Who is going? When?

I have not read through this thread, nor read it for awhile. But I am assuming you have thought about getting a grand gathering together. Not like there are a lot of perks or anything. However there are experiences specific to GG groups. Believe it is 8+ guests.
Understandably, I am not too big on off site resorts. (Never having stayed at any myself.) However there seem to be some nice ones at reasonable rates for 1 and 2 bedroom suites.

I am hoping as the time gets near, we will be able to find roomies to help keep cost down and stay at a nicer resort.

We will match up room mates when the time comes, if people want them.
Some of us are DVC, so I assume some will be staying at those places.
Stay tuned......after my June trip (get back the 11th) we will start by setting the date!!

Well our trip for Christmas/New Year this year has had to be posponed. The friends we were going with need to pospone it for a year so we will do that (I guess I will just miss the exchange meet trip by a few weeks!!) Although this does mean the money we had saved for the trip can go towards the new car I want which I was origionally going to get next summer (I am finally getting a sports car which I have wanted for about 10 years!!) We will be on the look out for a deal for a few days at Disneyland Paris though either in the summer or for Halloween so I will still get a Disney trip this year hopefully!!

Yeah I am a little dissapointed, but I had a fab trip at AKL last summer and I do get the car I have always wanted a year earlier than planned now!! I will still search for a deal to go to DLRP at some point instead. A new land is opening in the studios this year which will be fun to see.

My DCuzs who live in different states invited me to join them...we'll be at BCV, and mostly it will be a chance to visit.

We're going June 5 -12. Taking my DGS12 and DGS7. My youngest DS and his DW are also going and taking their DD6. I am SO looking forward to this trip with my three grandkids. It's going to be so much fun.

Nancy have you or the other exchangers thought about which rooms everyone would be interested in? I know you mentioned quite a few of you are DVC members...so would the rest of us plan to stay on at least the same resort area? Just curious!

No idea on that yet, Nikki.
We will ask people who need rooms if they want room mates and find out where people want to stay.
We may be pretty spread out, not sure yet.

I'm excited just booked my next trip to WDW, it seems like forever since my last trip. My DH and I will be checking in on January 27, 2011 and checking out on February 2, 2011. Staying at BLT for the first time, can't wait.
