Hi fellow "Cliqueless" members! How is everyone? I just got caught up and this thread has exploded! Welcome to all of the new members. When are we deciding on a name? :cheer2:

Never been included in any cliques...even in school. Been cliqueless for 34(oh ok make it 35 years). At least I don't think I have. Well, I don't know maybe thats not true. I did have a group of friends in school who were also not part of any "in crowd"...kind of like those of us posting here. So maybe that was our own clique there. You know...the looser, unpopular, nerdy, band geek group...wow, who would have thought I DID BELONG TO A CLIQUE!!! :teeth:

Good Morning All!
Wow, this thread has really grown since I last posted yesterday on page 7!
Hey, since I am posting twice on the same thread, I guess that makes me "lurkless" as well as cliqueless and tagless!

Lucas: Hello! It is good to see a fellow New Orleanian- what part of New Orleans did you live in?

Holy Cliqueless Batman!

I leave work a little early yesterday and get back today and our cliqueless group has grown to 18 pages!!!

I already feel like an outsider to the cliqueless group!! Can I still be a member?

Wow, so many new faces just since I was on here last. :thumbsup2
:welcome:
Welcome to all the newcomers!!

Hi :wave2: Member pozey!!
Everyone is welcome here!

Just saw this thread and have not read it all, but can I still join? Never part of a clique but I did post to a couple of game threads once.

I have my grandkids so have not been here much, grandson likes to play games at the Disney channel site.

Are there rules or can we come visit whenever?

A big  to everyone.

So I want to pose a question to all of you cliqueless folks:
Where do you all stand with cliques in the workplace? For example, I work in the corporate office of a decent size company - we've got about 50 - 60 people at corp. We are very cliquey and political here - it's almost Jr. Highish. It seems like the more you're willing to gossip and so forth, the more "in" you are. That's just not my style... I work hard, and keep my nose out of everybody's business, just like I was taught growing up. I guess that's not cool....... :confused3
I'm also pretty shy and quiet, as mentioned by some of you guys... I guess that doesn't make for good clique material. hee, hee, hee. I just don't clique.

This is my situation exactly, even in school! (Except I've been cliqueless for 30 going on 31 years..) Doesn't it feel nice to BELONG! :bounce:

I work for a carpet company and we are a small company, so we all get along pretty well. I am also shy and quiet and it gets mistaken sometimes for snottiness. I just have to warm up to people first.

Dannnnnng people!

You *did* start your own clique! :joker:

I agree with the workplace. I work at a major electronics retailer. I used to work at the customer service desk. I didn't clique with them because I don't go out and get smashed every weekend. I don't flirt with all the boys. I also didn't spend an hour a day getting ready to look 'pretty' at work. The majority of us there were 19 and older. The politics were like junior high/high school again.

Luckily I got moved to the appliance department with only 5 people in it. No drama. I guess we are our own little clique because most of the store ignores us, including the managers so we just stick together. I rather be in a group without drama than one with too much.

I work at a bank and for the most part it isn't cliquey. However, there does seem to be a division between the tellers and people that work elsewhere. It doesn't have a "clique feel" though.

Yes, but no...we are a cliqueless (and some tagless) clique. Huge difference. ;) :lmao:

That is sooooo me! Maybe that's why I've never been part of a clique. :confused3

I work in an orthopaedic office with about 15 people. I wouldn't say there are cliques here, but I can certainly see the little subdivisions.

I work for a very large corporation so there is an obvious division between departments. I've worked here for 19 years now & while I'm sure there are still cliques it seems that the older I get the more far removed from the cliquey-ness of it all I get.

mornin' cliqueless!!!!!! :sunny: :wave2: ...and welcome to all newbies!!!! pixiedust:

I agree there is no place for cliques and gossip in the workplace!!! Cliques are bearable: people will tend to form groups. Gossip is intolerable to me.

I am also a quiet, keep to myself person who is often perceived as a snob, when just the opposite is true. I have never understood people making that assumption about quiet people. :confused3

Also, I get the feeling I am not always very good at making jokes, especially here an the internet - I think they fall flat many times.....ahh, the internet!!!!

proud to be cliqueless!!! :dance3:

Same here! I wish I was a little more outgoing. And I can't tell a joke to save my life!!!

Wow! See, you all are going too fast for me already! I can't keep up with this! :surfweb:
