Who is going home in August?????

We are going to the beach club 8/26 - 9/3. This will be our first trip as DVC members

We will be arriving sometime on Sat., 8/21 and staying at POR Riverside for one night (we decided to leave a day early) and then checking in at OKW for Sun., the 22nd through Sep. 1st. We are a total of 8 families. I can't wait. Definitely need a vacation.

I'm so excited. I just took advantage of the short wait time for MS on Thurs. evenings to restructure our Aug. vacation. Usually, it's a week at Hilton Head. But we're making this into a mega vacation, We're spending 4 days looking at "southern" colleges for DS(17). After that, we just needed to go to the World. I was so surprised to get a 2 BD at SSR for 8/22 to 8/27. Then it's a studio at OKW for 2 nights. Then we leave WDW and land in HH on 8/29. We hope to do "A Private Affair" w/ Chef Gordon. We depart HH on 8/31. Lots of non-Disney planning to do, since we need to stay in Va. and N.C. for the colleges. DH & I were talking about how this will be one of our last "traditional" summer vacations, once DS heads off to college. (Sigh!)

We are!!! August 29 to Sept. 4th. I just received confirmation today from MS that everything has been "approved" and we are Officially DVC Members!!! I was so happy to hear from them today that I was literally dancing an singing at my desk at work! School doesn't start here in MA until Sept. 9th for 10th Graders. Yea! I am way too happy! Can't wait!

Anyone have a clue as to why the hours for the Studios are so long on a Wednesday that first week? That makes me think it will be really crowded...they even have a second Fantasmic that night. which I believe is usually one of the slower nights at the Studios....

We are too! 8/25 through 9/5. We are staying at BWV until 9/2 and then the Portofino Bay @ US We can't wait. 75 days and counting!!!

self, DH, 20yo DD, 15yo DS (turning 16 while we're there).......
