Just got back from Matt's game. We won 26-14 but...Matt didn't get to play. The game was just too close until the very end He is really disappointed. Coach told him he will play a lot next week The refs were horrible. It really seemed like they wanted the other team to win. I could barely watch the 3rd quarter, I literally had my face in my hands

Happy to hear that Matt has finally gotten to suit up. Sad to hear that he hasn't gotten to play yet. His time will come.

I don't think I've ever asked........what position does he play?

Two of my favorites.....Tonga Toast and the Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes!! We at breakfast at Kona Cafe several times on our past 2 trips to WDW. DW would usually order the pancakes and I would order Tonga Toast. Then we would split each and share with each other.

Are any of you big "The Bachelor" fans? If so, do you remember a few seasons back - I think the guy was the football player?

If you do remember, do you remember the final 2 girls? One was a girl from Oklahoma who threw up just before the final ceremony?

Does anyone remember that?

I can't wait to eat at Kona for breakfast. I have eaten there once for dinner and it was very good. Which do you prefer--Tonga Toast or Pineapple Mac. Pancakes??


I vaguely remember this Bachelor episode. If you remember names this may jog my horrible memory. Do you know the throw up girl??

You have NO IDEA how many of my female friends have asked me things along this line. He's had girls of ALL ages after him for as long as I can remember. I'm talking friends of mine to friends of Erin's back when she was 11, 12ish have had crushes on that boy. He's kind of high-maintenance in a guy sort of way - in that there's been NO sign of commitment (until recently) - he likes girls who are completely independent, must be extremely intellectual, and have no problem with his occasional overindulgence. He's been known to embarrass his sister to the point of her wanting to crawl under a rock when he's been partaking - he's famous for doing this intentionally, of course (embarrasing her).
This is typical:

Darn, looks like I'm out of the running. Independent, yes. This intellectual part--hmmmm, not so much. J/k , of course.
He'd better watch it, Erin looks like she has a mean backhand!!




What's the plans for the weekend??

We know what Miss Ash is doing---lucky luckinson!!!!

I'm supposed to work for a couple of hours tomorrow--still trying to get my Saturdays in order---then, depending on the weather I am supposed to go to a Jazz Festival. Should be fun if it is not raining.

I think I liked the Pancakes ever so slightly more. The only reason is that the Tonga Toast is VERY sweet. Maybe just a little TOO sweet. Don't get me wrong, I loved them......but just in moderation.

Her name was Tara. She was one of the final 2 - and eventually did NOT get picked. She had to pull over and throw up just before the final ceremony.

Anyway.......a few months back I get a call from a headhunter asking if I would be interested in a job that had come open. And her name was Tara Huckaby. I knew that name sounded familiar. So, anyway, I went and met with her and we talked about the job opportunity. Well, the job wasn't something I wanted to pursue, but she has kept my resume.

Well, yesterday she called again with something else. Well, she left a message. So I have to call her back today. But she is the same Tara that was on the Bachelor.

She is a very nice girl. And she is stunning as well.

How's Courtney doing with her uncasted arm?? Does it feel strange to her not to have it on??

She is doing well. She has adjusted to not having it on very quickly. She's pretty much back to normal.

This is what I have heard about Tonga Toast. I figured one of us can get this, the other can get the pancakes and then finally, someone can get some sort of egg dish. This way we will have a nice balance. But, I haven't thought about it too much, have I??

Wow looks like I missed a bunch of stuff last night. I was too busy watching my Thursday night tv. I'm so glad rerun season is over! I don't have too many shows that I must watch - thanks to tivo - but I always have to catch E.R. and Desperate Housewives.

pozey - I am not a Bachelor watcher but that is still pretty cool about maybe working with that girl!

2x - I hope this doesn't throw a wrench into your menu planning, but I may have mentioned that I am a very picky eater. I like plain food - I don't want to ruin perfectly good pancakes by putting fruit on them!!

Another cute Emma story: Apparently yesterday my mom was letting Emma color with markers and mom looked away for a few minutes while she was on the phone. She looked back and Emma had completely colored her hand and started coloring up her arm. My mom said "Emma! What did you do?" and Emma answered, "Tattoo!"

Where on earth does she get this stuff from?

How do I remember? Well, I watched that season of the Bachelor. Don't think I've watched it since though.

I don't know. I do know that she dated a former OU football player who I know. He doesn't speak highly of her. Bad breakup.
