Okay, I'm back--sorry about the little detour. I'm not. Sorry.



Ashley---oooh, another bad night?? Do you always sleep with the eye mask?? I'm wondering if you would sleep without it if it would make a difference. Do you eat right before bed?? Sometimes if you do this you will have crazy dreams. Just wondering.

Pozey and Ash--that is wierd--I used to do something like this when I was a little girl. I don't remember how old I was, will have to ask my mom, maybe 6-7?? Anyway, I used to wake up in the middle of the night, sit up and scream "MOOMMMM!!!!" She would run in and she said I would just look at her as if nothing was wrong. She would ask, "what's wrong mystery non- cliquer" and I would just sit there. I would go back to sleep, but the cycle continued for quite awhile. Then one time, (at band camp--sorry, couldn't resist), I woke up and ran down the hallway and sat on the sofa. My mom was there--wasn't very late and she said I just sat there. She put me back to bed and I fell asleep.???? I guess I just grew out of this phase.

Hey everyone, I'm writing this between the 3 minutes that I have until my pasta is done!!>..

Wait, now my bread is burnt

ANYWAY- I booked my flight for tomorrow, I'm going to Florida!! My flight leaves at 8:25 am, so I'm running around looking like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to get things done. Plus I'm having major anxiety because #1 I hate to fly and #2 There were no aisle seats left, so I got a window. I HATE THE WINDOW. I get majorly clausterphobic and I just know I'm going to have some huge panic attack on the plane.

So please send some pixie dust. DH is flying down Friday, with Ruby and I have to be without her for 2 whole days Then on Saturday, we're driving the new car up!!! Here's hoping shes not a holy terror for the car ride.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Marlins game too! So if you watch it, look for me sitting behind home plate!

I think I'll check in on my mom's computer while she's at work during the day, but I hope you guys have a great rest of the week!

NOw I have to go pack mine and DH's stuff, lets hope I don't forget his boxers like I did last trip!!

Hey Ash--

yay for Florida. I know what you mean about being claustrophobic. I have discovered the IPOD now though, so a window seat isn't out of the question anymore. It relaxes me. I will, refuse, however, to sit in the middle between two people. I once sat in between two people who were co-workers. (of themselves, not me--I was the odd woman out). Anyway, they kept passing things back and forth--"do you have a pen??" etc. I kept looking at them disgusted, and asked them several times if one of them wanted to switch seats with me. "NO, I work with him, don't need to sit next to him." UMM, yeah, how about some respect for me. This was before I got my new attitude--now I would INSIST they move--not even leave it up to them.

Have a good and safe trip and have fun visiting with your mom!!!

Ashley, good luck on your flight! Maybe you'll get lucky and the person in the aisle seat will really have wanted the window. Me, I love flying. We used to fly a lot when I was a kid, and I still get the same sense of adventure. But I'm just weird like that, because I also really enjoy airports. Long layovers don't bother me a bit, unless I'm really itching to get somewhere. I just try to enjoy the trip as much as the destination. Now a long drive in an iffy car with an antsy pup.... no thank you!

When we moved from FL to KS we drove up... my dad & brother & mom's 2 cats in one car and me, my crazy mom, Lyzzie (who was 2) and my lovely cat in the other. The boys left the day after we did & drove straight through, and we all got there about the same time. It was nuts. Then several months later, Dad, Lyzzie & I did the same trip in reverse because my mom flew to FL to be with my brother, who was in college & just diagnosed with leukemia and we brought her the car. Whew, did you get all that? Anyway... I'd much rather fly.

Linda... I can sympathize with your DH. I'm sure my troubles are nowhere near as bothersome as his, but I have ongoing health issues with the nerves in my elbow and spine/hip. Basically my whole left side is toast. I've been through several rounds of PT (physical therapy, that is) and cortisone injections to no avail. Ugh. To make things worse, I don't respond properly to pain meds. I can take a lot more than the usual dosage and still no relief. High tolerance to meds + low tolerance for pain = many uncomfortable moments. It's embarassing to go to the dr. too, because I basically have to tell them my butt hurts when I sit on it. And walk. And lie down. Ugh.

Linda again... it's nice to hear the lasik is good! I have had 3 eye dr's recommend it for me, but I just can't seem to find the money. I'm holding out hope that insurance will cover it one day. Last time I asked, my vision was 20/400 in my good eye. And that was when I was in college. Yipes!

Well just like Ashley, I must tend to my pasta.

I'm sorry to hear of your health issues too. Seems to be we are somewhat of an unhealthy non-clique group. Well, our attitudes and spirits are high, at least. I know you have mentioned your brother in the past, how is he doing?? You can PM me if you don't want to share publicly, or if you don't want to share at all, that's okay too. I understand.

Hey lyzziesmom...now that you out in the open about your left side pain...do they know what is causing it? I know I've already whined sufficiently but my left side neck, arm, and hip (today mostly my hip...ouchy moma) I won't even go into my ankle and achilles trouble...I think that's a seperate issue. oh...congrats on 400

how exciting at the potential for decreasing you work hours...I've always felt a little sad that you have to be away from you little guy for 12 hours a day....is that five days a week. if I get a vote...i would vote for the part-time with the job that you like and get paid well for.

2excitd....you took my three hour nap and had my strange dream today. I did fall asleep on the couch for about 20 mintues...that's about all I will admit too since I am supposed to be watching my kids. Now if DH is home three hour naps rock...I'm a sleeper...well except from 10pm to 12am.
