Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

What a sweet story about Chase -- hopefully those first few days were the worst difficulty he'll ever have to face. My mom was sick when both my brother and I were born and she couldn't hold either of us for the first week or so. I held Steve before she did - hard to imagine now that he's 6'4"!

Well I survived our Christmas Eve last-minute hosting, and it was pretty nice! We got off to a rocky start, with DB and his GF arriving late and the girls being crabby and my parents sniping at everyone, but after church and dinner it was much better. Maybe because the kids were too busy opening presents to crab at each other?

The last present was the calendar with the Disney trip written in it. Lyzzie saw the "open me" sticker on the front right away, and accidentally opened to Feb where it says, " Home from Disney World" on the 1st - she nearly tore the page out getting back to January! Emma didn't get it, so I said, "We're going to Disney World! That was your last present!" and she started frantically looking around the living room, saying, "Where is it? I don't see Disney World?!" It was too cute.

My mom bought all of the "kids" (the girls, me, and DB/GF) paddle balls. Y'know, the paddle with an elastic string and a ball on the end. They were the first things opened and a HUGE hit! Tomorrow I'll post some pictures that are too hilarious of everyone playing with them. I think Dad kind of wanted one too, he kept taking my Barbie one.

And most importantly and most exciting of all...

..

...

I GOT A NEW CELLPHONE!! One with a slide-out full keyboard for texting, just like I wanted! And it's an MP3 player too. VERY cool. I can't wait to activate it! I have to take it to the Sprint store so they can transfer all my stuff, but I think I can activate it tomorrow over the phone. It looks like this one:
sprint-rumor.jpg

Dad had a little fun and preloaded it with a scary closeup picture of himself.

Well the girls are silent, so I have to check on them and then go play Santa. I still need to clear my data out of Lyzzie's DS games and wrap them, and wrap up the Bon Jovi tickets too. And of course I have to eat Santa's cookies and milk, and leave a nice note for the girls.

Hope everyone's having a GREAT holiday!

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a busy weekend, then I had to work yesterday (Christmas Eve day). I normally work 7-3, but we closed at two for the Holiday, so I got one whole extra hour!!!!!:cool1: :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I then met my parents for a late lunch/early dinner. I headed back to my house after this and went to Mass, then home for a nap on the sofa. I just woke up and wrapped a couple of more gifts. I love sitting here with the tree lit. I think my mom was disappointed that I didn't stay over at their house, but I just wanted to be at my own home for once. I need to stop feeling guilty because I'm the single/no children one. My sister and family are over at her in-laws in order to spend most of Christmas Day with us at my aunt's.

We had a nice day Saturday------my mom, sister and niece came over and we met my dad and nephew (they were at the slot-car track) for pizza. My dad then went to the hospital (my grandma is back in with a highly contagious flu-like thingy-------I am banned from going because of the immune system-----but my dad makes me nervous, because he has an immune condition too, so he has to mask and gown up:sad2: ). From the pizza place, my mom, sis, the kids and I went to Macy's downtown to see the windows. This is the first year that they have done it in a long time and they are gorgeous!!!! My niece insisted on a sleepover and at first my nephew wanted to stay too, until he realized momma wasn't staying, so it was just Isabella. I pulled out the sofabed and had a slumber party with hot cocoa and Christmas movies in the living room.

Anyway, sorry, got a little windy there.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I think I need to get some real sleep. I have to bake a bit in the morning, then head over to my parents' to open gifts and then off to my aunt's. I am in charge of salads. At first, I was disappointed that I wasn't in charge of desserts, but I know I would not have found the time with work, etc.

Oh, and my niece took Baby Jesus out of the crib from my Nativity on Saturday because she said He shouldn't be in there yet due to Him not being born yet, so I needed to try to remember where she hid Him. At first she put Him under the tree skirt, but was afraid I'd vaccuum Him up.:confused3 :lmao:

night everyone (or good morning)

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHASE!!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone! Although I know no one is up at this unGodly hour but me.... just home from our Christmas Eve service.

Lyzziesmom - hooray for the new phone!! I thinks it's cute, the girls' excitement with the calendar - well, Lyzzies, anyway.

Good Morning and Merry Christmas to my wonderful Cliqueless friends!!

We have already had a wonderful Christmas morning here in the pozey household!!! The kids were excited and they loved everything that Santa brought!!

When Courtney found out that she still has a couple of gifts yet to open when we go to their grandparent's house later, she exclaimed....."You mean it's STILL CHRISTMAS!!??" :rotfl2:

Now we are watching the Walt Disney World Parade on TV.

Good morning, pozey!!

I'm glad the kids are excited and Miss Courtney still has some Christmas to enjoy!!!princess:
Nathan was happy with everything he got, but all those expensive things he wanted didn't look like much to me. Oh, well, what can you do?

I need to get motivated, today is our big dinner at my mother's house. I have some cooking to do!!

Have a great day everyone and I'll talk to you later!!!:santa:

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL CLIQUERS !!!

The ham is in the oven, all of the vegetables are ready to go, the desserts are made and snacks for later are packed up. Steve had to work last night, so he is still sleeping. I went over to Michele's this morning to watch Lilly get some of her gifts. (She really only wanted the boxes of course)!

I am waiting for David and Lesa and the girls to arrive. Then Steve will wake up and we will all join Mike and Sandy and their girls at Michele's for dinner and gift exchange. Then we will all relax and play games and talk.

I sincerely hope that you are all surrounded by those you love today.
Have a wonderful Christmas. Maureen

( I don't know how to put an image in so imagine something pretty)

Merry Christmas to all my Cliqueless Friends!

2x2s: What a sweet sleepover, I bet Isabella had a really fun time. Have a good time with your family and spoil those kiddos rotten while they're here -- somehow I know you will. :goodvibes Hope you find baby Jesus! I have heard of people who leave Him out of the nativity until Christmas Day, but we never did. Our nativity currently includes the usual suspects, plus a tiny dog and a big red plastic penguin. I have no idea why, but I think he's there to stay. Yesterday in church they did a little nativity play, and when the angel came around Emma said, "Is that Gloria?" She also really liked the Gloria song... y'know where she's in a celsius day-o. :lmao:

What a beautiful picture! It really is worth a thousand words.

Merry Christmas to some of the most wonderful FRIENDS a person could as for!!!!!

Awww, thank you pozey. Right back atcha! I hope all is well with you and your family. And tell Courtney - yes, it's STILL Christmas! We took a break this morning and went sledding at the park. When we came back, Emma didn't want to open any more presents. Whose child is this anyway?

Linda's family...

Oh I hope they don't have too many presents to open that early!! I wish I were there with every one of them.

Which reminds me... I completely forgot to schedule the Christmas call from Mickey! D'oh! We also forgot to watch the WDW parade this morning.

Was Santa good to everyone? Lyzzie kept shouting, "I'm making out like a bandit this year!" and "I must be Santa's favorite!" It was SO cute. Emma is just wandering from one thing to the next, she really doesn't know what to think of it all.

Oh, and any doubts that Lyzzie was having about Santa were completely erased this morning at 6:03am. :santa:

Good evening everyone!!

Hope everyone is having a quiet, relaxing night!!

We are sitting here watching "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl".

Courts is already asleep. I could go at any minute....:)

Here are some pics of a house close to where I live-

There is a house in Tulsa that is similar. Every square inch of house and yard is covered. The guy in Tulsa does it to honor his daughter who died a few years ago.
