On Saturday, 7.05PM?

I am going to watch the first to try it, but otherwise I have no real intention of doing so..

I've Sky+ it for later in the week :thumbsup2

Robin looks nice (if a bit young, but then I think I am a bit old!)

I just Sky+ it. I'll think I will watch Ant and Dec's Saturday night takeway first though..

I enjoyed it. Keith Allen was a good Sheriff of Nottingham.

It was a bit too sugar sickly and unbelievable for me, so I'm afraid I was a tad disappointed. I will persevere for a couple of weeks though. I think it will be Keith Allen who saves it though.

Watched it this morning ~ Not my cup of tea at all. Won't be watching again.

Good something fresh on Saturday TV with Simply a goof evenings 'entertainment' rather than 'fixed' talent shows, making lots of money for themselves!

I was very disappointed with it. Thought the acting was awful, and he is too young to be Robin Hood (even if he is nice looking).

It was too tongue in cheek for me, it needed to be a bit more serious, the two main characters in last nights episode, (Robin and Much) were just like two overgrown schoolboys having a laugh and getting paid for it!

I don't think the girl playing Marion is right for the part either.

I don't think I'll be watching again. :sad2:

I wasn't intending to watch it, but I've just seen it on BBC3 and it wasn't too bad. I'll give it another week to see if I get into it :thumbsup2

Some mis-casting going on i think, the only character I was happy with was the Sheriff of Nottingham, my DS 5 really enjoyed it though so I think that says it all,

Considering that they have just spent 5 years (was Robin in nappies when he went out there?) fighting the Turks, and the last few weeks spent in a Turkish gaol, they didn't look too rugged and battle hardened to me (Mind you, the beards they were sporting may have taken them 5 years to grow :lmao: ).

Robin was nice looking but not hardened enough. It all seemed very slapstick to me although Keith Allen was v good as the sheriff. Funny but evil. I was surprised by the silliness of it all though.

Marian didn't seem right to me. I didn't particulrly like the actress who plays her. She looks and acts wrong for the part imo.

I have taped it so I can show my class tomorrow. They are learning about middle ages and it'll show them costumes, armour and a few weapons, instead of just seeing pics of it online or in books. Watching part of it will shut them up for a while too, an added bonus.

I will watch again next week but I'm not quite convinced yet. I can handle some mindless stuff on a Saturday night. It's about all my brain can deal with then.
