We let the kids drive their own bus now that they are bit older. Our normal day to day enviroment has gotten so habitual that I do not even have to say anything to them. My 17 yo DD has a 1 day break then back to her 2 nd year in college, but the drive is 18 hours plus so they do get a chance to rest in a moving car. We also thought about the cabana if they want to go slower for an afternoon. Everyone still naps in our group and we do stay up late just about every night. Have fun.I agree blackjackdelta, but it is really hard on the kids to do early entry and stay up late to do fireworks, fantasmic, etc.. At 10 and 15, they won't do naps but I sure can-lol. DH just wants a "vacation" and a slow pace so we'll leave him behind. I asked him yesterday if he just wanted us to rent him a cabana at the pool and he can lay around and watch sports, drink beer and swim and just come get him for an occasional ride. DS is counting on him to ride the big ones so we'll see but it's hard to go with someone who is not Disney obsessed (and more like bordering hatred-ack.)
We come home on Saturday and everyone goes back to school on Sunday so they will have one whole day to rest up and get ready for school. They can sleep on the car ride home!
