Who is your "Guide"

Judy Kaufman for us. Outstanding! Knows so much about everything Disney. Wonderful, up-beat personality and always returned every one of my phone calls. I highly recommend her!

Hi,
Thought I had better give my guide a mention,
He is James Moore,a real nice guy.
Mick

Our guide was Betty Prikryl. Nice person to work with. She returned calls we made during the time we were in Orlando.

We had Tony Heard as our guide March 2000 on a tour. He was very patience with our phone calls and questions until we decided to buy. (only about 3 weeks had to convince dh). Never heard from him again.

Our Guide is Doug Rapp. We are very happy with the superior level of service he has provided. We are new members. Before our main contract even closed we decided to do an add-on and he was very helpful and understanding.

Have only met him when I toured but he was very informative and not pushy at all. I knew I wanted to join before I even took the tour and signed up on the spot. Will be calling him to be wait listed for an add on soon and will let you know how it goes.

I haven't seen Dave's name up here, has anyone else had him? He's a doll. Very thorough but not pushy.

We also had Kelly Jo and I'm sorry to say that I was not impressed at all. I called Member Services and had myself switched to Susan Schell out of Hilton Head, and she is wonderful to work with.

Byron Helgeson also! He's a great guy and very helpful. Actually he told me I was his longest sale. Met him in 1992 (I think) at OKW and took the tour, unfortunately financially wasn't the right time to buy.
May of 2000 my wife and I were WDW celebrating our 25th anniversary and strolled by the DVC offices at BWV and who do you think we saw....Byron Helgeson. Closed the deal that day! Since then we have also picked up an add on!

Carol Ann DeAngelo. I first contact her through a friend who is a DVC member. We talked on the phone but I didn't buy at first. We wait 3 years then visited WDW and took the tour. Met with a DVC Rep and it was Carol Ann. She said once you have spoken to a Rep, you are logged into the computer and assigned that person. When you visit and take the tour, you are shown "the ropes" by that person.

Patti Douglas. She was nice and thanks to this board, she didn't have to sell us, I knew we were buying and all the info down to my interest rate and how much I was selling back for magical beginnings. My husband didn't say one word the entire time we were there. He knew I had it under control. She was also my uncles guide, thats how we got her, I guess.

Mayra Ramirez ( I think that was her last name) we tried to stop by and see her on our last visit but she was out that day

We joined DVC in 1995 and have had the same guide ever since. Greg Cootz is our guide and we think he is great. He is very low pressure, as I am sure everyone is, but really knows his stuff. We have called many times with questions and even if we get his voice mail he calls back promptly. We recently bought another add-on and he made it effortless as usual. He even calls on occassion just to check on us and see if we nee anything. We are very pleased with Greg.
:)

We have Susie Botcher too. Very helpful and patient with our questions.

When we first purchased in 1993, our guide was James Thomas. He was wonderful!! We used him for two add-ons. We would always stop in to say hi when we were at DVC and he always had time for us. He left around 1999, I think, and we miss him. Don't know the name of our current guide. Did anyone else have James Thomas?

I called to inquire about the DVC in 1996, and Byron Helgeson was assigned to me. He was great, and we bought over the phone without ever taking the tour. He always gets back to us whenever we call him. On our first trip to OKW he stopped by the room to see us since we never had met him in person.

Our first meeting was with Rhonda, sorry, don't remember her last name, in Sept 98. When we went back to view again in Dec 99, we had Greg Cootz. I told him i just wanted updated info and had no intention of buying, he said,"No Problem". I got updated and realized that the points per night did not change (duh on me) and the MB was too good to pass up. We signed all the paperwork and were still out in about the same time frame as other 'high pressure' time shares that we didn't buy.
