I just started reading Creating Magic by Lee Cockerell. It is really good.
I am enjoying the book.
What are your thoughts about the book?
How are you going to use it in everyday life?

I started listening to the audio book yesterday. I bought the book as soon as I listened to the last podcast, but I realized that I could download and then listen in the car. So far, I am enjoying it. I am only on chapter 4. As for RL, not sure yet how I will apply what I'm hearing because I work for a small construction company and there isn't really anyone under me and the 3 above me are the owners! I think some of the things I can use in our family situation.

Thanks for starting the thread...hopefully others will chime in.

I read the book and thought it had some good points.

But, I've been reading this type of book for most of my 35+ year career (not that its helped) and find that some of this is repetitive from what others have said. Perhaps the best thing about this book is more in the way the information is conveyed rather than the actual message.

I also enjoyed some of the tidbits about how things came to be at WDW. Now if only they had actually implemented the "check-in on the bus" concept that Lee mentions towards the end.

I'm reading it too. I manage a call center so this works very well in my every day life. There are many points that I just shake my head and say "yup I already do that". But it is good to have the reminder.

I do like the inside stories he tells. I feel like we are allowed to peak into a secret world that no one knows about.:ssst:

I just got it over the weekend. I have not started it yet. Trying to decide if I should save it for my trip in two weeks or just get started.

Just received the book through Amazon on Friday and started it. But since it was such a busy weekend didn't get to read a whole lot.
Might try this week but with my DS's prom this weekend and graduation next week I might no get to it for a few weeks.

I read it and enjoyed it. I think the way that he presented his real life examples helped the information to sink in.
