Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Yep, It in Philharmagic...I love that show!

My prayers continue to be with you and your family.

I love the photos you submitted and I even sent in a few of my own (you inspired me) I love the new theme and get so teary eyed whenever I read the captions on the photos. Last night while watching the Biggest Loser the new commerical for Disney came on and actually sobbed and cried. My DH looks at me like I've lost my mind and I just started to laugh and cry through the tears. Such a great idea.

I saw that too. I loved it!

Great update Lisa. I am excited to try Space Mountain out again. Claire is now tall enough too.

This suggestion may be too late, but have you considered the Swan/Dolphin for your first night? It never really appealed to me, but our last trip we needed a place to stay on our last night and the S/D had a great rate so we picked it.

My kids loved it! For some it is their favorite resort even though we were only there one night. The location is great and the hotel was beautiful. (My fave is AKV, though!)

I remember being nervous when Hunter was finally tall enough to ride Space Mountain. I wondered if he would like it or not. He was only a little nervous but then had a blast!

You know, I hadn't even given the Swan or Dolphin a thought. I may just have to check that out. Thanks!

I like them all! But I have to say the "speechless" one and your daughter on BTMR are my two favorites.

Hey, Lisa! Great updates!! I love that part of your old TR with the "Cold part of Test Track". It made me laugh all over again!
I have been thinking of you & your BIL. That is such an awful thing to have to go through. I just wanted to say I'm here if you need me.

I hadn't thought about getting stuck in Test Track for a while until Allan mentioned it. I needed a laugh and thought others might as well.

I appreciate all your thoughts for my brother in law. It's a really hard time right now but we'll get through it.

We got stuck on splash mountain once. Three adults in one row on the first hill going up! That was not fun. I think I also had to pee lol.

I checked out your pictures and "liked" them all:thumbsup2

I submitted a picture, I found it on the site, but I don't know how to get a link to show anyone. It's titled " a perfect 1st day" .

My daughter is a pee'er:lmao:so I have think of restrooms everywhere. I think the lines anywhere in the world send her into pee mode!

I just read your Dollywood posts. We did a drive by through Pigeon Forge last July (drove to Nashville for a soccer tournament) and I was wondering what Dollywood was like. Not really what I expected, but it does look like a pretty park. What's up with no running roller coasters? What's up with the bird shop lady. Well, I can honestly say that I have no desire to go to Dollywood unless someone gives me free ticket. But I didi enjoy reading about it!

Thanks for looking and "liking" my pictures. I want to see your picture. Just go to the Disney Parks Memories site and click on My Memories. After you've logged in, you'll see your picture. Click View underneath that picture. Then, go up to your web address and copy it. Then, come back here and paste the link. Lordy I hope that made sense. It did in my wee little mind.

I can pretty much tell you where each and every Disney bathroom is.

I'm glad that we went to Dollywood. We have family members who have gone and simply loved it. (Mind you, they have never been to Disney so they can't compare.) It definitely wasn't Disney but it was okay. The castmembers didn't seem to be as helpful or friendly as the ones at Disney who seem to go out of their way to talk with you.

Okay...I'm all caught up now. Congrats to Lacey on the new job; congrats on your pictures being chosen; and hooray for wearing those ponchos...you just never know. ;) I didn't see a picture of John on the phone...was this a record?

Can't wait to hear what you thought about the Plaza.

You know...I think John hadn't been on the phone since that morning. I think it is a record!

With everything that's been going on with my brother-in-law, John decided we needed a break from reality. I wish I could report that we were headed to Disney this weekend but we're not. We're headed to Lake Ouachita State Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

I've been tent camping since I was a little girl and absolutely love it. When John and I got married, I talked him into going and he really enjoyed it too. Even after having the kids, we continued to camp at least twice a year. My kids have grown up camping and think it's fantastic.

So, last night, I pulled out the two "camping totes" from the attic. They have everything in them that we need with the exception of our food. I'll throw that in a tote after I make a quick stop at the store on my way home. John will get off work at 2:30 and Hunter will get out of school a little after three. Hopefully, we'll be on the road by 4:00. The drive from our house to the State Park is about 4 hours. This means we'll be setting a tent up in the dark but it's not like we haven't done it before.

We've already started taking bets who will catch the most fish and who can skip rocks the most times. I'm really really looking forward to sitting on top of a mountain listening to a whole lotta nothing.

My boss is still out of town at a seminar and I'm trying to finish up a few things that were left on my desk. Maybe I can get another installment posted before I leave at lunch.

Hope everybody has a good weekend!

Lisa, I'm glad you are getting away for the weekend. It does everyone good to just take a break from everything. You continue to be in my prayers.

Enjoy your weekend! I haven't been tent camping in probably 15 years!!!

Relax, have fun with your family, and hopefully you'll feel refreshed when you get home.

Have fun camping!

Lisa have you seen that our "friend" has been posting over on the CBR thread. She keeps saying she's staying there. But she also has been posting on the AKL thread, though I think she siad her mom won't pay that much now, AND she's on the All Stars Movies thread, and she says she staying there too! :rotfl2:
