YM and Pozey - I didn't find out until yesterday evening what all the hoopla was about over the Oregon/OU game. We were out and about on Saturday, and were in the mall when that play happened. We came out to the commentators on the radio going on and on about some bad call, but I'm so dang out of touch I didn't see it until yesterday. Yeah, OU is 3 - 0, IMO. That was just wrong. Gotta love Stoops, though, I love the way he handles controversy and negative situations, he's a class coach all the way.
Yep......I think it is a story that isn't going to quite die down for several weeks.....

I'm still kind of stinging from it.

Thanks for the kind comments. I think Coach Stoops is a class act as well. And DW likes him because she thinks he's hot. :confused3

Donna...that looks so yummy I bumped my nose on the screeen. :teeth:

Pozey....did you say hot. :rolleyes1 Ok...this will give you a laugh...when Les Miles (I know he's probably not your favorite) came to the Cowboys I thought he had lovely eyes. Now, by the time he left I wasn't sure what was behind them...but look who we have now for a coach. :rolleyes1

I'm a OSU grad but I always root for Oklahoma when they aren't playing osu...I also love TU...just like to support the state and the big twelve...well at least most of the time. My least favorite team is Texas but I still pulled for them over USC.

Hey DznyFan...

Ashley....young lady....GO PACK!(yes, I'm a mom now) :teeth: :rotfl: Sorry you are sad about Ruby... :goodvibes

Hey MI mom...just feel like I should say good luck to you (everyday!) :teeth:

Well, I'm off for a little socializing....catch you guys a bit later.

Okay......I think my DW is officially bonkers.

Here's the story.......(oh goody.....another pozey story.... )

We usually go out to eat every Saturday - the whole family goes, not just us. So, 3 weeks ago, we went to Ted's Cafe Escondido before the OU football game. Two weeks ago we went to Ted's Cafe Escondido AFTER the OU football game. Last Saturday, if you will remember, I tried to talk her into trying some place we hadn't been before - Bonefish Grill. Nope. She needed her Mexican fix. So we went to.....yep....Ted's Cafe Escondido.

Now, I love Mexican food as much as she does, and Ted's is excellent, but every once in awhile something different would be nice.

So......we are going to the OU football game this coming Saturday. It starts at 6:00 p.m., so we will eat somewhere before going to the game. I e-mailed her earlier and asked where she wanted to eat. I told her that the Cheesecake Factory restaurant just opened a week or so ago and maybe she would like to go.

Can you guess what her response was??? :rolleyes1

I'm thinking we're going to have our very own private table at Ted's pretty soon.

"Welcome back to Ted's pozey family. Your usual?"

There is nothing wrong w/that ;) I would have to try somewhere else though...maybe Teds every OTHER weekend :teeth: when I traveled installing the phone eq... it was like that in restaurants b/c you eat out 2 or 3 meals a day!!! you became a regular pretty quick. I'm so glad I can eat at home now... hmmm you should take her to Palo... you know...on the disney cruise :rolleyes1 adult only...she'd give up Teds for that :smooth:

Hello everyone!

I typed out a long response this morning and then the internet went down. I have not been able to do anything all day.

pozey, Mike and I usually go to the same places. He loves Olive Garden, so we eat there all the time. In fact, we had it last night (although I couldn't get what I really wanted, because it's made with spinach. :furious: )

OK, I am getting ready to go home soon. I get to DIS for a few minutes. I can't DIS at home because I have to clean tonight (I'm in the process of rearranging furniture). If I DIS, it will never get done. Talk to everyone later!!! :wave2:

I'm home from work but I need to go to the mall in a minute. Our gym teacher and his wife had a baby girl the end of June. Since school was out we didn't do anything for them. We were talking the first week of school about what we should get them, etc. Well fast forward to today and I was asked what I got them :earseek: I forgot!!! It's never been my job before. :sad2: So I have to go shopping for baby stuff, princess: How fun!!

We had a very uneventful day today!! AAAHHH!!! the best kind!!

Pozey, you aren't in a rut...you are starting a tradition. Think of Ted's that way!

Matt's cell phone arrived in the mail today. I can't believe it showed up almost a month after he lost it

I love Olive Garden. Blake is in TN, so it's just me and the kids. Hmmm, maybe I'll go pick up the salad and breadsticks for dinner tonight. I hate to cook!!

yumm Olive Garden is great! Michele... you hate to cook...:) I like to cook but hate the mess... love to bake  baby shopping... I love baby shopping :cool1: ..ok I love about any kind of shopping :cheer2:

Amber... I hear you there...no spinach salad at our favorite restaurant Sat :sad2: ... it was a nice romantic evening alone... SkyWay East...nicest place there is in little ole Mansfield... nice low lit atmosphere w/candles on your table...that is where I took him on our first date :teeth: it was his birthday and I surprised him and told him we had to go there... very special place :cloud9: have fun re-arranging

:wave2: hi everybody

Well just out of sheer curiosity (and maybe a pinch of boredom) I went over to the Disney website and priced out a couple options for Feb 2nd - 6th. For a package with the dining plan and just base tickets, POFQ would run $1071.62 for one adult and Pop would be $688.02 for the same thing (preferred room, of course).

Now I don't know about anyone else, but $400 is a LOT of money for me, and I'd happily sacrifice a little bit of scenery to save four hundred bucks. Of course we don't all have to stay at the same place, but it would be so much easier if we did.

Just some food for thought.

Just got a reminder.........Courtney goes to the doctor tomorrow morning to have her cast removed!! Woo Hoo!! :yay:

I agree. $400 is alot for me too. I would have no problem staying at Pop again, and I would like it if we all stayed in the same resort too. Even if some people are at different resorts. Lyzziesmom, you and I could stay at Pop, then maybe some people at a moderate, and even some at a deluxe or SOG. Thanks for looking up those prices, Jeremiah has been asking me for a budget. :goodvibes

OH NO I most likely have mono :faint: !!!!

I had some blood taken today and I will get the results tomorrow. The dr all ready has me started on antibiotics and he gave me a cortisone shot to alleviate(sp?) the pain. It has all ready started working at least.
