Linda-- You'll love Hawaii. The whales certainly put on a show! They are really fun to watch. You should try looking at tripadvisor.com under the Hawaii forums-- there's some great info to be found there if you are willing to weed through some of the other stuff.

No you're not being too strict. Yes, I really think Dznyfan gave you some great advice! I'm like you, I try to remember what it was like for me and try to prevent it from happening or help Kenny as much as you can to begin with, but sometimes it is so tough. One of my brothers is the complete opposite. He would (and still does) what his "friends" do. This lead to a time where he moved to VA to be with his girlfriend and ended up doing crystal meth (he's now off, thank god). Still, he did this to fit in with her and her friends. I know that's an extreme, but it happens.
omg...glad he is off of it now. I am so glad I wasn't like that. I can say I'll be 30 and I've never tried any illegal drug... never smoked a cigarette...nothing... yes, I might have been/or am boring according to some

I finally made it to the Y today after taking about a year off from exercise. I'm sure I will be whining tomorrow about how sore I am. My DH mentioned a 5K "family" race coming up...sounds like a good goal.

Linda----I had to laugh yesterday when I was over at my mom's house. She was playing with her cell phone and wanted a picture to put next to my name when I call. Well, I was DISing and I was scrolling through our thread and one of your posts came up. She says, "stop"-----and proceeds to take a picture of your picture of the castle (for some reason it is HUGE on my account still)------so now, every time I call her on her cell phone, your castle pic comes up. I told her all royalties need to go to Linda.
I need to run----I am meeting two of my cousins and their children for lunch today before I head in to work. We are going to the cemetery to do a "balloon release" for my grandma-----it's been one year that she has passed.

: There was a lawsuit and won, everyone got money to replace their windows, but the people that owned the house just took the money and never replaced them. So my little brain is a working on my next move. I am going to call our lawyer because the faulty windows were never disclosed to us. This however does not take care of the problem from my siding dude, I still have to deal with him. He will be sorry he messed with me, boy!

There was a thread here on the Community Board that asked the question of what shampoo do you use or something like that.
Wow, there are only 3 of us...but we don't go through that much of anything. I did go to cosmetology school in HS so every since then I've only bought professional products. I have long hair too and I only buy new bottles once every few months! I only use about the size of a quarter on my hair. For Kenny I only use about 1/2 that. I use a bottle of baby shampoo on his hair...a bottle every few months...and yes, we bathe every day
at least once. usually more b/c I have to shower after getting in the hot tub
or out of the tanning bed! Then again, Mike does the shopping for the most part
so I could be clueless on some things
I have a job interview with a
travel agency today!!!! I am so scared! If I am hired I start on Monday. I haven't been on a real interview in 7 years.

I hope you're all having a great day. I started out to work but the roads were so icy! I could only go 40 on the freeway and I am not one of those scared, only drive 1/2 of what everyone else is driving kind of people.... I said forget it, turned around and went back home! I'm so glad I did!!
