ooooh, Donna---you've outdone yourself, sista!!!!! Chocolate for breakfast----now that's a cure for PMS if I'd ever seen one. (sorry Pozey---girly talk)
The recipe looks like just a basic chocolate crepe with a creme filling and can't forget the chocolate shavings. YUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

Your "potty dance" reminds me of when my sister and I were little girls-----we used to be so scared to go potty by ourselves so my grandma (the one who passed away in March) made up this little "tap tap, shuffle shuffle" dance that she did outside the door to let us know she was still standing there. :lmao: I can't believe I just posted that!!!!!! :lmao:

My niece will be 8yrs. old on 12/4. Are you thinking another matchmaker?? They could have a double wedding with Kenny/Courtney at GF. :teeth:

Yolanda---I hurt for your little guy!!!!! I know it just turned out to be hairline but it still sounds like it's painful. They're tough, though. :grouphug: :grouphug: to Keagan.

Pozey----I'm sorry your Thanksgiving was spent feeling under the weather. Did you get to enjoy any of the food, or were your taste buds a little off?? Take it easy putting up those decorations, but remember, we are all anxiously awaiting pics. :teeth:

DnzyFan----can't wait for your pics too. I always have to have the Christmas music on for the event----you too??

April---did Donna fill you in??
congrats on the Y. I wish I had your incentive----I just have no spare time right now. I should just make the time, but I don't know when---especially weeks like this. I need to just get my booty out and take a walk------but bad weather is on the horizon. Excuses, excuses. :sad2:

Lyzziesmom----yes, I believe a new camera is needed. Did Emma notice her decorating was rearranged?? At least she gets into it.

Michele---wow, that's a long flight!!!! I have no idea what the time loss/gain is. PD for Blake.
Hope you are feeling better----get some rest.
Did Lesa send any leftover turkey FedEx to you?? :rolleyes1

Ash----I hope your tummy is feeling better. This has to be miserable!!!
I don't know what to tell you about the artificial trees----I grew up with one because my dad was always too afraid of the fire hazard with a real one. I'd say I turned out fine----but you all know the truth. :lmao: :teeth: I really don't think it's from the Christmas tree, though. :teeth:

Hmmm, favorite park----that is a tough one!!!!!

I love them all but for different reasons.

MK---I have to say this is my first love!!! So many memories.
Epcot----I looove the countries----the feeling of being a part of a different culture.
MGM----the atmosphere of "old hollywood" has definitely grown on me over the years. I just saw Fantasmic for the first time and loved it (even though is was raining)
AK---I have to admit----I have only been there once about 6 yrs. ago and it was not complete yet. The last times I've been to WDW, for some reason AK was skipped. I am looking forward to it.

And who can forget DTD and the hotel circuit-----I count these as parks too. :teeth: :teeth:

Needless to say----just like everyone else-----I adore every aspect.

Thanks everyone for your continued prayers for my grandma. I spoke to my dad tonight and he said that the infections still continue to improve but again, she is still not eating. They are really thinking it is a psychological issue. There has been some question of her having the beginnings of alsheimers (I'd look up the spelling, but fear of losing this post has taken over) but my grandpa doesn't want to have her tested. It's almost like he doesn't want to know. :guilty: Anyway, her dr. put her on some anti-depressants to see if this will pull her out of it. My mom, last night, asked her if she wants to come home and she said yes. My mom then said to her that she needs to help us out here and eat so she can come home. :guilty:

If you don't mind me asking, please continue to keep my nephew Luca in your thoughts. He was ill again today. My sister is keeping a log of when he gets sick and he has thrown up 7 times since Nov. 6, and she doesn't see a pattern as far as his eating, etc. He is 10 1/2 months old. The thing that worries us is that when he ended up in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, the dr. mentioned a possibility of a stomach abnormality that he could need surgery for but they are not sure if this is even the cause. It is still unknown why he keeps getting sick-----just doesn't follow a "flu-like" pattern, even though the others had it over Thanksgiving.

Thanks you guys!!!!!

Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer----things are just in a rut right now.

I'm getting some sleep now-----I have my IVIG treatments this week----still haven't heard a thing about the new treatments yet.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

(I just re-read the past couple of paragraphs----can't imagine what you are all thinking)

ya sure you still want me to attend the convention?? :rolleyes1

"Goodnight Donna!"

Just catching up before beddie-bye. Wasn't going to post but must say to 2x: hugs & prayers for your grandma & Luca. It's so scary when the little ones feel bad, because they have no way to tell us. Your sis is one smart lady to keep track as carefully as she is... I'm sure I wouldn't have the presence of mind to do so. I'm sure they will find and fix the problem quickly.

I had to laugh at your Debbie Downer comment... ok it was actually more of a snort than a laugh. I could just picture the face, and the music... *snort!* there I go again!! I can't speak for everyone else but what I'm thinking is... stuff like this makes you guys seem more 'real' (since of course you are all imaginary internet friends, right?) and let it out, sister!!

Going to bed now, but first a quick cute little Emma story:

At dinner tonite I reminded the girls of our Xmas pictures tomorrow & asked to see practice smiles. Emma smiled and said "Picture with Tigger? Mickey? Minnie Mouse?" I had to tell her no, you're only having your picture taken with Lyzzie & Mommy. She said "Oh." and her little face just fell. Poor thing... so disappointed that every picture can't be at Disney!

One more: Also at dinner... the restaurant had a Xmas tree up. The ornaments were of the colored glass ball variety. Emma decided to loudly show off her knowledge of colors; "Green balls! Red balls!" etc. She somehow fixated on BLUE and yelled out the corresponding phrase. Repeatedly. (go ahead, say it out loud.) Much to her delight, I was visibly embarrassed, which of course only encouraged her.

I'll catch up later, just wanted to say GOOD MORNING!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning Cliqueless Crew!!!! I think I'll prepare an old favorite this morning. Wanna' join me at the Crystal Palace for some Mickey Waffles? :mickeyjum

Images-g34515-d144432-b1358730S-MIckey_waffle_-Royal_Plaza_Hotel-Orlando_Florida.jpg

I hope everyone has a ToonTown Tuesday!!!! :teeth:

Good morning Michele! :wave2:

Just wanted to recap from last night a bit.

2x2s:: I said a special prayer for your Grandmother and Luca last night.
I hope each day your Grandmother improves and the doctors find the reason behind Luca's illness. Hugs to your family. :grouphug: :grouphug:
Do we still want you at the convention??!!!??!! I can't imagine being there without you, Cupcake!!! :sad2:

lyzziesmom:: So Emma wants her picture taken with Mickey??? Donald??? Our poor kids don't have a chance to fight the Disney Bug!!! :teeth: pirate: princess:
Speaking of red balls...green balls. One day we were in the car and somehow the discussion of Sleeping Beauty came up. :confused3 Nathan began to tell the story of how she fell asleep by pricking her finger on a spinnng wheel. He kept repeating the part about pricking her finger and sort of stuttered..... I thought DH and I were going to bust out laughing!!! Of course, Nathan had no clue about what he was saying!!!

Now...on to itineraries.

Amber's plans for today are....
11/28:
MK
lunch at Crystal Palace
MVMCP (our first time!!!)
------------------------------------------------------------

Angela's plans are....
11/28
OUR LAST DAY
We originally were going to do nothing this day but looks like we'll hit MGM
for the first time!
So check out/store luggage with Bellman
Go to MGM
Back to the resort in time to catch ME (about 4:15-4:30)
Flight leaves Orlando 7:20pm back in Nashville at 8:25pm
---------------------------------------------------------------

I guess Angela will get home late this evening. I'm sure she'll be one tired cookie!!!!

Better run, talk with you all later!!! :wave2: :chat: :chat: :chat:

Donna, too funny about Nathan! What cracks me up even more is when Lyzzie will accidentally say a bad word, or something she knows she's not supposed to say, and then realize what she just said. I'm still technically asleep and can't think of any examples, but the look on her face is priceless!!

Ugh, I had a disagreement with my mom at breakfast this morning. The woman is a horrible communicator, and it drives us all nuts because she will never take responsibility for her mistakes. Instead she just waits until we get all frustrated & fed up, and then she very calmly will say, "Well it's over now, just let it go. I don't see why YOU'RE so upset." Um... because YOU upset me!! Anyway, it was over the stupidest thing (isn't it always?). I was filling out my girlscout cookie order which is due today. She put a check in front of me, on top of the collection envelope full of money, and said, "Fill out your order then fill out the check and I'll sign it for you." I thought, oh how nice she's paying for my order! So I put in my order & filled out the check for the amount of my order. Noooo, she wanted the check for the ENTIRE amount for ALL the orders, and she was exchanging it for the cash in the envelope. How the heck was I supposed to know that?? Would you guys have gotten that from what she said? I didn't. So then when I explained why I did it differently, she got upset and said, "What did you think, I was paying for yours? WHY would you think that? Just do it right!!" When I tried (again) to explain, that's when she used that calm patronizing voice to tell me, "It's over, I don't know why you're so upset." Grrrrrr!!! It's not over just because YOU decide it is. I hate when people do that.

Ok, rant over. Donna, thanks for the Mickey Waffles!! You really know how to brighten up a morning!!

It looks like Amber & Angela are having a great time, I'm so jealous & looking forward to Feb!!

I got the cutest email this morning...
KennyThanksgiving.jpg

the one that takes all the pix of Kenny at the football games... this was from Thanksgiving at Mikes brothers house. Can you tell he gets all the attention :rolleyes1

Your niece will be 8 :cloud9: how cute. My niece will be 8 in May. She is into American Girl big time. Kenny loves Hanna Montana too. He saw her in the Macys parade on thanksgiving...he got all excited :teeth: You'll have to ask your nephew if he's going to have any good deals on a Ferrari for us for the holidays ;) Good luck w/getting a positive answer on the new treatments soon!

Yolanda :guilty: poor little guy. I've had a few fractures in my life.... oh man that's so painful! My first was when I was 6 and my mom waited about 12 hrs before she FINALLY took me to the hospital :sad2: Hope he gets to feeling better. :grouphug:

Yay Amber gets to go to MVMCP for the first time today :cheer2: I love MVMCP!!! :woohoo: Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow...In Orlando of coarse;)
Angela, have a safe trip home :grouphug:

I was so excited I got a pkg. from the ta last night w/ all kinds of docs. of what to do etc. I already knew everything in there...but it was still exciting b/c that means we're getting closer!!!
Friday after we put up all our Xmas decor I told Mike that next year we should just go to Disney for Christmas....he looked at me and said.."we'll see" :cheer2:  :cheer2: that would be so awesome!! I've got to stop this...it should be $ in 401k...$ in 401k...invest it...invest it...

Have a good day everybody! :wave2:

/
That's ok Linda, I'll let you in on a little secret. I figured out how to pay for my trip. I cashed out my 401k from my last job. I didn't have enough in it to roll it over, and the new job doesn't start a 401k until you've been here about a year and a half... but there was more than enough in there to fund my Feb trip! Possibly not the wisest idea, but hey it works for me.

Good morning! Just thought I'd check in and say hi! I've been off in a turkey coma for the past several days. :rolleyes1

Thanks for the mickey waffle Donna. It was fab!

Gotta go catch up, be back soon! :dance3:

2x2s that is so sweet!! Grandma's are the best!! Saddly, my grandma passed last year. :sad1: Lord, how I miss her. :guilty:

I'm continuing to pray for your Grandma. I will also add Luca to my prayer list. Hang in there. Things will get better and I can't wait to see you in Feb.

Thanks for breakfast Donna. I love me some Mickey Waffles!!

Ahh, Linda, Kenny is a boy after my own heart! I love shooting the whip cream in my mouth like that. DH thinks it's disgusting. Well poo-poo on him. I'll just do it when he's not looking. It's not like I'm licking the nozzle or anything. Sheesh!!!

In other news, I booked my Segway Tour for 7:45am on Saturday. :woohoo: It's a bit early but that's ok.

Well, better get on with my day. Talk to you all later.

2x2....I'm saying a prayer for your grandma and little Luca! :grouphug: It's hard when you have family members sick and in the hospital, but it seems it is even harder when it is around the holidays!

I'm sorry to hear about the mom thing. I haven't talked to my mother in over a year. The ball is in her court and she has chosen to not to volley back. Whatever, my life is much less hectic without all the unneeded drama. Some people think it's sad, I think my life is much more serene and calm without her in it. My sister called yesterday, crying, on the edge preparing for the dysfunction which is our family to come over for dinner. I remember all too well those days. No thanks, sis, I got off that horse long ago. I know what you mean about her thinking "everything is ok now." My mom and I have had so many problems and she continues to make poor, horrible choices and be completely inappropriate. She refuses to address the issues and she shuts down and shuts you out when you try. She thinks that giving gifts, taking you on trips (these things are always on her terms) magically make everything better. It's like a merry go round that leaves your head spinning. But I am digressing all over the place. I too only speak with my dad which is a whole other issue. He's an alcoholic and that is a whole different dimension all together but I try and make it work. :grouphug: Hang in there, and know you're not alone.
April...I am always heartbroken when I hear someones story like this. :grouphug: It's one of those things that you wish you were alone on because you don't want to think of anyone else going through that kind of pain. :sad1: My father was/is an alcoholic and was always drunk and never home. My mother was very abusive to me both physically and mentally. Now that I am grown up she tries and unfortunately sometimes succeeds on being very controlling. It seems funny how your parents can do anything to you and yet you still go on loving them and forgiving them. I do think there comes a point that you just have to say enough! She wants to pretend things are fine again until the next time  , but I can't do it anymore. It has gotten to the point I cannot trust her with my children because she says things to them. All I can say is that is has made me a somewhat stronger person and it sounds like you are too!

Sorry for the long sappy story!

I got to go dig up the rest of the Christmas decorations. I'll catch up on the rest later!

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Good morning everyone!

I had to go and catch up on everything I had missed! Thanks for the hugs for Keagan. He's much better this morning although he tried to tell me that he thought sitting in school would probably make his foot hurt more  . He's ready for his break! He goes on a track system year round for school so this is his last week until January. And believe me, by January we are both ready for him to go back to school :teeth:

April- good for you in taking the first step towards taking care of yourself! Way to go!

Donna- Thanks for the breakfast, as always! The recipe for the chocolate crepe things looks yummy. I'll have to give it a go. Oh, yes, Keaga is 8, although he would want me to tell you that he's, and I quote, "practically 9." :teeth: His birthday is in January and for some reason, 9 is a magic number for him :rotfl: . I wish I could join you all for the Feb trip. I'm sure Keagan would love to meet everyone's kids. But, we're going in May for a business trip my husband has, and we are thinking about doing a cruise November, sooo gotta save those dollars!

2x's-- prayers and hugs to you and your grandma & Luca! Don't worry about being a downer, friends are for good and bad times!

Lyzziesmom-- everytime my son embarasses me, I just remember that it won't be too long from now that I'll probably embarrass him during those teenage years when your parents are incredibly old fashioned, boring, embarrassing, and don't know anything. :teeth: Besides, I have scrapbooks full of embarrassing photo's and stories that I can always whip out for show and tell ;) .

Well, better earn my keep. Have a great day all!
Yolanda

April, I love your attitude!! Sheesh indeed.

Glad to see you booked your Segway tour, you're going to love it! It's completely worth getting up early for. It's so cool to be zipping around the World Showcase before it's opened up yet, seeing some of the "behind the scenes" stuff.

Yolanda, oh believe me, I have a ton of embarrassing stories ready to go for both girls' teenage years!!

Not gonna get any preaching here.... :rolleyes1 I did that too a few years ago. When we got bought out for the 2nd time we all just had checks sent to us....It didn't get re-invested... well.. maybe if you count my disney room :teeth: I am starting it back up this year though. They changed all the 401k matching and %'s etc. So now, if you invest 5%, they will invest 4%... I can't turn down FREE money!! I'm so glad you did find a way that wouldn't make you stress out :cool1:

His aunt asked if I minded that she do that whip cream in the mouth... I don't care... life is about having fun!! Life is just too short to be so anal about the little things!!If someone else minds...guess they aint getting no stinking cool whip :teeth:

April...yay for booking your segway tour :cheer2:

Lesa and April... I know how you feel about the problems the parents :grouphug: I've had an on and off relationship w/both of my parents and it has been for the best. It has made me a much stronger person and a better parent. They have to live w/their choices. Lesa you're right... we always forgive them and keep going on and on! That is too bad you have to worry about letting your girls around them and having to worry what she'll tell them  About like Kenny going to his dad and them always trying to put crap in his head!!!Grrrr!!!

Yolanda :rotfl2: Oh... school will make my foot hurt worse!! How cute!!
When Kenny was little we were shopping and he tells me..."if we don't go to the toys I'm gonna throw up"...I just said...ok, but if you do, you're gonna clean it up! He was just fine after that :confused3 :rotfl2:

Morning all!! (yes, it is still morning here in pozeyland)

Words cannot begin to describe how sore I am today. I worked on putting Christmas lights up on my house yesterday for nearly 4 1/2 hours! I bet I went up and down the ladder 250 times!! And besides that, walking on a sloped rooftop is not easy.

But I finally got all the lights up. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures yet though.

Speaking of pictures.......I am SO MAD at myself.......Colton had to wear his costume (he's playing a hillbilly named Bob Wire) to school today. They are having a dress rehearsal this morning. He looked AWSOME!! And I forgot to take his picture!! (need a forehead slapping smilie here). I'll try to take a picture later.

Speaking of the play.....
I need to send a shoutout to the other Tulsa area Cliqueless Cliquers.....Do any of you have Cox Cable? If so, I am told that BATV (channel 20) will air the play at some time in the future.

Yumm!! Thanks for the breakfast Donna!

2xcited I'm keeping your grandma and little Luca in my prayers. Hang in there. :grouphug:

April and Lesa...I feel for you. Makes my little family squabbles seem small. :grouphug: Stay strong.

Linda...great picture. My oldest DS and I love to do this. My DH and yougest would never even give it a try. :sad2: I personally think they are missing out on the fun stuff. DH was raised more on cool whip. We usually whipped our own cream but always had the canned whipped cream for homemade sundaes.

Yolanda...hope your DS does ok at school today. Was that break called a Lisfranc break? Those can be tricky to heal. Glad he has a school break coming up. :thumbsup2

Sophie goes to the vet today at 2pm...she didn't have a very good night last night...hope we can get her on the mend soon. :dog:

Hi neighbor  We do not have cox...we have Direct TV....darn. For some reason we coudln't get cox to come out when we moved over 5 years ago so we ended up with satellite. I will look forward to a piture or two. :thumbsup2 That reminds me...I might have one of my DS dressed as a farmer from his first grade play!

May I suggest a couple of Advil for those aching muscles? Glad to hear you negotiated the roof ok. ::yes::

Where's DznyFan today....Just thinking she might have some advice for my doggie!

I'm thinking - SHEESH! What is it with that girl?

Really, though, continued prayers for your family. Sometimes it just happens we get in these ruts where nothing goes right - it's overwhelming, it's depressing, and we just need some outside strength to help us cope. Hang in there, baby!

As for the decorating - ALWAYS Christmas music for the event. In fact, I'm so happy for Christmas music again!!

Nope, not real clear, there. Ummm she said fill out YOUR order....? But, as I often have to remind the DD when she gets mad at me for not understanding something, "I'm NOT psychic...".

Hi to EVERYONE, and Donna thanks for the waffle - YUM!!!!

pozey... if you get really bored :rolleyes1 you can come over to our house :teeth:j/k of coarse. I did a lot inside..but the only thing outside is the big Mickey. You sure did get your exercise! I did the same thing... forgot my camera :sad2: we went to the hockey game and the mascot...Stinger came over and finally came to our section and took pix w/all the kids... guess who forgot their camera :guilty: yes...big slap on the forehead for me too! Maybe another parent might have gotten a pix? I sure hope so. I'm sure he looked awesome!

Good luck at the vet Sophie!! :grouphug: Hopefully the vet can give her shots to get her better, right? I sure hope so.

better get some more work done :rolleyes1

I ran to wal mart at lunch :woohoo: I got the Chris Daughtry cd, Alan Jackson precious memories cd, Sugarland cd, power rangers dvd's 2 new ones came out today :cool1: so, there were a few last gifts I wanted to get. Now just waiting til Taylor Hicks comes out 12/12 for Mike and I'll be DONE :cheer2:
