Don't know if this was already discussed on this thread but Susan Schell has retired/resigned from DVC. Our guide now is Megan Moriarity.

We have switched back to our original guide. Betty Prykle helped us originally but was not available when we went to Disney and decided to buy. Mark did the paperwork and then we asked to be swithced back to Betty. She is always very helpful......plus my kids made up a song with her name in it. My name is Betty Pryckle now it's time to get a tickle! They were 6 and 11 , we took a long time to buy! Wow is she patient!!!!Thanks for updating!

Just lost my guide. Mark Halvorsen left DVC. I don't know if I have been assigned a new guide or not, but a guy named Derek called and left a message wanting to talk about my DVC membership. Playing phone-tag right now. He might be a guide named Derek Deboer. What can anyone tell me about him? Give me details. I found out about Mark when I tried to call him and Megan Moriarity picked up instead! Nice lady. Tell me about her, too! Thanks.

Because our son has been blessed with life threatening food allergies and Asperger's Autism, he could not stay in the children's play area while my wife and I visited DVC.

Our guide was more concerned that our son was having a good time than he was with selling us DVC.

Needless to say, we signed on the dotted line for 175 AKL points.

I received an unexpected call from my new guide (LuAnn? in Doorway to Dreams) this afternoon.

(As long as this unprompted phone call is legit.. I should be receiving a postcard soon) Unfortunately, my guide Marshall Sutton recently passed away. I enjoyed the brief amount of time I spent with him. My prayers are with his family.

I was just re-checking in on this thread as I always do and noticed that dearest Marshall has passed away.

Having spent a wonderful hour or so with him in December last year to say hello and drop off a Christmas card for him (he loves my homemade cards), the small gesture of the welcome hug and big smile he gave me, leaves me feeling so sad that he has passed on, but blessed for the time he always took with me and my partner with our 1st purchase and everything on from there.

We will miss him dearly and pass on our thoughts and prayers to his family.
