A man held him back so he couldn't break anymore stuff. I think he might have had a mental disorder, because he kept on saying "muah, muah, muah.

Ugh, my eye keeps on twitching!!! It's been like this all day and is driving me crazy!
yikes...glad nothing serious happened w/that guy! oh, that twitching drives me crazy too!!
That is the only promising thing that came out of today.
good luck Lesa!!

Those are pictures of pictures she had taken at Glamor Shots. W wanted to have some Glamor Shots done of she and Courts.
they were just gorgous!!

You ordered it???? Oh, I am so jealous!! Have you gotten it yet??
not yet...probably Monday. I can't wait to get it!

Hey Linda... don't forget that the 50lb. weight limit is per bag.
yeah thanks! I printed all the regulations on carry ons, checking baggage, our car stuff, our flight stuff...I print it all:rotfl: just for reference so I don't forget:laughing: We'll be allowed plenty, but I don't want to haul a ton of stuff all over:rolleyes1
All the snow today finally put me into the holiday spirit and I started my goodie-making. I made marzipan Santa hats and I think they came out pretty cute.

My inspiration that I found online:

My end result:
Dec2007003.jpg

Emma was so disappointed that she couldn't eat any! The marzipan was really expensive and it only made 10, and I wanted to save them for Christmas.
Dec2007006.jpg
great pics! those are simply adorable!!! how do you make them? did you taste them? too awesome!
Those santa hats came out really cute!

Madison had me searching online for a Hanukkah song she learned in music today, only she couldn't remember the name or any of the words. We never did find it. Now she wants me to talk to her music teacher to find out what it is called. She wants to sing it for Christmas.
good luck findind out what song it is!
The only Hanukkah song I know is the dreidel song, and I only know one line!

Emma is constantly asking me to sing songs
she's so cute though:rotfl:
Hi everyone!

Ohh, I'm so mad right now!! Jeremiah & I decided we did want to get the Canon S5.
omg Ashley... that is terrible how they treated you! I'd be really upset too! I hope the letter gets somewhere!
Look how close up it gets!
great new camera!
After this crappy night this article made me happier!

Now maybe I can take Ruby to Disney World too!
that is too cool Ashley!
Ok...here's some pics of DS at his play tonight. It was called The North Pole Goes Rock and Roll.
GREAT pics YM!!! They look awesome!
"Hey you're in here all the time"
yeah, I'd say once a month is pretty often, more often than most. Mike is like that, he remembers faces easily...and talks to EVERYONE:rolleyes1 :rotfl:
Thank you!!
She was trying to tell me that they would lose money by not charging me the restocking fee
oh please!!!there is NO way!!!

Nicole, that is creepy! I've had my share of creepy salesmen, actually Jeremiah & I both have! Teenage girls always seem to remember him when we go to a store frequently. I'm sure he enjoys it though!! Me, I'm just creeped out by all the dorky guys that work at Best Buy
I bet Jeremiah just hates that:rotfl: the teens remembering him ;)

Well, he is!!! Just like Kenny
:lmao: yup!!!
Oh no...move over Kenny...there's a new kid in town. Ok...just kidding... Kenny could run circles about my 'dude'! They are going to have fun together when we meet up
they, we are all going to have a blast! Kenny loves having someone to play with!!! It is going to be great! I really can't wait:banana:
Good morning, Crew!!!

ICK!! We got sleet last night, just when Gary was taking Nathan to ball practice and I was heading out to do some grocery shopping!!! I decided we had enough food in the house, shut the garage door and went back into my warm cozy house
 I would have done the same thing! glad you stayed in!

apparently Snoop Dog did tomorrow's weather report, because it says, "Frz Drizzle."
:lmao: that's too funny!
The thing that upset me the most yesterday was being told they only did a quick screening on Madison and it showed she was at age level for everything. Did she not read the report from the teacher? Knowing Madison she didn't even talk much during the test, so how can she determine anything from a "quick" test?!?!?! Anyway, by the time this is all said and done, they"ll know who I am all the way to the state level.
omg a "quick" test...oh please!!! good luck Lesa... I'm praying that Maddie gets what she needs soon. These people are just ridiculous!
hi kiddies!!!

My grandma is hanging on in intensive care. My dad even said she ate something yesterday. Chicken broth and ice cream. We'll take that. Maybe a Christmas miracle is in the works. Thanks for all your prayers.

Linda----sounds like you may need a few of us to carry your bags. I'm sure you'd have NO problem convincing any of us stuck in the cold. I heard this morning that Orlando is 80 degrees. ahhhh!!!
give Kenny a hug from me.

just looked at the time----gotta hop in the shower. I am off this weekend, so if everything is all well, I will check in to chat more.
oh, I'd love a visit from any of you anytime!!! 80 does sound nice! Kenny got a huge smile and all happy when I gave him a hug from you:cloud9:

Enjoy your weekend off, hopefully we'll get to see ya! Prayers for you, your family and your grandma.
I had a doctor's appointment this morning. I gained weight  but I am still under my pre-pregnancy weight. I get to have more blood tests and I have another appointment in two weeks. She said everything looked good.

I hope everyone is having a great day!
nothing wrong w/gaining wait...esp. when you're pregnant ;) its good for him. Glad to hear all is well!!! Take care and get your rest!

She brings her report card home and darn it if she didn't get all A's & B's and is on the honor roll again! How can we teach her the importance of studying if she never has to and still is able to pull being on the honor roll.
 I was the same way. everyone learns different, but I know what you mean. Tell her congrats:cheer2:

P.S Why do I use so many smileys??!!
:rotfl: b/c they're so cute and so much fun to use! good luck w/the letter.

Not sure where Michele is....maybe her new found love....scrapbooking? I have not heard from her either!

or enjoying adorable Lilly!!!

well, we got another 4" of snow or so last night/today and I wasn't feeling like battling the roads for hours again, so I just stayed home today:rolleyes1  mostly sat around and watched movies...that is good every once in awhile I guess:laughing: Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!! Next week at this time we'll be arriving at MCO!!! I can't wait!!!

Ohhh staying at home watching movies is great. I don't get to do that nearly enough!

The marzipan hats were really easy, I just bought a tube of marzipan at the store. It was by the chocolate chips & baking stuff. It looks and feels like playdoh, and it's like a mini tube of cookie dough but about 1/4-1/3 the size. It was a little too hard so I kept popping it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up a little - one piece was in there too long and got a little burnt. Not good!

Anyway, I set about 1/4 of it aside and put some red food coloring in the rest. I rolled the white part out like cookie dough very thin and used the top of a spice jar to make circles, and made the scraps into little balls for the top of the hats. I made balls out of the red part and rolled one end a little smaller like a cone, then just pinched them at the end until they looked sort of like droopy Hershey kisses. Then I was really mad because I couldn't get all the pieces to stick together! So I made some frosting "glue" out of powdered sugar and water, I made it really thin and just dipped the bottom of the red hats into it and pressed them onto the white circles, then pushed the edges up around them. I poked little holes in the white balls and used the frosting to glue them on too. Then I took a paintbrush and painted frosting around the bottom edge and rolled it in white sprinkles, and dipped the tops into frosting & sprinkles too.

Whew, that sounds a lot harder than it really was! It was a lot of fun, well except for getting frustrated that they wouldn't stick together. I think next time I'll try almond paste instead of marzipan, it's the same but it has more almond and less sugar, so it's stickier.

I just love marzipan fruits but they are so expensive and really hard to find, there's this gourmet store at the Plaza that has them only at Christmas time and they are about $6-$12 for ONE piece of candy! I always buy some at Germany in Epcot but they only have chocolate covered bars and I like it better plain. It's kind of bitter but in small pieces it's SO tasty! I was really happy to be able to make my own. I found recipes online to make it from scratch and it looks pretty easy.

Linda, I made buckeyes tonight from your recipe. The peanut butter mixture tastes delicious, but they look like crap! I couldn't figure out how to dip them without getting chocolate all over my fingers, so I ended up dipping just the bottom half and they are all sort of pointy on the tops. They look like acorns (if you squint). I only made 1/2 the recipe and there are still SO many! I love treats that you don't have to cook.

Thanks for the idea Lyzziesmom- I want to make some buck eyes! Can you post the recipe again? I want to make sure I have all the ingredients before I go grocery shopping!

Jeremiah's Grandma is from Germany and she loves marizpan too. I used to get her some everytime we went to Disney when we were dating and still lived in Florida. Your santa hats came out so adorable!

I just peeked into the girls' room before heading to bed and saw this, and had to share:

Hi!!

We just got back from Nathan's ballgame a little while ago. I'm feasting on some Cub Scout Kettle corn and Nathan is in the bathtub.
This weekend is a tournament in a town about 30 miles away from here; Nathan plays again tomorrow at 11am.

YourMajesty:: Glad to hear your Friday was fabulous!! Now you need to explain why.:rolleyes1 :confused3

2x2s:: I'm glad to hear your grandmother is eating and hopefully improving. She sounds like a tough little cookie.
I hope you enjoy your weekend.:goodvibes

Lesa:: Glad to hear Brittany's grades were so good, but too bad you couldn't teach her a lesson!!:headache:

Linda:: I'm glad you got to stay home today and didn't have to drive in the snow!:cold: Hopefully, next weekend Orlando will be warmer than it was in February. Are you all flying in to Orlando on Friday?

Underdog:: It was nice to hear from you!! I miss your late night snacks.:goodvibes

................and where is Michele??!! Yoo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!:cool2:

Did ayone watch George Lopez on Nick the other night? It was about him going to Disneyland for the first time, because his neglectful mother would never take him. It was hilarious!! That episode had me in stitches!!!

I hope everyone is doing good!!!

I had a surprise tonight! I've been telling Jeremiah for months that I wanted my engagement ring resized. Since he gave it to me, I gained some weight and it made it uncomfortable to wear, so I just never did.

Well tonight on his way home he called to tell me he finally got it resized. I was really excited and happy because I love wearing it! When he walked through the door he gave me a box, and I opened it and the stone was missing!

I was shocked and my face looked like this:  He said "Oh no!!! I didn't look at it when I left the store. They must have forgotten to put the stone back in!" After I freaked out for a second he pulled another box from his pocket and gave it to me! :lmao: He definitely tricked me good! He ended up using my stone and putting it in a new setting. I love it, it matches my wedding ring MUCH better!! When we got married I didn't think of matching it because I just never wore my engagement ring.

My husband is so sweet to me. (Besides the tricking!!) What a great anniversary present!

Awe, lyzziesmom!! I just saw the picture!! How sweet!!! She is snuggled in with her buddies.:goodvibes

Ashley!! What a great surprise about your engagement ring!! I guess you should keep Jeremiah around for a few more years!!;)
When is your anniversary?

YM, no antipasto.:lmao:

My grandma is hanging on in intensive care. My dad even said she ate something yesterday. Chicken broth and ice cream. We'll take that. Maybe a Christmas miracle is in the works. Thanks for all your prayers.

YM----oh my goodness-----DS looked so handsome as a cool dude in his cool duds!!!! He really got into the role, huh??
Why is your Friday being fabulous???? Inquiring minds NEED to know!!!;)
