Who is going in August

as I thought they would be. BUT we stayed at the DLH and took full advantage of every early entry. That made all the difference. We'd ride a zillion rides in the morning with no lines, gather fastpasses, have an early lunch, pool time at the hotel, come back later when crowds were dispersing, maybe hit DCA. We never stayed for the fireworks, though we could see them from our room.

The late morning/afternoon crowds were insane, I have to say.

My DH and I are thinking sometime in August, maybe the first week. I see may of you saying the crowds will be bad, my husband and I were there in Aug 2008 and I didn't think the crowds were too bad. Is there something else going on?

We are thinking of renting points and staying at GCV.

Good luck. We are renting points but the last time I checked there was nothing available for August except for the Grand Villa off and on. There are only a total of 50 units.

We can't decide between June or August. I'm leaning more towards August 15-21. I'm so happy about the direct flights out of Pasco, so unless they add flights we will have to shorten our trip to the 19th.

I'm guessing June will be a zoo with WOC?

I'm thrilled about those direct flights, too! We will be there 8/8 to 8/12. I actually booked the return flight on Delta out of SNA, because the only Allegiant flight leaves at 7:20 am. Too early for the Dobies!!

Ok.. Jack.. I have become a problem.. Now could you change the Hojos to the DLH. I have had a great morning... I couldn't pass up upgrading to the Disneyland Hotel for $250 for 3 nights. My mom is now going with us so I can say that she's paying the difference right??? Well that's what I'm going to tell my husband..

Where in WA are you Ellie? We too are in Wa(Kelso) and are driving down 8/2 - 8/9 but our plans have changed a bit we will be @ DLR from 8/2 to 8/7 then on to Vegas for the next 2 nights.....
