Where ever you have visited in Orlando, who has gone that extra mile for you to make your stay extra special?

Last time we visited, we were waiting for a medical shipment for my son, there was a problem at US customs and the VIP manager at the HRH sent out all his security staff to the three universal hotels, to the restaurants, to city walk just so he could get a photocopy of my son's passport. They never did find us that day, but he still managed to get the shipment through the next day. That was hugely impressive.

I won't even mention the new toys the HRH management gave my kids, that required a new suitcase to get home.

Not quite in the same league, but during our holiday in April, we visited Olive Gardens on I-Drive. Our main course was cold when it arrived, and we asked for it to be reheated.

However, the manageress was having none of this - she insisted that we have a freshly cooked meal each, and when we asked for the bill, we were told that the meal was on the house as we had been so understanding about it!! She even came over to see us just as we were leaving and thanked us for allowing them to put things right!!

Top marks to Olive Gardens for their Customer Service. :)

Mine can't compare to yours Kevin. But to me the happy birthdays received by Cast Members and guests while I was there last year really made my day, the cup cakes I received and free deserts where great as was getting our own boats on pirates and IASW but it was the comments and kind words from everyone that made my day.

we have had several really

all the great things from our wedding trip and all the cupcakes etc and painted plates

we also got a free meal at chilis for waiting so long! we didnt even think we had waited long but the manager came over and told us it was free. fantastic

we also got great fastpasses free at islands of adventure last year as my sister had a face like thunder! she was 12 and that really cheered her up

Can't ever imagine this happening in the UK with any restaurant.

We had Annivesary badges on last year and just the sheer volume of cast members wishing us a happy anniversary was so nice, we went to Hollywood & Vine for lunch and they brought out a plate with a chocolate covered strawberry on and 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate, so unexpected.

But, Elaine from California Grill was a star. She had sprinkled the table liberally with confetti castles for our anniversary and was really good with the kids. My daughter decided to lean back on the chair and fell plum on her backside, Elaine was such a doll, she gave said embarrassed daughter more confetti in a little envelope, some colouring in sheets and California Grill postcards.

She was a real gem and I hope she's there next year.
