The city inspector came out yesterday to look at the damage. He said he is going to do everything he can to help us. He took pictures and was going to take them to the city commissioner. I am suppose to hear back from him sometime today or tomorrow.

I still have both girls home sick. I took Maddie back to the Dr yesterday. She said her wheezing was actually getting worse instead of better. She put her on a very high dose (adult dose) of Advair. She will check her again Friday and then after she is wheeze free she will taper the dose back down. I listened to her this morning and I still don't hear an improvement.:guilty:

Good luck with the inspector. :wizard:

I hope they feel better soon.

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:  that is hilarious!!!

Good luck w/the inspector helping resolve the house issues.

I'm praying the girls get feeling better soon! I have been so lucky w/Kenny. He's never been to the hospital ....knock on wood! He's only had the normal colds, bronchitis a time or two and pink eye twice. I've never had to worry about the asthma and all that other stuff.... I sure hope they get better soon! :grouphug:

I thought Kenny was a mind reader:confused3 :rotfl: he cracks me up!

I have to agree w/you pozey.... Fantasmic is awesome! It was Mikes favorite too! I'm not sure if I like Fantasmic better or Illuminations:confused3 I liked the new and improved Fantasmic type show they showed in the stocks magazine they sent :woohoo: and the pirate ship park:yay:

It was a PIN code. However, WDW was booking anyone that called with the 3 digit code. Now they won't book it unless they can pull it up under your name.

I'm not sure what road Lost River is on (not good with road names). Mike's coworker has to drive there every other week to deliver wine to a small hotel. I feel bad for him, because the drive to and from takes all day.
I figured so....I called and wasn't lucky enough to have it w/our name:sad1: darn it! then again, Mike might not have wanted to go anyway.

I remember them in Lost River saying that it was one of the first roads in the country or something. It was pretty cool. that had to be the hotel I had to stay at...there isn't anything else there:rotfl2: I remember the little restaurant w/a tiny buffet. Yeah, that poor guy:sad2: what a drive. I remember taking my dog w/us:guilty: she got SOOOO sick. driving through those hills and mountains...yikes!!!

It was funny! I still remember Bree's face, it was a little like :scared1: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Both my girls have had any and everything. They both had RSV, Brittany had Roseola and 5th's disease. Both as babies never had just a regular temp when they were sick, it was always 105 or 106. Both have (had) asthma, Brittany seemed to outgrow it about 7yrs old. They catch every flu, cold, viral anything that seems to go around. It used to make me really mad when my kids were continuously sick and Michele's kids never even would get a cold.:sad2:

I love Fantasmic, we haven't seen it our last few trips for some reason. I liked the old Illuminations.

wow...Kenny has never had a bad fever. Thank goodness! He got most of it when he started going to pre school around all the sick kids;) after a few weeks his immune system built up and he was fine. I've never even heard of rsv and 5th:rolleyes1 I sure hope they get feeling better soon.

Ahhh if we could all be sitting in MK about now:rolleyes1 :cloud9:

Neither did I until they had them!

I could go for quick trip to the world! 3 months seems like such a long time from now.

I just read on a thread that Johnny Depp's daughter is in serious condition. They don't say what is wrong, just that she is really ill.:sad1:

Lesa:thumbsup2 (thumb) a quick trip sounds great! even 3 months from now would be great for me! I keep thinking over and over how I could manage getting a AP and get some discounts where we could go a few times a year.

Does the AP save you much on the resorts and everything? I'm thinking maybe it would be worth getting one if I could get my use out of it:rolleyes1 :rotfl: I better keep that one here or Mike will just :faint: :teeth: Hmmm how could I do it and is it worth it:scratchin If I could talk Mike into flying out of our base w/them to FL:scratchin there must be a way ;)

wow, I hope Depp's daughter will be ok!:guilty:

We're getting awfully close to the 1000th page!:rolleyes1

We have never used the AP for discounts on resorts (I take that back, I think Michele did this last trip) because we stay are DVC members. Maybe you can talk him into buying points for DVC!?!?!?!;) Sadly I think this will be our last trip being members. We are looking to sell it after we get back in June. :sad2:

You can get some decent prices on the Timeshare store, you can get to it through the main page of the Dis. We purchased ours through them and saved a bunch over buying new from Disney.;)

I asked him what he thought the Easter Bunny would bring him and he says "what do you think I am, a mind reader?":rotfl:

That's too funny! Where do kids get this stuff??

For my May trip I got a room-only deal with my AP, for 6 nights at ASMu I'm paying $501. I think it's $74+tax per night, and the regular rates are $99+tax per night, so I think that's a pretty good savings. There's a new room-only special right now for the same time frame for non-AP holders, I think it's for $89+tax, so I'm still saving quite a bit. Lyzzie and I are not doing any TS meals so we don't need the DDP this time. In fact, we are not going to do much planning at all. I'll make my handy-dandy spreadsheet with the park hours and parade/show times, and we will just wing it from there. She knows she definitely wants to do one day where we go to Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest and shop at DTD, but the rest is going to be pretty spontaneous. She wants to ride a lot of rides, so I'm really excited. With Emma along at the Convention, I really didn't get to ride as much as I wanted to so I can make up for it this time around!

Michele: that's too funny about your dad's "mistake!" I was reading it thinking he was going to say she fell off the couch, and was actually relieved to see she only peed on it.

Why is it that people keep posting on FC's threads? I don't read them, the titles are creepy enough for me, but why do people respond and keep them at the top? :confused3 I just don't get it!

O.k. back to your regularly scheduled chatter!:hyper2:

I know it, they are too cute w/the things they come up with!

that is a pretty good savings w/the ap! Maybe when Kenny is tall enough for the coasters... you and Lyzzie will have an awesome time! she'll love Blizzard Beach! I really like the waterparks.

I know! When I first started posting down here I would read some of them...but once you get to know more...it is creepy and I ignore them. I think maybe some people feel sorry for him or something...but geeze...he's MY age!!:confused3 oh well...I can ignore them ;)

I don't know. I posted on one of his threads awhile ago. I can't help reading; it's a train wreck. I have my personal opinions on him, but I'm not going to post anymore and have people yell at me.

I think people (on each side) just want to be right. They will keep it up until one of them is proven right, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I did ask the mods why it was allowed to go on and was told that he is doing nothing wrong. If that's what they think, they can have their opinion (even if it does differ from mine).

When I first started on here, I felt sorry for him. Then his posting got creepier and creepier.:scared: I think the last time I read any of his posts was when it all came out about him posting on another board like a normal adult. This newest one of his "I took my bunny to.........is just plain weird. I understand how people that didn't know about him would want to open and read, but I'm sure it is the same people posting on them basically encouraging him. This one has over 200 responses on it. I think he just likes stirring up trouble!:stir: That's my opinion!;)

Afternoon everyone!

Amber, did you have to cancel a trip and are trying to reschedule? I think I missed something...
Anyway, my favorite parks are MK, Epcot/MGM, AK. Magic Kingdom is just what Disney means to me. I love aspects of Epcot and MGM equally. I'm not a huge fan of AK, its good for a half day but I get bored pretty quickly there. Dinosaur is one of my favorite rides though!

Yolanda, yippee for everything coming together for your move! I know how excited you are!!

Dznyfan, thanks for the arcticle! I wish I could come see the show. Do you do airfare through your travel agency thing?

Lesa, good luck with the contractor, good to know the city seems to be on your side!

Michele, we are keeping Bree in our thoughts and prayers as she starts back to school. Your dad seems like such a wonderful guy! Hehe, peeing on the couch...

Well, I just got off the phone with my college because I sent in a transcript request last Monday and still haven't recieved anything even though it stated that it would be processed within 48 hours. They claim to never have recieved it even though I called the day I sent it to confirm that it had arrived. Then, oh wait, you have a hold on your records! I asked why, since I graduated in Spring of 2004 and have never heard anything about this and she says its from financial aid! So I call them and apparently I was supposed to do an exit survey for my financial aid. I laid into the poor girl. I know it wasn't her fault but I was mad. I asked why I was never notified about this and she said that when I enrolled it was in the packet, well I asked why graduating students were not emailed or mailed this information to remind them to go online and take the survey. She told me they get several complaints about this daily! Then why haven't they done something about it! I am steaming... So, I did the stupid survey which involved contacting my bank to get the balance of my student loans and he required me to change the address on my loan account to my address even though my parents are taking care of my loans. Then I had to call my dad and tell him that and he wasn't too happy because now I will have to get the bills to him and its just one more thing to keep up with. Ugh, what a mess. So, I refaxed my transcript request and all I can say is it better show up soon. I can't get into this teaching program until they have been recieved and I want to start now while we are still slow at work. The good news is that my college in Minnesota is totally on the ball and could tell me the day they mailed it and when it should be at my house. I miss my Minnesota people!

Okay, vent over. Now back to your regularly scheduled dis-ing.

I know, definitely not for me:sad2:

I'll have to pm you about the timeshare store! whoo hoo!

I agree. I've read all the links and he seems like a completely different person. I gave the mods the links and they said it wasn't their job to look elsewhere on the internet for him.
(Oh, and the only reason I even asked the mods in the first place was because his "supporters" brought up the fact that no one ever asked the mods about the whole thing. The mod that did respond thought he was off, but wasn't breaking any rules).

Wait, posting like a normal adult? Whats that about? He knows he acts super wierd and creepy on here? EEEEEWWW!!!!! I just thought he was "slow". Sometimes I wonder what his real story is...

I suppose I should go get ready for work...
