance on a home loan in April and we've got money set aside in case we need to use it for that. Sometimes being self-employed is a wonderful thing and then sometimes it's the pits when trying to do loans. Ugh!

Hi Lisa!:goodvibes I'm all caught up again!!:thumbsup2

I've loved reading about your Dollywood trip! It sounds like you had a lot of fun!

You got some great Eagle pictures...wow!! I can definitely understand why Lacey was so fascinated with them.:)

Aww....too bad the zip line cost more.:sad2: That seems an awful lot more to pay on top of what you already paid to get in!

And...YAY!! for Free Dining and booking CBR!!!:yay::dance3::yay: You were able to save a ton of money and get to stay at the resort you love so much!! I'm so happy for you!!!:goodvibes

I read your wonderful news and I am so excited for you! Even one day in Disney is better than zero days in Disney!

I'm very happy that I was able to book the CBR AND save so much money!

Yay at your being able to get a better deal and going back to your "home." I know you would have been fine at Pop. But you are like me...you have found your "home" resort and that is where we truly want to stay. :)

We were actually coming around to the idea of staying at Pop and were even a little excited. Then, when the free dining promo came out, I realized we could stay at the CBR AND save tons of money.

Hi Lisa! I've seen you on a few other threads that I follow and have been lurking on your TR for a while. I'm all caught up, so I thought I'd post and say "Hi!" :wave2: and that I'm really enjoying your report!

We live in TN and have season passes to Dollywood (and Splash Country) this year. It's been really fun to read about your first visit there! My kids love the train, but I *hate* trying to get all the cinders off afterwards. :headache: We spend a lot of time in the Country Fair area and watching shows when we have the kids with us, but occasionally DH and I will find a babysitter and just go ride all the rollercoasters. I hope you guys were able to ride Mystery Mine. It's a trip!

Congrats to Lacey and Jesse on their engagement! Looking forward to reading more!

ETA: WOOHOO for being able to take advantage of Free Dining!! :woohoo: We're going in March (first stay at CBR! :cool1:) and were able to book FD, too, after we changed our dates a little.

Hey there! I've seen you around too. Glad to see that you've decided to join in on the cat.

I wish we would have had enough time to visit Splash Country. My kids would have loved that. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd get season passes too. Even though Dollywood isn't Disney, it's still a wonderful place to visit.

I'll pass along the congrats to Lacey.

I think you'll love the CBR. It's so very pretty. I was so excited when Disney offered free dining during our travel dates! Now, I'm excited for you too!

Lisa I just wanted you to know you have a twin. If you were so far away I would have swore you were at my court house friday. The lady I saw could have been your twin sister. So I guess you have a twin that hangs out at the court house in York SC.

Who knew I had a twin? :rotfl: Isn't that neat! I wish I was in South Carolina right now and not in sweltering hot Louisiana!

You just made me feel lots better that we didn't end up going to Petit Jean. It's a beautiful beautiful place but I knew we would end up burning up.

Did you take pictures? I'd love to see 'em!

When I last left off, Hunter and John were making their way around a rock ledge on Adventure Mountain. You all know me....I was trying to keep an eye on them so I could take pictures:

SANY4370.jpg

SANY4371.jpg

SANY4374.jpg

I walked over to the bench where Mama and Lacey were sitting to tell Mama that I had found them. She immediately got up and walked over so I could point them out to her. Here she is watching them:

SANY4376.jpg

And still more of the obstacle/challenge course:

SANY4378.jpg

SANY4381.jpg

In the next picture, you can see a geyser.

SANY4384.jpg

John hanging onto the rope and passing by the geyser.

SANY4385.jpg

Remember when I said Hunter was going to get soaked to the bones? Well watch this:

John somehow escaped with just a little bit of water on him. Hunter got soaked! And, he loved it!

There was still one more level of the course. You had to climb up this set of stairs to get there:

SANY4387.jpg

SANY4389.jpg

Here's a picture of Mama and Lacey chatting away on the bench:

SANY4390.jpg

Somehow Hunter had gotten back around to the geyser where he promptly got soaked again!

SANY4394.jpg

We didn't know it but John had already come down from the "mountain" and had made his way back over to our bench. Hunter finished up and came to find us. He was so wet and was so happy!

We were all tired and hot and ready to leave even though we hadn't done a few of the things and no roller coasters. But, like I said, we didn't see one roller coaster running that day anyway.

On the way out of the park, I saw a candy store that I just had to stop in. They gave us a sample of fudge and a sample of salt water taffy. Yum! Yum!
Inside the shop was a talking stove. It was so cute and every kid in the store seemed to be hovered around it.

SANY4397.jpg

We took one final look around in a store near the exit and then out to the tram stop. I took a picture of a tram:

SANY4400.jpg

We sat in the very last row of the tram and were able to chat with the castmember. She asked us what we had done that day, etc. She was very very nice. She made an announcement that we were about to go and asked if there was anyone in Sections A, B, etc. We made it to our parking lot and got off. This is where I really wished they had marked parking lanes. It seems like you are in a hurry to get in the parks in the morning and don't pay much attention. In the evening, you are dog tired and just want to find your car. Soon we found it and we made Hunter get in the backseat and change his clothes since he was still wet.

Continued in next post

What a deal on your trip :thumbsup2:cool1::banana:. I am about to price out our December trip and see how much room only would be. They are not offering free dining during the week we are there in December :sad2:. We don't need tickets anyway, so the price of the rack rate room and tickets would most likely be more expensive than us going room only, getting the room discount, and paying for food OOP.

And, then, we were on our way back to Helen, Georgia. Just before we turned on the main highway in Pigeon Forge, we saw this really cute hotel. There were all sorts of carved animals on it:

SANY4401.jpg

SANY4402.jpg

I wish I had gotten a picture of the front. It was really strange. It had an Orca whale out front?!?!? None of us could figure out how that worked into the whole "theme" of the hotel.:confused3

Within fifteen minutes of being back on the road, we got turned around. Somehow, we missed a bypass that we were supposed to take. There were no turn-throughs on the road so we had to go a good ways ahead. As a matter of fact, we were right on the edge of Gatlinburg before we could turn around. Then, we had to go all the way back to Pigeon Forge and start all over again. This time, we found the exit to the bypass and were soon in the Smoky Mountain National Park where we went through a tunnel:

SANY4264.jpg

It got dark very very quickly. It was foggy and it was dark and it seemed like we were the only people in the park. I've got to admit, it felt kind of creepy. I remembered that there were several drop offs and lots of turns and it wasn't fun driving them in the pitch black with fog everywhere!

At one point, it was so foggy that I had the windshield wipers on. Then, the windows started fogging up. I turned on the defrost and that didn't help. So, we rolled down all the windows and that seemed to help. We drove the rest of the way through the National Park with the windows down. It was all damp and yucky and I was ready to get out of the park and back onto a highway.

Well, we did finally make it back to Cherokee where we got turned around again! Stupid, stupid me forgot to get Mapquest directions BACK to Helen, Georgia. Mama couldn't figure out how to read Mapquest directions backwards. John was getting frustrated and was sitting in the backseat as quiet as a mouse. The kids were trying to help out by trying to find something that looked familiar. Problem was...nothing looked familiar!

I told John I was pulling into a Burger King and we were getting something to eat. Lacey said she was calling Jesse and getting him to text us Mapquest directions. Mama and Hunter didn't say anything because they could tell we were all getting tired and were ready to make it back to Georgia.

There was a nice man behind the counter at Burger King who said he used to be a truck driver and was very familiar with the roads between there and Helen. As a matter of fact, he used to go to Helen, Georgia at least twice a month. I could have kissed his snaggle toothed mouth! I mean, literally, he had just a few teeth which is why I simply gave him a very exuberant "thank you so very very much!"

Just as a safety precaution, Lacey still go Jesse to send us the directions. As soon as we finished up our burgers, we hit the road again following Mr. Snaggle Tooth's directions which lead us directly back to Cleveland, Georgia which is where Lacey's apartment was. We dropped her off and told he we would see her in the morning to say our final goodbye. (Remember, at this time we had no idea we would be seeing her again until Thanksgiving.)

***Up next: Goodby Helen!

I know! I can't believe that it was way cheaper to stay at CBR than it was at Pop. I have never ever been able to take advantage of free dining and am super stoked!

Hopefully, a good deal will come along that you'll get to take advantage of.

Sorry for the sideways pictures. Photobucket is giving me fits today. It shows that they are rotated but then show up sideways.:confused3

Love the update. And leave it to a boy to get drenched not once...but twice. Did you resave the "pics" that are sideways?

Yeah I did. I don't know what's up with the site today. It keeps giving me error messages too.

And, yes, leave it up to Hunter to get soaked twice!

Adventure mountain is a little too much for me....good for John and Hunter, but poor Hunter for getting wet...although he didn't seem to mind!

Thank Goodness for Mr Snaggle Tooth for helping you out! :worship:

$49 for the zipline is quite a bit.....your right, people do say Disney is expensive, but they don't know all that Disney has to offer!

That's great you got free dining...I have never been that lucky

I am booked for December 6th-December 11th. I went with the room only and as I was about to book I thought I would try the AP site, and I saved an extra 5% so it came out to be $321 instead of $350 something :cool1:. I don't know why I haven't gotten an email about the passholder discounts:confused3. I booked us at Pop and now it is time to start the planning :cool1::dance3::yay:.

The bookings must have really been down at Disney because they are making so many offers. I'm not complaining though :lovestruc.
