The reason for my confusion is; I thought this was the night for YM and Linda's Illuminations Cruise. Evidentally it was Wednesday evening. Ooops.


Well, not much going on with me today. I need to straighten up the house, do a little cleaning and laundry. Last week at this time we were about ready to land at MCO!

When Linda sent a text a couple days ago, she said the crowds were not that bad. Hopefully they are still having good luck with the crowds!!

I almost had to laugh; last Saturday when Nathan and I were at the MK a little que line had been set up on the TTA. I remarked to the young CM about having NEVER seen a que line before. He was very proud when he announced it was the third time that day they had to set up the que!! Kind of like, now he was part of an important ride.

This was my very first trip during the holidays!! It was very special and wouldn't have traded it for anything! Nathan even hugged me and thanked me for the trip. Gary said he just knows how to smooze up!!

A tower of waffles! How decadent. I had one stinkin' Wildberry Daiquiri with dinner last night and feel like crud this morning - it's either a little hangover or the beginning of the flu. (I never thought I'd say this, but I'm hoping for a hangover!) I haven't worked up an appetite yet this morning, but if I had a waffle tower that might change things.

Lyzziesmom- it sounds like you need to get some rest! Hope you had a good evening with just you and Emma (and XBF) and were able to get some 'down' time.

It WAS a nice evening! We stayed out late ('til ten o'clock!) and after posting here I went straight off to bed. I wanted to get my wrapping done, but oops that didn't happen. When I woke up this morning I had the cats pressed up against my back -- then I turned over and it was not the cats, it was EMMA! Sometime very early in the morning she had snuck into my bed and went back to sleep. It was very sweet and a lovely way to start the day.

XBF wants to go see Sweeney Todd today if I can get Mom to babysit for a couple hours. For once we actually want to see the same movie! And we may do something for NYE too -- but no daiquiris for me.

It sounds like they all have great days planned. This just reminded me... the GF photoshoot would be a GREAT thing for me to do with the girls! Does anyone remember what the deal is on booking it? Isn't it free if you preorder the Photopass CD or something?

Erin and a friend went and saw Sweeney Todd yesterday - she REALLY liked it - but a word of warning, she said it is VERY bloody. (of course, he is the Demon barber of (London?)... ) I thought about all you guys the other night when I was changing the sheets on her bed for her grandpa to sleep in - she STILL has a GQ magazine cover (about 4 years ago?) with Johnny Depp up on her bulletin board. Hope I didn't drool to much on her carpet.

Didn't do too much today. I did have to venture to the grocery store to get some grub and hurried home as fast as I could.

I did stop by the video store to look for UnderDog, but alas, there were none.

Just took a frozen pizza out of the oven and going to find a movie to watch.

evenin' pozey. Hello everyone! Wow - quiet day and night around here tonight.

Today DH cooked BBQ all day for a surprise homecoming party that was for my nephew this evening. His in-laws hosted it and we had to fix his favorite food - his uncle's BBQ! It was nice, but we didn't stay late. Kind of snowy and icy out there this evening.

Whoa, what kind of bizarro world is this where I'm the first one awake?

Our power flashed off yesterday, not even long enough to reset the clocks but it messed up my computer a little bit. Got it fixed up this morning though, it was just having communication issues with the router. (Hey, I almost sound like I know what I'm talking about there!)

I did not get to go to the movies yesterday. However I did get all my Christmas wrapping done, except for the DS stuff for Lyzzie. I want to keep playing it as long as possible! Definitely going to have to get one for myself too. The kids were very impressed that one gift box is as big as Emma -- and I wrapped ribbon around it that I got from TDS, it's gold with little gold Mickey heads on it. It's driving them crazy! That's the one that has a few little Disney-themed items, plus the calendar marked with our upcoming trip.

I had all kinds of weird Disney dreams last night. We went to a hotel and from the window we could see the cars from LMA (which I don't even like very much!) flying over a lake. And I kept trying to text Linda to tell her we were there and wanted to meet up, but for some reason I couldn't get the texting to work. I always have problems with phones in my dreams -- I can never dial them but this was my first encounter with dream-texting!
