I think we have finally decided that WOC will be too much for my youngest so DH and DS8 will get the picnic one day and DS6 and I the next. At least the August show times are now showing up on the DL website.

I am going to book Goofy's Kitchen and Surf's up with Mickey character meals along with Carnation Cafe and Big Thunder ranch BBQ. We have 6 days scheduled for DL/DCA but are in Anaheim for 11 days.

I think we are switching hotels...I have a reservation at HoJo's but still haven't seen any AP/ET rates pop up for our dates.

I also have a reservation at the Ramada Maingate for $89 a night. It is so hard to choose...and now there are great AP rates for DLH.

Oh well. I did finalize our reesrvation for Club 33 on August 26 @1:00. I am super excited to go back again.

Myself (first time DL vacation planner, but DL 'veteran') and my girlfriend (DL newbie) are going to be in Anaheim from August 19th through August 26th armed with a 5-day pass. We're staying at the HoJo thanks to some recommendations from this board, and we're very much looking forward to it!

You'll be there just about the same timing as us! (24-30) We're at the Maingate in a 3 room suite! the price couldn't be passed up as for what we're paying here we couldn't get more than a standard room with an extra pull out in other hotels! We can't wait!

Have you stayed at the Ramada before? I have not but someone on this board gave them a wonderful recommendation. Their pool looks fabulous and they have their own page on Facebook and people love them. The have a really big following.

I love HoJo's but I love a bargain too. More money to spend elsewhere since we don't spend much time in our room.

Oh I know your dilemna! I started at BWPPI, then switched to HOJO with Kids Suite. The complication for us is that we are bringing my Mom, so with 5 of us, we need a little more room. This is my Moms first trip in 25 years, and I don't think she has ever been for more than one day. We love Disney and I am so excited to show her why. I wish we were going to Club 33, you lucky ducky! Anyhow, the PPH came up on good rates, and now we are switching half way and doing a concierge level splurge out last two nights. And I think that is final

Haha thanks for the welcome, sorry for the delay!!

I absolutely love 2112, one of my favorite albums from when I was growing up =) I'm also a bassist (hence the Bassman haha, taken from the Fender Bassman series of amps) who was influenced a ton by Geddy Lee =)

We will be at the Grand Californian from August 9-12 for my 40th b'day. We are so looking forward to experiencing DL for the very first time.

We had our car completely die on us this weekend and the cost to replace it will wipe out my vacation account

we're very upset to have to cancel....we had everything booked (not fully paid for thankfully) and we have to try to recoup what we can to pay for either the repair or a replacement!

I was really looking foreward to seeing DL for the first time

Visiting Disneyland 8/21 - 8/28 with my wife. After ten years of being parents, we're vacationing without the kids for the first time. Also, after 10 trips to Disney World in the last 10 years, this is our first trip to Disneyland!!! I sooo can't wait

Anyone find any deals on a car rental around this time?

Thanks all! We hope to be able to take a make up trip in the not too distant future. Unfortunately for me I'd already bought our non refundable 5 for 3 DL passes that expire sept 30! Sucky for me to eat that price up!
