Annual December girls trip 9th-14th! Can't wait!

How are the crowds during that time? This is our first year going around that time so I was just curios . We are going Dec 11th -16th Update/ Sorry I just realized this was a DisneyLand thread not Disney World

Okay, so I could buy my DL tickets now, but...
I'm probably going to buy from either a 3rd party discount site, or my employer's discount site, and I've read that if Disney later offers a better "deal" on the price of tickets, you can in theory call Disney and get a refund from the deal. Buuuutttt... is that still true if I don't buy from Disney? I'm guessing not...

Now to try to find and study a static map of DLR, because the "interactive map" on their site just does not work well with either my computer browser or in the phone app...

We’re holding a reservation at GCH for mid December but we are not 100% sure if we will keep it. Depends on a few things being put into place by Disney over the next few months.

I bought my tickets and selected park reservations last week! And recently hit 100 days in the countdown. Soooo... now what can I do with all this excitement?! LOL

We always do a staycation at GCH for a couple of nights the first week of Dec. Will probably do the same this year. Gets too busy after that on the holiday social calendar. I LOVE Fall at DLR but Christmas is where it's at for me in the Parks. MAGICAL!

We have 3 nights at Grand Cali on Dec 12 - 15th! I love the Holidays at Disneyland and cannot wait!

We are at 94 days for our trip. Can't wait until they release the special food. Did I see somewhere that there are food booths during the holidays? I love the wine and food fest in spring. Anything like that? I am so looking forward to this trip!

The booths are over at DCA for their Festival of Holidays. Very similar to Food & Wine setup.

That is so cool. I am really excited for this trip. I'm taking my daughter and her best friend, they are 9. I'm planning on letting them lead the way for most of the trip which I think will be such a fun adventure. The only thing I really care about is food so as long as I get to eat what I want I'm happy as a clam!

We are. We fly out Christmas night and will do a couple days at Universal and then to DL. We'll be in the park from 29th - 1st. It's hard to not talk about it around the kids.

We have 3 bonus Grands who will be on this surprise Christmas trip. My DIL almost blew it right out of the gate so we decided we needed to come up with a word that we can use instead of DL that makes sense but doesn't give it away.

BBQ is our code word. BBQ, its easy to remember and the littles don't pay any attention as its a very common word to them.

We are arriving Dec 5, and can't make up my mind about when to leave - Dec. 9th or 10th. Sooo excited for this trip. We are WDW veterans, but this is the first to DL, and the first "girls only" trip. Staying offsite for the first time ever, and even though we'll be right across the street, I'm hoping I won't regret not staying onsite like we normally do at WDW.

Where are you staying? I've been there around that time of the month in the past and it was nice crowd-wise. Have a great time! As for my mouth...I think once I make these reservations for theme park and dining, I will be able to chill out and focus on some other things, but it is so hard! It may come to wire...

We are staying at Del Sol across the way. But I am seeing lots of hotels sold out for those dates which is weird. I currently have 2 king rooms booked but we are tossing around the idea of staying in one of the rooms with 2 queens and a bunk sharing a room to save some money. I will just keep checking we have a long time till we go but seemed weird to me.

Can't wait!! 14 year old daughter hasn't been since she was 5, and 18 year old son didn't even remember which park had 'the ride with the monster' (matterhorn). I feel like a Disney failure, it's been so long. We're staying across the street at Courtyard Theme Park Entrance. We'll be driving from Utah, I don't even want to bother dealing with air travel these days.

We drive last November and it was so nice not dealing with delays or cancellations..
