Who is done with the school shopping?

I haven't even started! The school district did away with the "uniforms" (really strict dress code) so that helps A LOT! My sister works at Foley's and gets a 20% discount so on the tax-free weekend we're going shopping. And Foley's has the most awesome sales. It will be a mad house, but I'll save lots of money. I guess I could go ahead and buy school supplies while there's still a selection and low crowds. Last year it seemed like every time I turned around ds was needing more markers or glue. I'll stock up on some things this year. I also need to write a letter requesting a specific teacher. And I want to get ds a haircut before the rush. And I need to get him into the asthma and allergy doctor one more time and get an updated dr. note for inhaler use at school. We went to the dentist earlier this week and I need to take him to a different one who can sedate him to fill some cavities. This is a short list of everything we do to get ready for school.

lol - my daughter starting getting her school supplies ready on the last day of school. She's so excited to be going to a new school (in our district they have one school for K-3, another for 4-6, another for 7-8, and finally high school). So she's off to 4th grade!!!!

I thought our school district had to be the only one to divide the grades up so much. Our is K-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9, and then high school (10-12). Fall 2005, they 9th graders will just go to the high school and the 9th grqade school will be turned into a third jr. high.

Yep, I'm done. I just give them the money ane they supply the
stuff. Piece of cake!!!

tax free weekend is the first weekend of next month so time for a mass family shopping trip

I really like it because you never really worry about the older kids picking on the little ones.:earsgirl: They should do all schools like this imo.

We don't get the school supply list until sometime in Aug....No new backpacks or lunchboxes...so I'm covered there...

I don't do NEW CLOTHES shopping so I'm covered there...

I'd say I'm almost done...
