Lots of us here are going to lose your yearly streak of cruising this year. Unless of course you sailed in the beginning of the year. My first DCL cruise was in 06. Thought I will sail at least one 7 night or longer cruisethe rest of my life or until I was old and wearing a diaper. Had 14 straight years that will come to a end. So how long was your streak going.

In my opinion, people are going to be rolling 2020 up and tossing it in a dark closet, or possibly an attic behind great-grandma's china that no one wants anymore. It will be like the number 13 on elevators. It just won't exist in terms of counting anything other than, sadly, the dead and sick.

funny you say that. Actually (thankfully) I did sail in 2020; we went on Star wars sailing Jan 4. I thought how sad for all those people like me, who check their castaway club list of sailing, and go year by year reminiscing of all the great memories. This year was our first 7 night sailing. Keeping fingers crossed we will sail in 2021.

We don't just cruise DCL, and had 3 cruises booked for 2020. One in April cancelled and moved to October, and that one also cancelled. And we had a river cruise booked in April which was moved to land trip in October, also cancelled. That one has been moved to April 2021 - we'll see.

We've cruised (often more than one cruise a year, on one line or another) since 2008, with our last one in 2019.

I was lucky enough to have sailed in January 2020, whew!

My last calendar year without at least 1 Disney Cruise was 2007. Before that I had also sailed in 2006, 2005, 2002, and 2000. As luck would have it I was planning to jump ship this year and only do 1 cruise on NCL as part of a bucket list trip to Hawaii, however that obviously did not turn out as planned. We do have DCL booked for April and NCL booked for July, but it's anyone's guess if either of those will actually happen. :sad2:

I don’t have a DCL streak, it was five years between cruises and we did sail in 2020 (some of the very last DCL passengers) but unless something changes in 2021 we will lose our 5 year Disney vacation streak.

I have only a faint hope for our 2021 Northern Europe sailing but I’m a still more hopeful that maybe Disneyland will be possible by the end of 2021.

We are. We've been sailing with DCL since 2015, this is the first year we have missed (had two cancelled for this year). Hopefully 2021 will not repeat that 😬

Luckily we sailed in Feb of this year, so kept our streak for now. We started with DCL in 2002. Cancelled our Jan 2021 cruise to wait and see what happens.

Still good as we did two this year, but am worried about 2021!
(Hawaii was a heartbreaker!)

We started in 1999. We sailed in Feb 2020 out of NO. We were supposed to be on the Dream special 7 night that should have disembark TODAY... moved it to SWDAS Feb 27, 2021. We will see...

we were booked on one of the first cruises to be cancelled this year, breaks our 19 year streak. no hope now of ever having a 20 year cruised every year now, maybe ?

I am ready to kick it to the curb~2020. I hope 2021 sees some sort of improvement, for the sake of everyone's mental health. One cruise away from platinum will just have to wait for all this to end. Pandemics do have an endpoint. I wish this one would end soon. Sadly, with all that is happening now, no where in sight. When I rebooked my cancelled dream cruise in May I thought there was no way possible we would not be going over a year out. Now I realize come the beginning of the year I will be canceling it again... :(

Yes, but not because of the virus.
We left on a seven day NCL cruise back earlier this year.
We were suppose to go on another cruise this year but it was canceled. It would have been another NCL cruise.
This will be the first time we missed a yearly Disney cruise since before 2014.
Before 2014 we had done several but not every year.
Fore those who have missed their yearly streak I would say, 2020 does not count. 2020 should have an * next to it with an exception.

We continued the streak with a January 2020 cruise. Our B2B in Sept was canceled and I pulled the plug and moved the January 2021 cruise to May 2021. Hope cruising will return soon.

We were on a NYE DCL cruise, and got off in January, so I will count that. In February we did a Princess cruise, and I snorkeled in Virgin Islands. We had 4 DCL cruises cancelled this year. We have 4 DCL cruises booked for 2021, 1 Princess cruise. Who knows how many of those will happen?

Not all DCL but I have sailed every year (at least once, but usually twice) every year since 2015, in April and October. This year, I was expecting changing jobs so we decided to go in January!! So I cruised in 2020... Came back okay, I think (there was no way to get tested back then).

A few days after we came back they announced the first case of COVID in the USA and a little bit later, the first case in Canada.

So... In our case, no broken streak. But I'm ready to wait as long as it takes for it to be safe.
