Mornin' Sunshines!!!!!!
Did everyone sleep like little bundles of joy??
Am I the first one up this morning?? I'm not prepared!!!!!
It was kind of quiet here last night, huh?? I had a pretty boring day yesterday-----got a few things done, but not really. Then I got cabin fever and decided to go to Borders---spent a bit too much on holiday CD's--like I need another one like I need a hole in the head-----then went to Baskin Robbins. Yep, I did. Bad Pin-cess. I had German Chocolate Cake and boy was it yummy!!!! I then came home and made some homemade stew for dinner. It was just one of those comfort food days. Anyone want any leftovers?? This is the bad thing about living alone----I very rarely cook, even though I love to do it, because I have tons left over, especially something like this. I suppose I could freeze it, but that takes more work, right??
I read Visions of SugarPlums last night. I agree, it was strange but really cute. I'm glad I didn't read it in WDW though, and waited until now. Got me kind of in the Christmas spirit, even though it is not even a week after halloween. I'll re-name myself Macy. Get it?? Or was that really stupid?? Yeah, stupid. I digress. (sheepishly, I might add)
Onward James---
Michele---I'm sorry, but those shoe heely thingies
FREAK me out!!!!!! I mean seriously, if one feels the need to have wheels on shoes-----go rollerskating!!!! Okay, showing my age----rollerblading!!!!!!
Accident waiting to happen, I tell ya----but in inventor is rolling in the dough, I'm sure. Or rolling around somewhere----on the heelies.

siiiiiiiggggghhhh.
I hope Matt is getting used to his meds. It is a hard thing not knowing how your body will respond. Hugs to him for having to endure this.
Oh, and political commercials bashing the opponent too!!!!! Terrible!!
Where's Lesa??????????

HI Lesa!!!!!!!!!!
Donna---Oooh, I'm sorry Nathan's team didn't do very well. Did he take it okay?? Practice, practice, practice. You will be eating and sleeping B-ball, I'm sure.
Yes, I remember the Checkerdome very well!!!! I'm not a big hockey fan (bad girlie--since one of the most well known Blues players' wife is a client of mine) but I used to go the the Steamers' games all of the time. I was in eighth grade and had the biggest crush on Jeff Cacciatore. (yes, my crushes started young

) I
loved indoor soccer. I then went to a big soccer high school and loved it even more. Some of my high school friends (boys) went on to play pro. Too bad soccer is not a big deal anymore.
Lyzziesmom-----ooh, I'm sorry to you that DBF wasn't feeling well and your day didn't turn out as planned. At least you got to see him for a bit though. Did the girls warm up to him quickly?? Did you give him the watch??
Nicole----I want to see SC3. It looks so cute. I may wait a bit closer to Thanksgiving though. I hope it will still be out. I can't see them taking a holiday film away before the holidays. I wonder why they released it so early?? They're probably in kahoots with the malls in order to get us into purchasing more.
I completely over-analyzed The Lakehouse too!!!! Everyone is right---you need to just watch it for the joy of watching and not think too much about it.
Let me know how you like "Thank You for Smoking"----I had forgotten I wanted to see this.
Ash-----uuuhhh, Nanny McPhee-----another one I really want to see!!! Thanks for reminding me. It will go to the top of my "to see" flicks. Speaking of "flicks"-----anyone interested in "Flicka"?? I remember this book as a little girl but kind of want to see the movie. It just looks like a "feel good" type. Very touching.
I wish we all lived a bit closer to go see movies that maybe DH/DBF's maybe would not enjoy. I love going to movies.
I must be going. I am meeting my family at noon mass ----it is a memorial for my grandma. It is taking place at a beautiful cathedral-like church in a town where I grew up (Florissant) and this church has a long history with my family-----baptisms, weddings, and unfortunately funerals. The last time I was there was at her funeral. Wish my luck. I have tissues in my handbag.
I am then going to lunch with my mom and dad.
Everyone have a lovely Sunday.
Sorry I didn't come equipped with breakfast this morning. Poor Donna, never gets a day off.
Speaking of breakfast----I need to eat something----I'm thinking ..............
stew??..............
side note: after reading this post-----boy, I do talk alot.
