Oooh! That's the Sheriff of Nottingham! He can be a hard one to get. We were lucky enough to catch him by Robin Hood one year just as he was getting ready to leave. I had to BEG the CM to pleeeaasssee let me grab a quick shot and he was nice enough to oblige.

OOO! Which park did you see them at? Robin Hood is my favorite Disney movie. I still remember seeing it at the drive inn when I was little. Oo di loly!

This summer, Robin, Maid Marrion, Fryer Tuck and King John were at the MK both days that we were there. We saw all of them to the left of main street (when you enter the park), near where the parade ends. Also saw Robin at the train depot in Mickey's Toon Town. Would never have seen him (or the others) if we weren't riding the train.

This past week we were in Toon Town near the train station when a CM announced that a few hard to find characters were out by the side of the character tent. It was near the smoking area, so we were standing by there while my sister smoked. They had a few of the Jamboree bears as well as a few of the Peter Pan characters.

We also saw a few of the Peter Pan characters at AK last week near the entrance.

We lucked in to having Robin Hood ride our raft with us over to Tom Sawyer Island a few years ago.

Hey... I do believe that's the first time I've ever even seen ol' Bushel-Britches in one of the parks!

BTW -- am I the only one who has noticed Little John and Baloo talking to each other during the opening to "House Of Mouse" and had a really good laugh at the inside joke?

I didn't realize how rare the sheriff is now! When I was a kid, I saw him all the time - and I definitely met him again this past year. Wow! I feel special!!

And what a great maiden name!! ( I would've kept it hehe)
