Who is "POP"ING with Free Dining?

We will be there from 9/20-9/27!! We booked last year during free dining.
That was crazy with the upgrades last year. Does anyone think it will happen again this year. That would be awesome!!!

last year they overbooked Pop - so some of Pop got a 1-bedroom at SSR or OKW - others got a studio - a couple even got a 2-bedroom.

or it could have been a DVC marketing thing - to get people who could afford DVC, but hadn't brought to consider it.

disney can check your credit rating - when you pay by credit card.

Thinking about booking a solo trip for 9/1- 9/6 for my birthday. None of my friends can go/ don't want to go (who DOESN'T want to go to Disney?) so I may just book and if I can't find a friend to add to the reservation go by myself.

It'll be around $1000 for the room and plane tickets. I have always wanted to do a solo trip so I could operate on my schedule, get out of the room for rope drop pick my choice of activities. I'm 23(would turn 24 there) my dad thinks I'm nuts for wanting to go alone . I'm just excited by the idea So who knows maybe I'll be "POP"ING for free dining too!!!!

Isn't there a singles board around somewhere for people who want to share a trip????

Maybe someone could use a Nanny???

8/23 - 9/1/08 split stay with free dining!!!! Also hoping for last year's OKW/SSR upgrade to happen again. That was the best.

I would SO love for this to happen. Being as we need 2 rooms everywhere - I just cant spend the money it would cost to stay anywhere other than a value.

I would LOVE a 2 bedroom at Saratoga!!

How interesting! That must of been a nice surprise for some of you! Love Pop but a 2 bdrm at one of those places, that would be hard to pass up for my family!

Certainly not something to count on though. I feel lucky to have gotten free dining at all to tell you the truth!

It wasn't just POP. We got the upgrade from Music. It did seem to include people who's dates included Labor Day.

Sept 4-7...a real quickie trip as a surprise for my dd's great grades this year. MNSSHP and NoJ too. Wish it was going to be longer, but heck, I was there in Aug, Dec, Jan, and going back in Dec...guess I shouldn't complain.

September 1st 10pm Fantasmic Meet..... since there are 2 Fantasmic that night it's perfect... we can all enjoy rides and meet at the less busy of the 2 shows

September 3rd Illuminations Meet....Location TBD (I'm thinkin Norway, was great viewing from there for us last year)

September 5th Glow II: The Bounceback Party.... 10pm till whenever...

I'm not a resort "snob" but hope in spending this much money that I won't be dissappointed by not spending a little more and getting the Disney experience that we are used to. I'm sure it will all be good once we get there but until then I could possibly drive myself insane!

You were me last year, only stayed in deluxes before POP 2007, and I drove myself insane wondering if I was making a mistake. Just so you know, I just booked POP today again for this year, and am really looking forward to it!! You can't beat it for the money. For now, my GF & BWI days are over. POP is too good of a deal

Anyways, we will be there September 20th-26th FREE Dining
