Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

Oh, man - co-workers! We used to have a receptionist that sounds exactly like Amber described. In fact, when I first started reading it I thought - it's GOTTA be! She used to love to get in the middle of everybody's business and get her co-workers in trouble, too, if they didn't do something that she 'thought' they should do.

Amber and Lyzziesmom, you both have my sympathy! Being the non-cliquey person that I am, I try and stay out of the workplace drama - but Lyzziesmom, in your case, the drama is following you around! So sorry. feel free to co-worker vent any time.

Pozey - DD's DBF is in Woodland Hills III.

Linda - your rental sounds like a great price! Our housing prices are great here, but that's a steal even for my area. If the utilites are reasonable, I think I'm moving to Ohio! (Except that Lyzziesmom needs that place for her and her girls)

Back to work for me, having to learn a new software for my industry and I'm :badpc: :crazy2: .

Linda - I actually haven't gotten around to searching for those pictures yet. I need to find the card first. I will probably work on it on the weekend when I have more time.

DznyFan... you're more than welcome to come anytime:)!!! In the 9 years I've had it...I've only had a "for rent" sign in the yard for a few days and it's gone. I think I should raise the rent...but maybe next year. When I got it 9 years ago I charged $460 so I think it's due an increase...but I'm not too worried about it. The guy on the one side is a single dad...he is a mortitian so I'm sure he's got the $$$ but...oh well. My mom rents the other side and I only charge her $450 b/c she can't afford much more.

Nicole...I know what you mean I have about 6 memory cards and I don't have a clue where 1/2 of them are :rolleyes1 oops! I didn't want you to think I forgot about ya. I'm curious to see if you get them back. That would make my weekend! I'll be praying for ya. I know you went back and got more...but to have the originals to show your sister would be so cool!

take care guys and have a great evening!!

This is a picture of my boys at coco beach in March!

Good evening everyone!!!

YourMajesty: Your DSs' are very handsome!! How old are they? I have a DS7.

KristiKelly: You are always welcome here!!!! Haven't had time to Dis with a new baby!!?? Those little bundles of joy do require a lot of love and attention!! :sunny:

Lyzziesmom: Sorry the house you were so hopeful about turned out to be a dud. When we were house hunting it always amazed me how the houses could look on the inside. And yes, it took us about 3 years to make a decision about a new home. We would come back from looking at a house and think our house didn't look so bad after all. Hang in there, things will work out for ya'!!!

Pozey: What a beautiful DD you have. those big brown eyes are adorable. You guys are pretty darned cute, too!!

Bye for now!!!! :moped:

UGHH!! :faint: I have just had the day from hadeeeesssss! I've been running around all day doing errands. I locked my keys in the house first thing this morning but I used the spare key we keep under the vehicle in one of those lock boxes (because I'm always locking the keys in the car) to be at my morning appointment. When I came home and it was close to 100 degrees DH was trying to talk me/walk me through jimmeying the lock w/ a credit which 20 minutes later, and sweat litterally pouring off my brow, while I kneeled at the backdoor because I was too embarrased for the neighbors who were in their pool to see me and I was whispering to DH (who couldn't hear me) because I didn't want the neighbors to hear me because I was embarrassed I STILL didn't get in!!! I walked all around the house trying to find an open window because if I could have found one I would have hoisted my big butt through one. But noooooo. I'm the nutcase who insists that NO windows be left unlocked EVER. I finally hung up on DH at one point because I was boiling in the sun and my blood pressure was boiling in my veins and I couldn't stand to hear his voice one more second. :furious: How horrible is that? Anyway, he calls me back. . . I'm still on my knees furiously trying to jam that darn card in the door so I answer the phone and he says something like, "I think we were disconnected." So, I got up calmly and quietly (at least it would have appeared that way) and walked around to my car because remember the neighbors were in their yard and I got in the car and with the windows wound up, I let him have it by telling him I HUNG up on him because he's not helping the already tense situation. I also let a few other not so nice words fly. Yes, I admit, I was acting like an irrational nut. I do realize it was not his fault that I had locked myself out but I was on a tight schedule (as I had another place I had to be but I needed to take stuff that was in the house or else it was pointless to go) and it was hot out and I just lost it. Hey, I don't have red hair for nothin.

Anyway, I ended up having to go to my sister's job grabbing my house key from her and driving back home so that I could get in the shower (because by this point I was just gross) grab my stuff for my next appointment and be on my way...late.

OOHH, I'm so glad to just be home and to be getting ready for bed.

Oh, and I did apologize to DH. He said no problem that he understood with how hot the heat was today it was no wonder.

In other news, the pictures of everybody look gggrreeaatt! :thumbsup2

lyzziesmom, so glad to hear that little Emma is ok. :)

Thanks guys for letting me vent that out. Hope it doesn't make me sound to crazy. I really am a nice person and I don't make it a habit to yell at poor DH but I clearly wasn't doing well under that type of pressure.

It looks like everyone has been busy and hot. :sunny: I'm trying another picture...hopefully it will come out smaller. I'll be back for some chatting tomorrow.

I'm still up. :teeth:

Lyzziesmom: Glad Emma was ok...how scary. Hope your boss comes back soon...hang in there.

Linda: Did you say another cruise. :teeth: Lucky! Hey I need some help with my pictures. :confused3

 Pozey and Dznyfan: great pictures...man was it hot or what. :sunny: :sunny:

helloktiy: do we need to speak to your DH about him hogging the computer. :rolleyes1

Amber: work is crazy...what is wrong with people. :confused3 My job is great minus a few crazy co-workers. (well the pay is bad too.)

 Kristikelly: drop by again sometime and tell us about you new little one.

April: :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes You poor thing...I started sweating while you were telling your story. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little less stressful.

Well, we had DS's birthday party last night. It went well (although is was hot) until near the end. One of the kiddos (7) had an accident (from a rumbly stomach) and it turned into a clean-up nightmare in a bathroom that 120 degrees. I'm a known germaphobe(especially bathrooms) :faint:  :scared: ....lets just leave it at that.

2xcitd: where are you??? :hyper2: are you reading??

Good morning!!! It's me, that annoying coffee-making morning person!!!

April: :grouphug: over your house key incident!!! I think most of the U.S. was an oven yesterday! There is really one nice thing about days like that---we're sooo glad when they're over!!! :sunny:

For our friends who are having problems with your co-workers, here is some pixiedust: that they will retire or transfer!!!! I work with my Mom and Sister-enough said!!!

2xcited2slp: Yeah, where have you been!!!! We miss you!!

YourMajesty: I think your pic-posting skills are excellent!! That last pic was too cute!!!

Going to go lurk for awhile :tiptoe: and HAPPY THURSDAY(the next best thing to Friday!!!)

good morning guys :)

:grouphug: so sorry you had a tough day yesterday April! I can't blame you...it was SOOO hot!!! We have an attached garage and leave a key hidden in a tool box, just in case! The other day our neighbor across the street locked herself out as well, so she just came over and hung out w/us until her dh got home. She's in her 60's and a total sweetheart!! She was never able to have children so she loves to come and see ds5  She spoils him rotten. Actually dh and ds5 went over to their house yesterday swimming. They're great! Glad your evening was better. After working and being gone 12 hrs. a day most of the time I am just so glad to get home and relax!!!!

YourMajesty... your pix look great!! I'll help w/anything I can..what do you need help w/? Yeah.... I'm ALWAYS ready for a cruise!!! DH's best friend is a pilot for Continental Airlines...he gets incredible prices on the cruise. He sent me their website of perks... basically vacations that are about 1/2 price :woohoo: A lot of the places we can go as "friends" and pay $10-$40 more than his price...but Disney he has to travel w/us to get it....so we're trying to see when all of us could go. We were planning Hawaii for next year...but maybe we'll be able to squeak in both?? :) If I quit my job and go to nursing school so I don't have to drive 75 miles one way to a decent job..I'll have to get these vacations in before I start school!! DH just retired from the military so we won't get his active duty military discount for the cruise anymore... darn it! We actually never used it anyway..but at least we'll be able to stay at SOG still. I've got to talk him into at least having a vacation home in FL for the resident discount!!Your ds's are adorable!!! We got married just south of Cocoa! At the state park Lori Nat. park or something?

have a great day guys!!

Good Morning!

April- I've locked myself out of my car a few times! It's a horrible feeling, even more so when it's hot out. Now what I do is keep a spare house and car key in the zipper part of my purse and NEVER use it (so I don't accidentally take it out and forget to put it back) so if I do anything like that again I don't have to worry. Well unless I lock my purse in the car!

Linda- I'm so jealous that you are able to get good prices on vacations! ;) I have never been on a cruise before. Actually after seeing 'Inside Edition' I don't know if I want to go on a cruise anymore! I saw one of their episodes where they were undercover on a cruise ship and it was so crazy! Have you ever seen anything like that before? But I would love to go on a Disney cruise!

How cool. I live in Woodland Hills II :thumbsup2

I cannot believe how HOT it has been here the last few days. I think the "official" high temp yesterday was something like 101 or 102 degrees, however the "official" temperature is taken in the shade. The temperature guage in my truck said 106 - at that was at 6:30 p.m. while I was taking my 2 boys to swim team practice. After practice, on the way home at 8:20 p.m., my temperature guage said 102 degrees!! At 8:20 p.m.!!

Here is hoping that everyone has a GREAT day today!

You guys aren't going to believe this. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao:

This morning I was awoke to the sound of my dog barking. So I got up to see what the commotion was and my sister (who has my key) was standing at my door just knocking and knocking and she said, "April, it's me. Open up." So I open the door and here she is dressed for work w/ little Buddy the dachshund on leash by her side.
And then she blurts out, "I've locked my keys in the house this morning when I took Buddy out." So of course I say, "You're kidding, right?" in disbelief because I had just done the same thing yesterday and had to go get my key from her! And she says, "No, I took the dog out this morning and I've been trying to call you!" So (still half asleep) I run to get my key for her. And she says, "No, I don't even have my car. I had my co-worker pick me up, I need you to take Buddy. You can either run him back to my house or keep him here with you." Anyway, I now have BuddyDoggie :dog: . He's so cute!! I wish I had a picture of him I could post for you all. I feel bad though because I must have been out to the world! I never heard the phone!! She said she had been outside since quarter to eight and she never got to my house until 8:30 when her co-worker picked her up. At least she had her cell phone in her pocket but such good that did, I didn't even hear my phone. :guilty:

Linda, How awesome about your pilot friend. DH has said on a few occasions that he thinks being a pilot would be a great job. I would love to take a cruise but we generally get one big vacation a year and we always go to Disney. So, if I had to pick between cruise and Disney, I always choose Disney.

Oh YourMajesty, how horrible about the stomach accident. 120 degree bathroom and a clean up? Yeah, I think that tops my being locked out episode. Blechhh!!

2xcitd, where are you? We miss you.

Has anyone seen Fantasia lately?

Well, on to another exciting day.
By the way, what kind of work do my fellow Cliqueless Cliquers do? Just curious. Am I nosey or what?

:bday: :cake: :bday: Happy Birthday dolphinrescuegirl!!!!

Hey there Nicole! I've never used any discounts yet, other than AAA or something like that...but now that I have his website and info... :woohoo: I'm ready to use it!!! I love to travel and go different places. I went on my first Disney Cruise when I was 23...and pregnant w/ds... I loved it from the first moment. I've watched some of those shows and couldn't imagine cruising on any other cruise line but now w/his prices...I might have to try some of them ;) Disney is just so awesome. The quality of everything is incredible. There is always something to do... there is something for everyone of all ages... everything is split... like the pools and beaches on their private island... pool for children only, families, and adult only. That way if you don't want to be around the kids... you don't have to! They tell you what characters will be where and when, they have autograph sessions so you can get all the autographs at once!! They have stuff for pin trading... you name it! One of our cruises was when Finding Nemo premiered...they showed it at midnight that night and several other times. It was great! They gave you special pins in your room. The towel animals are so cute... We let them know that we LOVE the chocolates they put on your pillow every night. They're supposed to give 1 per person per night... ha ha ha... they gave us several hand fulls! YUMMMM  There is nothing like laying in a hammock and them bringing you nice tropical drinks!!! I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! I could go on and on for hours about it. Literally!! I like it better than the parks!! The food.... is incredible!! You don't have the crowds, the lines and heat like at the parks. If you want to be in the a/c... or the sun... you're just a few minutes from whatever you want. Run back to your room to change or get something.... it is all right there! It is so awesome...so relaxing... and so much fun! Ok... I'm ready to go again. My ds5 has gone 3 times so far and he use to think that "vacation" meant a Disney cruise!!! Now last fall we went to Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore for 2 weeks and this year we went to WDW...so he's gotten out of that a little bit...but DCL is still the best! I'll post some pix when they're downloaded.. I'd eat ramen noodles everyday to go on more cruises!!! :cloud9:

ETA: April that is hilarious :rotfl2: you shouldn't feel so bad now:)!!!! Hi Buddy pluto: :)!!! I'd try a cruise for sure.... I've done a 7 night cruise then 3 days at WDW...that is PERFECT

Linda,
That sounds absolutely heavenly! I can just picture myself laying in a hammock and listening to the waves. Feeling the warm tropical breeze. . . Aaaahhh.

I am a Sr. Software Engineer for a technology company. I write software that we sell to hospitals to do their billing. You didn't say what you did April.

The cruise sounds wonderful. I don't know if I could tho, I am very afraid of water and dark. I am afraid I would never be able to go on deck at night. I would freak about being surrounded by the dark. Does anyone else have this problem or am I the only crazy one?

I am a Para-pro. I work in a Middle School with Spec. Ed kids. So I have summers off :cool1:
