Who is going in July

We'll be adding 3 nights in DL to the end of a Santa Barbara trip so we'll be there July 22-25.

My main goal is to see the Electric Light Parade because it was on hiatus the last time we were there in October. I saw the parade when I was 10 and am dying to see it again.

My main worry is the crowd level. I've been in August in the past, but recent crowd levels have been so high. We'll be planning on early mornings in the park with long naps and a swim midday.

I can't wait!

We'll be at the DLH at the same time. We went last year at the same time and boy was it nuts - of course going the week after the 17th wasn't the brightest idea but we still enjoyed it. Typically we'd hit DL until about noon and head back to the pool - the pool was also packed but enjoyable. We'd hit DCA at night and go back to the hotel at closing to enjoy the "warm" tub at DLH. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that crowds won't be as bad as last summer but I'm realistic and will assume not much will have changed with the 50th still in full motion.
