Who is going in May 2023???

Here I go again, trying to make a trip happen for myself and my niece and her 2 daughters...the last thought was end of Feb, beginning of March but that was just blown out of the water by her mother....aarrgghhh. So now it is May 9-12th...weather will be good and hopefully not too crazy of a time to go. Littlest has never been, she is 8, oldest is 18 and it has been such a long time for her so they are both super excited...again.

Plan is May 6-10. Flights are booked - prices have dropped twice since I originally booked, enough miles back for another flight!
Hotel booked, DI&S has the best prices around.
Looking at WoC dessert party again - the one splurge I can get behind.

First time back on this site since our original vacation was cancelled when the parks were closed due to Covid. We are now booked May 22nd-27th. Really hoping it won’t be too crazy busy during that time. It’s just after the end of the school year here in AZ and hoping to get a little bit of an early jump on the summer vacation crowds…

Is it correct that we wouldn’t be able to book our park reservations for our May 22nd - 27th trip yet? The website was previously saying that we’d be able to make park reservations after Jan 18th but when I log on to do so it only shows as May 18th having availability and the rest of May shows as no availability for either park.

I’m assuming this is just because we’d only be able to book our park reservations starting on Jan 22nd or later?

Correct. Reservations are available 120 days out, day by day. Other people have reported the website giving incorrect dates of availability.

I have a May date as one of my 'tentatives'. These days it seems my visits tend to be a bit spur of the moment. Of course, 'spur of the moment' for me is planning 3 months ahead instead of 9! lol

Same here! Kids are done with school on the 19th for us in AZ. Getting on the road on the 21st! we're hoping to miss some of the vacation crowds as well. Only thing that sucks is it's going to be Grad Nite on the 24th and 25th in California Adventure I think...
