Thanks Jack and cgh. This will be my first trip to the DLR and those pictures scared me a little. I'm going to leave my plans as is and focus on planning well.

Plan well and you will not have issues, the ROA becomes very congested around the last 2 hours prior to F and the hub after fireworks. We try to use the day the best we can and avaoid the big wait lines.

Finally bought our plane tickets last night !!! Yah!! It feels like we are really going!!!
Just need to save some more for spending money !!!! I cannot wait for summer to get here!

I've just booked for August 26th-September 3rd at the Carousel. We will be getting 8 day hoppers, even though we will be doing a few day excursions at Sea World, LA, and Catalina Island. But we plan to use the hopper passes in the evenings when we return from our day away.

My wife, two daughters and I will be arriving August 5th until the 15th. 10 days in So Cal in August, should be loads of fun!

We will be going August 1-10, just booked the flight working on the hotel now.

We will be in town for the Angels/Red Sox game at the end of August. The days that seem to work for our schedule would be to be at the parks Thursday Aug 30th and Friday Aug 31st.

Touringplans.com has crowds at around a 3 and 4 those days. Does that seem accurate? I know that a lot of schools will have started back up by that point, but it will also be the start of Labor Day weekend/1/2 marathon weekend. What do you think?

So excited for our first stay at the DLH - Aug. 28-Sept. 3 for my Coast to Coast medal. I'm looking forward to twice the fun and half the distance, as this time I have my family. Woot!

just booked the Ramanda Maingate from 8/31 - 9/2 for my first trip to Disneyland!

We will be there for a quick trip Aug 28-29. We will be spending one night at the VGC. Spending the rest of the week visiting family and taking in the other LA area tourist attractions.

Count me in. I'll be there August 31-September 3 at the Fairfield. Running in the 1/2 Marathon!! This will be my first trip to DL and California...and I'm doing it SOLO!! So excited!!
