After reading Tiffany's post about married more than 10 years, I wondered how many of us spent their honeymoon in WDW.

We did in 1984, at the Contemporary.

I did, in November 2002! We stayed @ POFQ for 5 nights and loved every minute of it.

We had gone to WDW in 2001 when we were engaged and both became Disney Obsessed (especially me) after that trip. When we got home we decided we would definitely have our honeymoon there.

We wore the Mickey and Minnie bride and groom hats and were congratulated over and over by guests and cast members.

I have great memories from that trip!!

We did! Contemporary 1996! :) The best 2 weeks of my life (2 days with my family at my parents shore house, the wedding, the day after packing up and unwrapping gifts, 6 days in WDW and coming home a continuing the honeymoon for a few days before going back to work).

We have tried to celebrate our anniversary every year at WDW, but unfortunately for the past few year, due to financial problems (aka Unemployment), we haven't been able to. I'm hoping to return to the tradition soon though!

Our honeymoon was in 1983 - in a Fort Wilderness home (one of the old Fleetwood trailers).

Us. We were married in October 1993 (10th anniversary is coming up soon!), but couldn't go on our honeymoon until the following spring - our first trip together - March 1994.

We did! December 1997 (offsite :( ). You can read about our trip in the thread about honeymoons from "you know where". The disney part was great, though!

January 2000, Wilderness Lodge for us! :) Still the best WDW trip we ever had, though we've had some great ones since. :)

We didn't actually spend our honeymoon (1988) on site, but spent a week at a hotel off site and driving to WDW.

July 1995, 4 night cruise on the Big Red Boat then 5 nights at the Poly! Our last night, Aug 1, was when Hurricane Erin hit.

Well, I guess I'm the veteran so far. We spent our honeymoon in WDW back in 1981. We didn't stay on site, though, and had a terrible hotel -- Sheraton Lakeside Inn. I can't begin to tell you how awful it was there.

But it was wonderful at WDW -- just the Magic Kingdom -- no EPCOT, no MGM Studios, no Animal Kingdom. And the only water park was River Country.

I had been to WDW before (with my 1st husband) and now it was my DH's first time and he was like a little boy -- all eyes wide and mouth open!

We've been addicted ever since...

We honeymooned at the BWI October 1997. A fantastic honeymoon!!!

We had a delayed honeymoon (Sept 2000) at the French Quarter... could not have asked for anything more!!!!!

we did!! ASMu sept 2002!!

we had a fabulous time too!!

we did at the beach club in 2001.

(we got married there too :teeth: )

We did!

October 2000 at the Poly for 1 week! It was a great trip! :)

We did also!!! 1987 off-site...too poor to stay on-site. We enjoy Magic Kingdom and EPCOT...they were building MGM. That was a very memorable time!!! ;)

YAY....we're the most recent so far...

June 2003 at the Wilderness Lodge for 10 magical days. The whole trip was wonderful and amazing.

10 nights at Port Orleans Riverside (will still always be Dixie Landings to us) in 2001..this was the third trip to WDW for me..and first for my husband..he became a "convert" immediately!

We did Aug. 1989, off-site. It was the summer MGM opened.

We honeymooned for a week at Port Orleans (now POFQ) after a few days in Captiva. Captiva was beautiful, but we could not wait to get to WDW.

We did not even consider any other place for our honeymoon. My brother and his wife honeymooned in The World a few years before we did, and our cousins are heading there next week to renew their vows.

Our November trip this year will be a late celebration of our fifth anniversary. Disney World is for lovers!
