I would like to end my stay at Mk on Monday night, but that is the Pirate and Princess Party. What do you all think of that? I really haven't decided. Otherwise MK closes at 7pm. :sad2:

Where did 2x2s go? I hope I didn't offend her. Or, maybe she's......occupied.

I liked 50's Primetime Cafe...our group would work well there. :teeth: :joker:
I also liked LTT and Mama Melrose. :thumbsup2 I haven't tried Alfredo's or WCC but would love too. What are you thinking about parks? Did you guys notice that Epcot had extra magic hours on Friday...I think I noticed that...so that means what? Is world showcase open late or just future world?

I may have to borrow Emma's stroller by the time this is over. :teeth:

I just read about the Pirate and Princess Party. First of all, will JD be there and will he follow me back to POFQ?? He is a quarter French----oh wait, that's French Quarter. Ce la vie.

It sounds very similar to the Halloween party. MK closed off expect for hard ticket holders (price is similar as well). It's up to you guys---I'll do it if others want to.

Sorry, had a little computer "mishap"-------it's alive, though.

HI Ash----I thought of you today. I went to see the movie Marie Antionette and she had little puggy pups. So cute!!!!

Well, hootie owls...I guess I'll turn in...my back hurting for being on the computer all day.

night night :cloud9:

Goodnight, YM!!!

2xcited, I thought I saw a pug in the commericals!! How was the movie?? Tell me if it is worth seeing, if it is I might see it tomorrow.

Well, I have some bad news. I don't think I'm going to be able to make our little meet. There is a slight possibility but I don't want to get my hopes up about it..I'm feeling kind of depressed about this because I really, really wanted to meet you guys. :guilty: It's just that right now we have to save for Christmas and the final payment for the packages would be due in the middle of December so it isn't really enough time for me. I feel horrible because I really should have started saving sooner, but I guess I learned my lesson now. :guilty: I hope I can make it to later meet (actually scratch that, I KNOW I will make the next one!!!). Tonight I was looking at sharing a room with Lyzziesmom but even then I wouldn't be able to go. Just wanted to let everyone know. :guilty:

Night YM---

see ya morrow

(something my neice used to say----the morrow thing, not "night YM"-----cuz that would be, as Lyzziesmom says, just wierd. :teeth:

I need to get some sleep too----big cleaning day tomorrow. hehehe

Awww, Ash---that's a bummer!!!! Try your best, but we understand if you can't. You gotta do what you gotta do. You will be missed, though!!!!
Next time around, definitely!!

The movie-----well-----I'm not sure if you know that Sofia Copolla directed it and her style is a bit out there. I have never seen Lost in Translation so I have nothing to compare it to. I have heard it is very slow moving. Marie Antionette was slow too-----but in a good way, IMO. I actually really liked it!!!!! I would see it again. It is visually just stunning!!!! This is the main reason I saw it----it was filmed on the grounds of Versailles. I'm am not much of a history person, but I found it very interesting how Sofia portrays her as a very misunderstood teenager. She evidentally was a big "party-er" in her day and liked to spend money and gamble-----this got her into big trouble with the French people. You can really see her "harden" as the film goes on----but not her fault, really-----much to the fault of her surroundings and what she has to endure as the Queen at such a young age.
As I have mentioned before, I love music and was really anxious to see what type of music she put with the film. I was a bit, oh, how shall I say, brow raised at the fact that some scenes had modern music. On the other hand, other parts had the traditional period music----dulcimers, harp, etc.
I honestly really enjoyed it, even though I heard others say it was too slow, etc. I do like those artsy films, though.

eta---I really am not a huge Kirsten Dunst fan---could take her or leave her, but she really did an amazing job in this role. You really could "feel" her emotions and what her character was going through.

The ending is very abrupt, also.

oh, and forgot to mention----there are literally about 20 lines in the entire movie---imagine that??

This concludes my segment of movie reviews. Next up----how to make a turkey dinner using only canned items. :teeth:

Ash--

I just re-read your post and caught the point about the payment due in December. I just wanted to let you know that when I went for my solo trip last Feb., I didn't even call to inquire until mid Dec./early Jan. Just a thought, think about it. Maybe if you still continue saving?? I don't know----I don't want to get your hopes up either, but I just got to thinking. ;)

Good moning everyone! This morning I'm hungry for pancakes. How's that sound?

I hope everyone has a SWEET SATURDAY!! :sunny:

Oh, Ashley. I read your post from last night. There for sure will be other meets!!! :thumbsup2 Perhaps if you just wait a bit and see what the New Year brings. You may never know what will happen.(Drop some hints that you would like $cash$ for Christmas.) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Lil' Chick. :goodvibes

Well, Nathan has his first basketball game today at 2pm. Wish us luck, we've only had one practice.

Talk with you all later, have a good day!!! :cool1:

thanks Donna...I like your ticker too :cool1: I'm getting so excited!!

that accident is unreal. It says attempted suicide/criminal damaging. The police report says everything. He was fighting w/his wife... took off and called her back a few minutes later and told her too go outside. He sped past her at 80 mph and ran straight into a utility pole, then into our yard and a few other yards. He was ejected from the car, stood up and collapsed. the wife witnessed the whole thing. it has her statement and everything. she is 19, he's 21 and she told him she didn't want to be married anymore. it lists his meds and everything. he was admitted to hospital for the suicide attempt. boy oh boy, I hope he gets some help!
Wow......that is absolutely horrible.
I feel so bad for both of them.

I'm not sure if I had ever mentioned this before, but my father committed suicide when I was 13. That's why my I think my mother was the most wonderful person in the world. She had to continue to raise me and my brothers after that happened. And she did so with dignity and class.
