I've said it before and I'll say it again... Pozey, that is one gorgeous little girl you've got there.

This is one of Lyzzie that I have framed on my wall, but the framed one is in black & white:

Very nice picture of Lyzzie!!

Heeellllllooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

We just finished watching The Greatest Game Ever Played. It is a GREAT movie, a must see. :happytv:

Everyones pictures of their little ones are so adorable. :goodvibes
In 5-7 years I'll have to post pictures of my little one; until then I will enjoy yours.

Angela, your boys look like such little hams! And the pirate hats... too cute. Your dad is such a good sport. Your cat is beautiful. I miss having a cat in the house, but we are really not home enough to properly care for a pet right now. My mom has my cats right now (long story, but I moved back with them years ago and she would not return the cats when I left) and now she keeps threatening to return them because one of them loves to pee on rugs, towels, carpet... anything left on the floor.

Pixie, I have never heard of that movie, I may have to check it out once things calm down around here. What's it about?

Came home this evening to a big ol' spider outside the front door busily building the biggest web I have ever seen. The thing has to be about 4 feet in diameter! (The web, not the spider) I tried to take a picture, but it was right in front of a lamppost and it just came out looking like a leggy white blob on a black background. Lyzzie watched it for a while and decided that spiders are kinda cool and not so creepy, as long they are not in your space. I can't say I'm in agreement on that one.

:scared1: :scared1: EEEK! I hate spiders! Time to call the exterminator!
Love the pic of Lyzzie - she looks so serious!

Angela - your boys are adorable, thanks for posting the pics... and such a pretty kitty, too!

Pozey - your Courtney is just absolutely beautiful! You've got a great looking family. Are her brothers protective of her yet, or do they still just pick on her?

Michele - it is great news about Matt's knee (one MRI and about $1500 later...) as much as it's driving him nuts to be off the field, he'll be back in the middle of it soon. Great win, by the way!

So what're we all doing tonight? I actually have my house ALL TO MYSELF tonight! I won't see anyone until tomorrow morning!
I got my email from Southwest Airlines today, advising me about my Rapid Reward Award :woohoo: :woohoo: . Sure am glad I spent that $33 on that rental car... hee hee hee.

Actually what I'm hearing here is one heck of a thunderstorm... knocked out my power a few minutes ago. Only for about 2 minutes, but I couldn't find my flashlight & have already packed & moved all my candles & lighters and man was it DARK! Luckily my computer didn't get zapped, I'm always afraid of that, surge protector or no.

Remember I mentioned that I have a cricket in my room? He is a very good hider and likes to chirp every morning from 3-6am. Lovely little critter has now apparently told a friend where I work. And today was very overcast, so THAT little bugger was chirping all morning, and echoing nicely off the large tiled lobby floors.

Hey everyone!

Well Amber, I went to RH&B tonight. I'm disappointed to say, I didn't like it at all. It was just a bad experience. I was really hoping I'd like it, because I've been craving good BBQ, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. :confused3 :teeth: What made me kind of mad was, I went in there and grabbed a menu, and it didn't have baked potatoes on it. I figured maybe the menu differed from one place to the next. I ordered my food (BBQ pulled pork sandwich for me with fries and ribs for DH) and then looked up at the menu above the cash register and saw them, so that was my fault. But on the menu, it says a pickle comes with the sandwich and I specified NO PICKLES. I am totally anti-pickle and what came, but a pickle on the plate! And the pickle juice got all over the plate, thus the sandwich and fries. I barely ate any of it. And of course NONE of the workers understand what I'm saying, they don't speak English. And I didn't like the BBQ sauce. :guilty: Have you ever tried Smokey Bones? I love it there! They have it in Florida, and they are opening one near me on September 5.

THEN I made the mistake of going to Wal-Mart. :furious: I don't even want to talk about that experience. I should have just gone to Target like I normally do, but they were closing. I don't think I'll ever go there again! It is so dirty and disgusting, and nobody speaks English there, either. I guess I should have paid more attention in my 9th grade Spanish 1 class!!

I hope everyone is having a great Friday night!!! Anything exciting happening tomorrow??

*chirp* *chirp* *chirp* :rotfl: I laughed at your cricket pic. No owls, just crickets.
Your 3 - 6 a.m. cricket? I think I'd have to hunt it down and hurt it.

Sorry 'bout your thunderstorm, we could use one here tonight - I'm a freak, I love a good thunderstorm!

Ashley, so RH&B wasnt' any good? We don't have any around here. I so relate to your Wal Mart lament - oh, I really dislike that store!

Hi chicas and our man!!!

How was everyone's Friday?? Good, I hope. I just got home from work and had to stop and get gas because I am the type that tests how bright the little red light can get. I suppose this is my idea of living dangerously. Oh, what a life I lead. :lmao: :lmao:

Lyzziesmom--quick--what will you be doing next week--right NOW??? Your itinerary sounds like so much fun!! Shall I just meet you there or shall I drive to KC and we can all fly together?? :teeth:

The Ft. Wilderness campfire and movie sounds really cute!! I always forget they have this. I have never been. I have always wanted to try Marrakesh as well, so let me know how it is. Is Emma going to practice her belly dancing skills?? Maybe she can teach those girls how to twist.
We are doing HDDR and Alfredo's too but Boma is another one I want to try but I don't have it worked into this upcoming trip. (I want to try Jiko as well some time in the future--I can be a real foodie at times)

No judging here on US/IOA. The Spidey ride was neat but I really can't do rollercoasters anymore and it sounds like you can't do moving sidewalks anymore. Please be careful, missy!! I don't know if you'll have a chance with the girls but the Bob Marley club in Citywalk is so much fun. I love his music though, so I had a blast--plus I drank way too many blue martinis that night.

Have you eaten at WCC before?? I hope you get a good waiter/waitress--Lyzzie will get a hoot out of it!! (no pun intended on the hoot, hoot, ---from your co-hoot)

What time to you get into Orlando if you leave that early??

Have fun tomorrow at the Disney Store opening. You'll have to let us in on who the special guest is. And don't pull a fast one on me and say Capt. Jack. pirate: ;) cuz I've been practicing my girlie punches.

I have never tried the Beverly, but let Lyzzie know I will try it in Oct. in her honor. I'll make sure I have a good one in the other hand too --just in case. I have a very weak stomach--are you sure it'll be okay?? Pukaliciously?? Nice. I'll have to use that one. :teeth:

OMG--I just saw the pic of Lyzzie---sooooo cute!! She has that kind of "look at me--aren't I just it??" kind of look. Very beautiful!! I am sure it looks great in B&W.

Hey Linda--where've ya been?? I was thinking about you today. I need my Kenny fix. :teeth:

Oh, Pozey---what a picture!!!! She looks like a little angel!! She is beautiful!!
And post away--you know we love to see the kiddos.

Ashley--wow, you got some bargains!! It makes it all the better when you know you saved some money. Now you will really enjoy wearing those clothes.

Amber--you are making me hungry for this BBQ place!! I looked on the link that you provided and the only one in Missouri is is Joplin, which I personally have no idea where that is. I do know it is nowhere close to me though. I will have to try if I am ever out of town in any of the areas.

MImom--good news on Matt's MRI. Sounds like he just needs to take it easy for a bit--which I'm sure he loves to hear. He was probably wanting so badly to be a part of that win!!

I love your new pic of your kids, btw. Very lovey family!!

Angela-- :lmao: Love the one of Ben and Connor blowing kisses. Makes me smile. And Ben and your dad make a couple of "mean" looking pirates. :teeth: Very cute of both of them. I love how your dad gets into the role with them. Sadie is a gorgeous cat. I wish I could have animals again, but with my work schedule, I just don't think it is fair for them. :guilty:

Pr. Pix---the movie that you watched---was that filmed in St. Louis?? Was it about a soccer team?? If it is the same movie I am thinking of, it was filmed here on The Hill where I keep telling you all about. The Italian heritage is still so strong in this area and they wanted to incorporate that into the film. They held auditions for locals to be extras. I am almost positive this is the same movie. I am embarrassed to say, though, that I have not seen it. I guess I should to support the local talent. :thumbsup2

DznyFan--hope you had a good night to yourself. What did you end up doing?? Enjoyed the peace and quiet, I'm sure.---oohh--I see you're still up--chirp chirp and hoot hoot

I think I'll settle down with Stephanie Plum after a little while. If only I had a big ol' whirlpool tub and a glass of wine.

Yukkkk--Lyzziesmom--what's this thing you have with the insects?? I better not dream about that thing tonight!! chiiroiurpouopirp----that's me gagging trying to say it. :teeth:

Ashley--whew, sounds like you didn't have such a good night. :grouphug:
We have Smokey Bones here in St. Louis (suburbs, actually) . It is pretty good but I only eat there occassionally when I am at my parents' because it is really close to their house.

DznyFan---never saw that movie either---are you all getting the idea that I don't see anything that doesn't have JD in it?? :rotfl2:
The questionable BF is still around, I see.

DznyFan:

OOhhh, those cookies sound SO GOOD. Since I didn't eat that much at dinner, I am pretty hungry!! Can you PM the recipe? Pretty please! :teeth:

DH just wore his shorts tonight and they look so cute!! You'll see them in the pics. :) I really wish I could find that shirt online. I can't decide if I really like it or not. :confused3 I need the opinion of my Dis girlies. I think I'll try and take a pic of it with my new camera, I'll see how it turns out.

BTW, Have you guys noticed how much we are getting talked about on the Dis? Boy, are we popular! :teeth:

I had my DD and her 'other' here until about 9:30 - they left and went to an all night lock-in at our church. Fortunately we have a smallish youth group, there'll only be about 20 or so kids there, and one of the chaperones is one of our best friends (he's one of Erin's many 'dads'). They'll have a great night. DH off at a friend's lake house at the monthly poker event. So I made chocolate chip/Heath toffee cookies after the kids left, and have been surfing since. I think I'll settle down with Stephanie Plum after a little while. If only I had a big ol' whirlpool tub and a glass of wine.

MMM, those sound yummy--if I can ever get the vision of that thing Lyzziesmom posted out of my head. I'll tell you, I could NEVER be on Survivor!!

I am going to read a bit tonight as well. I just finished re-reading #4 and will start again on #5.

I must work tomorrow--so Saturday is my Friday.

Everyone have a good night and good Saturday.

HI YM---hope your busy day went well.

Um, am I too late to join the cliquless crew? Was there a deadline?
