I am!;) That way, all I have to do, is stick it in the oven and watch it bake!;) (No stuffing inside).;)

I haven't started, but I'm going to brine my turkey beginning tomorrow afternoon. That's as organized as I can get. :)

Addicted~ I will be doing the same tomorrow.:D

Ours is thawing now

I made noodles today. I have a crap load of them. My arms are killing me. I will pay for this for days!!!!!!!

DH is making the brine tonight, and the turkey takes a bath tomorrow night around this time. Then we will pop it in the oven Thursday morning, early and be ready to go.

Not cooking this year :( I'm sort of sorry I'm not, but I think that emotionally it will be easier to go out to eat.

How do you make the brine? Is that where you mix Kosher Salt and spices and let the turkey sit in it over night? I did that last year, and the Turkey came out REAL moist!;)

poohbear,

We have blatantly stolen the recipe from Alton Brown's Good Eats show on Food Network. We copy his brine recipe to the letter, and it is fab. I can send you the link when I get home from work, but if you go to FoodTV.com and search for Good Eats Roast Turkey, it will be there.

And, yes, we soak it and it is moist, even the day after with leftovers, which is unheard of.

Let me know if you would like the link, I will be heading home shortly.

I found a recipe in Cook's magazine for high roast turkey...
a 12 pound turkey, stuffing and gravy in LESS than 2 hours! I have to try this it sounds too cool!
