Hey Lin!!

I saw that dress you are talking about, but the one I tried on was the white one with light blue & navy blue polka dots. It looked really cute on the hanger but when I tried it on it just wasn't very flattering!! I saw alot of cute skirts I would like to try though. Thanks for suggesting that store, I don't usually go there & they have alot of cute stuff!!

I tried on that one too and it made me look pregnant!!!!!!!! I can't do the empire waist thing...

That is too funny!:lmao: Sounds like ya'll have had a busy and fun day today!

Ashley- Woohoo for the credit! :yay: Good luck at the dentist tomorrow!

Lin- The bead brunch I go to is at a little bead shop and we go there to make jewelry and the employees help us with what we're making. It inspires me to use some of the beads I have sitting around and make stuff out of them!

I saw those sundresses at NY& Co on Friday, I didn't have a chance to try anything on, but plan on going there on the weekend. I saw a cute dress at Target today, I might have to go get it. Old Navy has some sundresses on sale this week, I'll have to go check them out.
Nicole, that sounds fun!

I almost forgot....Did anyone else hear that Disney is going to offer a free nights stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge if you agree to sit through a 90 minute sales presentation on the AK Villas?:yay:

Sorry, I couldn't come up with anything better.:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Good luck at the dentist Ashley.

Have a great night everyone!

hey hey everyone----

just thought I'd pop in and say how-d.

I've been kind of down in the dumps lately, but thanks to Miss Donna yesterday, got to forget about things for a bit. We had such and good time shopping and lunching and chatting. And yes, I did pull a Plum!!:lmao: Right past downtown St. Louis, the highway signs get really confusing and I knew this going into it. I've been this way before, but have never driven it, especially by myself. I kept saying, "I can do this---just follow the signs." Well, I did and I think I freaked myself out enough to follow the wrong sign----which I thought was the right sign, which in the end I don't think really mattered because I'm pretty sure they merged together further down the road anyway. So, I thought I took the wrong split in the highway so I got off at the nearest exit----which, if any of you have seen "Vacation" with Chevy Chase, know the it is not the nicest part of town----East St. Louis, baby!!! I immediately took a right turn at the stop sign (barely stopped too:eek: )------------desolate area-----I mean not another car around------but-----a strange-looking bird of a man (if I can even call him that) standing across the street. Then, a bit up the road-----I pulled the fastest U-turn in the books to get back onto the highway----but---not before I see three mangey stray dogs staring at me. Can you say petal to the metal??:scared1: :scared1: :lmao: I'm laughing now, but at the time...........!!!!! Good thing I didn't have the top down on the car!!
I went back into the Downtown area and tried again. This time I got it right --------but only after about a ten minute lovely tour because of the one-way streets and not being able to find the east-bound ramp to the highway------and safely arrived at my destination----but not before calling Donna and alerting her that I got a bit lost and would be a few minutes late and she assured me that I was on the correct path.:cutie:

So, some bad news I got Thursday evening at work -----my company is changing health insurance---effective April 1 (yep, today). And it was confirmed to me on Friday evening that NONE of my doctors, treatment sites, etc. are covered in network. Lovely, huh?? So, I basically have two choices----start from scratch with all new doctors that are in network---which is not so easy with an extremely rare disease such as mine------or stay with the same doctors who have been with me since day one of this lovely illness and pay around $7000 out of my pocket because they are out of network----This is yearly, but with the cost of my treatments, I would meet that in a week.
So, I plan to call my main doctor tomorrow and see what her thoughts are. I'm more than nervous, because I don't know which way to choose. It's pretty scary. My mind has been racing since I found this information out. Plus, I am supposed to have treatments this week, which I will most likely have to cancel because of the new insurance approval. Health wise-----that's not good. Sorry to be a bummer, but this is part of the reason I just haven't been here. I'm just so tired of all this---but unfortunately I can't control it.

So, nothing like putting a damper on the mood, huh?? Sorry about that. I know it will all work out--at least this is what I'm telling myself.

I've been trying to catch up a bit with everyone's posts --so hello-- and keeping you all in my thoughts with what's going on in your lives. Hugs to all!!:grouphug: :grouphug:

2x, you just found out and its effective today! Thats nuts! Disney gave us two months warning when we changed in January. Thats a stinker of a deal! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Thanks for checking in!!!

Hi Lin---

Yep, found out Thursday and it's effective today. Good deal, huh?? The sad thing of it is----they still don't have a provider booklet for us----so, if I choose to go with another doctor (planning on asking my doctor if she has anyone she can refer)-----I don't know because I don't have a provider list. They said they are still trying to work out the kinks in the plan. We are a small group so I guess it's not "by the book". Good thing I just got most of my meds refilled recently because if I have to wait even a few weeks, I'd be in big trouble. It's bad enough that I have to postpone my treatments.
Thanks for your prayers----all are so appreciated.
(I've been keeping you in mine as well with your career situation:hug: )

I just looked at the time and I have an early work day tomorrow.

Have a good night.

Good morning everyone!

2x-- so sorry about the insurance plan. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it all works out for you.

Hopefully I didn't post this already here-- if I did-- sorry. The people who put a contract on the house, then wanted out, came back and wanted back in. They have re-signed with everything as is and we are back to closing on the 20th. :cool1: Soo we are back to a sold house and I'm back to frantically packing.:goodvibes That's why I've been sporatic about my posting. I'll be without a computer from April 20th to May 20th but I promise I'll be back after that.

I'm 5'4" so I'm not very tall either.

Well, got to get kiddo to school. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning!!!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

2X- I'm sorry about your insurance troubles. :grouphug: That's terrible that they didn't give you more than a few days notice.

Yolanda- Woohoo, your house is finally sold!!! We'll miss you while your gone.

Sorry, I couldn't come up with anything better.:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Good luck at the dentist Ashley.

Have a great night everyone!

 How dare you tease us like that!!!:rotfl:

Yolanda! Thats great news! Good luck with all the packing! A whole month without the computer!? I might die...

Good Morning!

I have so much to do today, I don't know where to start. DH tried to keep up with things around here while I was gone.......:rolleyes1 I don't think he vacuumed since I left which means I should pull up about 6 dogs from the carpet. Did I mention he was quite the clutts while I was gone? He fell getting out of the tub on his back, and he broke his thumb while playing with the dog.:scared1:

Donna...I love eggs benedict!

2x2...I'm sorry to hear about the insurance. I hope it works out! DH insurance changed as of the 1st of the year and we had to change Dr's once again. We have yet to see the Dr because they keep changing when they are accepting new patients so here it is April 2 and still have not been able to go.:sad2: I bet the Dr's will be able and willing to work something out with you. I have negotiated with Dr's before, there are several ways you can negotiate with them. I would be afraid to switch Dr's since you are in the middle of treatment, but it then again it may be a good thing getting a new opinion on things.

Welcome suzimar57, Donna serves us up a wonderful breakfast every morning.

Yolanda...Wonderful news!:dance3:

Have a great day everyone!

Hey Donna...thanks for the breakfast. What's in the Lilikoi juice?

2xcited...I'm glad you had a nice visit with Donna. Oh my...I think someone spotted your car while you guys were shopping?

Thought you might need some extra laughs. I'm so sorry about all the insurance issues. I know you will sort through them and hopefully come up with a decent plan. We are all here for you you.

Yolanda....:woohoo: :woohoo: Get packing girlie! That is good news.

Michele...my goodness, I can't believe how tall Zach and his mom look. I'm a little embrassed that I havne't sent my package.:rolleyes1 Love the pictures of Lilly...how is her tummy feeling?

Lesa...glad you enjoyed your stay with Lilly. Your poor DH. I guess he's getting around slowly. What can you do for a broken thumb?

Lin...I know you are having a hard time with the career decisions. At frist I was thinking that teaching might be a little less stressful but then I waffled. It would certainly be less hours with the summers off. Good luck...I hope you get your dream job with Disney some day!

lyzziesmom...sounds like you and the girls had a nice day. We just had a beautiful day yesterday...loved the sunshine. Good luck with your plants.:flower3: You might try getting some that are already growing.;)

Hey Ashely...glad you and Jeremiah had a good weekend. How's your tooth feeling?

Hello Linda, Pozey, Dznyfan, Angela, Amber, Nicole....welcome suzimar57 we always have a nice breakfast.:cheer2:

YM, that has got to be about one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen in my life!!!

Donna, I'm passing on breakast this a.m., think I'm having a touch of the stomach bug that's been going on around here for the past month or so.... fought it most of the way home yesterday, what a MISERABLE drive home. Thank you, though

2X - I am so sorry to hear about your insurance nightmare. :grouphug: I know there's not a dam thing you can do about it, and it just stinks! If anyone DOESN'T need that kind of headache, it's you. :flower3:

Pozey - CONGRATULATIONS on what looks to be promising changes in your future!

Michele - great photo you posted of "the family". Strange thing regarding the girl Zach was seeing, tho  That's messed up.

Ashley, this dental thing is absolutely ridiculous!! $1500 for just the sedation? That's crazy! I really hope you can find something that works out for you.

Lin - thanks for TDS info. I think I will take your tip.

Hi everyone!!

I'm back from the dentist. It took for-ever!!! I ended up getting a cleaning too. It was a pretty nice office with a nice dentist. It turns out I need two fillings. I'm alittle confused because she says that nothing is wrong with the teeth that are hurting.:confused3 The fillings are for two teeth that don't even hurt at all!

She said the one tooth that it hurting the most has a pretty big filling in it, and the nerve might be alittle agitated, but she said it is nothing to worry about and to get it checked in 6 months- scheduled on my, Lyzziesmom's and Ruby's birthdays :sad2: I had ALL of my teeth x-rayed and she didn't see anything wrong with that tooth, or the surrounding areas. I go for the fillings on April 16. I am relieved, because that means I don't need a root canal (yet) & she kept insisting she sees nothing wrong with the tooth or surrounding teeth, but I just don't understand why it hurts then:confused3

The thought that "the nerve could be aggitated" is making me nervous  I am such a worry wart, I go to the dentist to see whats wrong and I don't believe when she says there is nothing wrong:rolleyes1

My other very good news- I got a Ding! fare and I saved $117 on my May airfare!!!:woohoo: I'm very excited about that!

Ashley, congrats on the extra savings!

Did she have any advice on how to deal with the pain, since she says there's nothing wrong with the tooth?

Lesa: D'oh! You got me, I guess I am the April Fool in the bunch.

Ashley: That's good news that there's nothing wrong with the tooth. I know sometimes the nerves can be tricky, it can feel like the pain is in one tooth but it's really in another one. Did you have her check your sinuses? I've had horrible toothaches and it turned out to be a sinus infection - the dentist could see it on the xray.

2x: OMG that is horrible that your job switched your insurance with virtually NO notice! Are they even allowed to do that? I sure hope you can get something figured out. Asking your dr. for a referral to a new dr. is a good idea. Good luck.

Busy day today, end of the month paperwork to do plus regular Monday stuff. A big HOWDY to everyone and have a great day!
