Who is coming with us? update 8/9 V&A booked

Day #2 Magic Kingdom
This is a day that we have not changed the ADRs from when we made them.
We have an 8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace.

Hopefully we will see DD #1 smile. She has a new thing about not smiling in pictures, or doing a fake smile. I can't wait to have the puffed french toast again.

We all have a huge list of rides we want to go on. I want to go on Haunted Mansion. We all want Splash Mountain and BTMR. I know we will go on Space Mountain.
I want to go on Carousel of Progress since I didn't in February.

We have 7pm ADR at CRT. This will be our first time going for dinner.
In the girls first trip in 2006, we got very lucky and got an ADR for our last day breakfast about 3 days before. We got lucky in that we had a CM checking for breakfast ADRs just as some one canceled.

Cute pictures that I can’t resist sharing

It is looking at pictures like that when people try and tell me that you should not take kids to WDW till they are 6 or older that makes me tell them they are crazy.
Or pictures like this one

Dani was slighly afraid of the Mat Hatter at first. This was at the end of the meal, he saw that she was ready for him and sat on the floor with her.
Even a picture like this

Sydney did not want to anything to do with Belle when we got to Askera (need to fix the spelling). But before we left she really wanted to see and hug her. So we asked and were able to.

Even a memory like this:

Journaling on the page reads:
Wednesday October 25 was our last day in Walt Disney world. Daddy got the rental car. We decided to drive to Animal kingdom instead of taking the Disney bus since there was no need to go back to All Star Music after the park. It only took about 5 minute to drive to Animal Kingdom. We parked in Unicorn 27. We got on the tram for the ride to the gate, while joking about how close we were. When the tram got to the park, the driver slammed on the brake. The sound of Sydney’s head on the seat in front of her was not a sound I want to ever hear again. Yes I had been holding you, but it did not matter, you still went flying forward. We got of the tram and saw the bump on your forehead. Saw how gently the next tram stopped. We went in to the park. Our first stop was first aid. The nurse looked you over, gave us an ice pack. You were pretty good about letting me hold the ice on your head. Of course you were fine. There was not even a black and blue mark the next day.
If this link works it is some of my old disney digital scrapbooking pages.

Day 3:
We are going to Chef Mickey’s for breakfast this morning. We have an 8:15 ADR. Just need to figure out what time to take the boat over to the Contempory.
Here was the breakfast of champs from our 2009 trip

Last time we went for breakfast I had them take a picture with my camera, I will probably do the same thing this trip as well.
I think this might be our 2nd magic kingdom day It is open from 9am to 10 pm with EMH till 1 am. Or we could go to Epcot it is open from 9am to 9pm with EMH from 8 to 9
Either way we are ending our day (or maybe not if we decide to MK it) at the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show . It is an all-you-care-to-eat, family-style luau featuring hula dancing and a fire-knife performer at Disney's Polynesian Resort

Love your breakfast of champions! :lmao: Gummy bears - aren't they one of the major food groups? :confused3

Your daughters are adorable. Lovely pictures.

All your plans look great so far!

Oh - and congrats on the V&A reservation. My DH said we can go on our 50th anniversary. We'll be 80 then. :sad2:

Oh - and congrats on the V&A reservation. My DH said we can go on our 50th anniversary. We'll be 80 then. :sad2:

You just have to confince your DH that you have to go to V&A sooner than your 50th. I think that is the one place that I have never read a bad review of. And talking to my girls Brownie troop leader who did it years agao, her and her DH loved it. Could not get over how great it was.
I'm excited but can't wait for this trip first.

Day 4:
This is our Hollywood Studios day. We have a 1:25 ADR at Brown Derby (fantasmic package). I don't think we have seen fantasmic since our trip in March 08 on the trip that kind of sealed our buying DVC after seeing a Hilton Grand Vacation timeshare presentation, and then booking a trip staying at Poly. We wound up buying DVC and canceling our Poly trip.
I'm planning on going to Staring Rolls and having cupcakes for breakfast. We have never eaten at Storing Rolls.
I'm figuring we will do popcorn and something else using snack credits for dinner.

FIL and T decided to go on a short cruise before meeting up with us, so they are going to be staying at SSR this night. I would not be surprised if they wind up meeting us this night.

I know my girls want to see the Indian Jones Stunt show. We have not seen it in years. I think they want to go on TOT, and RRC.

Day 5: changing resort day
This is the day we check out of WL and check into the treehouses. FIL said he will meet us at WL in the morning and move our stuff. Right now our only plans this day involve food.
We had booked breakfast at Whispering Canyon Café at 8am, but that is early, and when FIL and T told us they where going to meet us for breakfast we moved it to 9:30.
Then we have the tea at Grand Floridian booked. It will be most of our 3rd time going, but DD#2 's 2nd. She did the Mad Hatter tea one year while the rest of us did the tea. DD #1was supposed to do the Mad Hatter tea but at the last minute changed her mind. Here is some pictures from 10/09's trip

We are ending the day with HDDR the 9:30 show. DD #2 is excited for the strawberry short cake.

Wait that is what I'm excited about not the shortcake. Here is the shortcake.

I'm hoping we don't have any issue with the tickets. If you remember we are on Deluxe dining for the first part of the trip. I think I mentioned that. Between HDDR, SOA, CH, CP and CRT, we just have to spend about 100 per adult/child at California Grill, Brown Derby and snacks to make the dining plan pay. Some how I don't think that will be a problem.
Any way we had HDDR booked before FIL and T decided to join us at the treehouse. We called to add them , but since we had dining plan and they are paying for this meal, the CM added them but we still have to pay for their tickets (well FIL does not us).

Assume we don't skip any meals FIL will pay for whispering Canyon using his TIW card. If FIL wasn't joining us with a TIW card, DH and I might have gotten a TIW card. But I think if my disney math is right, just getting it for V&A is a wash if we are not going to be using it during the trip. If by December we know we are going to disney in the year we will just get one.

Great pretrip report so far; couldn't ask for any thing more (except maybe a proofreader) :rotfl2: All we have to do now is pack.

I always laugh when people don't want to bring their young kids to WDW because they're too young to remember anything, since many of us grown-ups can't remember our trips too well either! Seeing those pictures makes it all worth it. I can't beleive how white Annie's (stuffed zebra) fur used to be. That must be one of her first trips before she became a world traveller.

I didn't realize how dingy Annie the zebra looks compared to those pictures. We might have to take a new picture of Annie with her tea cup hat. Yep DD #1 wants to bring Annie again.
We are mostly packed. Just need to finish packing our carry ons.

I'm pretty sure we are going to Epcot today. This might be our first time going to Epcot this trip.
Right now we have a lunch booked at San Angel's Inn at 1:30. Would you believe that even though we love Mexican Food, we have never eaten here. How crazy is that!
Then we have a dinner at 6:30 at Restaurant Marakkesh. DH has eaten here when he went to WDW on a work trip, but I never have.

Of course since FIL will be with us, we could wind up going off property to eat instead. Or this could be the day we get the kitchen sink. Or maybe try the big sunday at the dophin. When DH was telling FIL about it, FIL said he wanted to try both.

Hollywood Studios

We are going back to HS today. We have lunch booked at 50's Prime time. That was the first and only TS I ate at in my first trip to WDW. I don't really remember anything about it, but think my girls will love it.

If we didn't go to Indian Jone's stunt show, we will do it this day. Or maybe the jedi training.

We have a dinner booked at Paradiso 37 at 6:30. If I know DH, he will want to start with Queso Fundido.

We don't have any real plans for the last day. We do have a breakfast ADR at Kona.
Our flight is at 4:30 pm ish. I'm figuring a 1:30 ME pick up, so i'm thinking we won't be going to a park this day.
DH and I have AP but the girls only have 6 day tickets. If we don't do a resort day in the middle of the trip, we will have to add a day on to their tickets. I know if the girls have their way, we will spend a day at a water park. But DH and I are thinking that is better on a trip when we don't have APs.

MIL is driving us to the airport. Or I should say DH is driving us in MIL's car to the airport and she is driving home and picking us up for DH to drive us home after our trip. I stopped at the store to get coffee creamer so I can have coffee the morning after we get home. DH and the girls get to sleep in while I get to go back to work. I don't know how crazy my day is going to be but as of know our plan is MIL will go with DH and the girls to Jones beach for the concert. I will drive MIL's car to the concert and some how find them tailgating in parking lot. Hopefully both BILs will have already found them as well. After the concert MIL can just drive home, while one of BILs and his wife spend the night at our house. Not sure what other BILs and his girlfriend are thinking of doing. GF's mom and stepdad are also going to the concert.
I'm working Friday as well.
