It's too early, Lesa!!! There are us early morning posters, the afternoon posters, a few early evening posters, and then there is the hooty owl session!!! I can't always join in the hooty owl session!!! :rotfl2:
Are you going to be able to go to WDW in Feb? I am so excited! I haven't taken a girls only trip since 1994!!! :woohoo:

I have to say that I fall more under the early morning posters, as I am not a night owl. Especially since school started, this is actually late for me.

I am hoping to be able to go in Feb. I have never been on a trip without the whole gang tagging along. I am in desperate need of some me time! :yay:

Well hello and good night to all you late night gals!!!! It's off to bed for me!

I don't mind fall if the sun is shining! :sunny: It's the long dark cold days that I hate!

:wave2: Goodnight Lesa :wave2: Goodnight Donna

I think I am going to go to bed too so that I can catch breakfast with Donna, I think we should eat it at one of those outside tables that face the little pond/lake near the ice cream parlor on Main Street. It can be a peaceful spot in the morning and a great view of the castle!

Hi everyone :wave2:

I just got back from Walmart :crazy2: to purchase a 12 pack of Coke, (I am totally addicted to Coca Cola!!!) and of course they have every single soda on the face of the Planet but there is no Coke, even in those mini bottles. :confused3 I think they might have had a sale and it got cleaned out!

And I didn't do any non-necessary shopping either. :teeth: :thumbsup2 (It's a thumb!!!) The only thing I have left to get for the trip is a battery for my 35mm camera and a haircut! Last time Jeremiah & I were at Disney together in November 2004(I've been there 3 times without him since :rolleyes1 ) the battery in the camera died and it cost some insane amount to purchase a new one..I don't want to make that mistake again!!

Jeremiah & I are doing much better. Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

Linda, I am looking forward to Survivor tomorrow night! It should be interesting!!!

Looks like everyone is going to bed!

Goodnight, and talk to you all tomorrow!!

Hi 2xcited, incase you decide to drop by tonight!! :teeth: Hope you had a good day!!!

We ended up geting a 2 liter...I hate 2 liters with a passion but I need my coke in the morning!! Jeremiah said he would stop by on the way from work tomorrow and get a 12 pack! :cool1:

Hmmm, everone sleeping, I presume?? Oh, I don't blame you--look at the time.

Sorry I couldn't join earlier--just wasn't feeling so hot tonight. Still not, but I just can't sleep.

I really have not gone back and read today's chatter so I will try to catch up possibly tomorrow night or Friday evening.

Sunday is my momma's b-day so I am meeting her for lunch Friday after work (I get finished around 1:30) and then she requested my sister and I prepare her b-day meal on Sunday instead of going to a restaurant. We haven't decided on the menu but since we are all trying to eat fairly healthy we are swaying along the lines of salmon---but one problem---my dad hates orange fish (as my niece has called it since she could speak:goodvibes ) so we may have to come up with a little something different for him. Maybe some simple steaks out on the grill with Bernaise or wine sauce?? Haven't decided. She wants something chocolate so I am thinking about the molten cakes with a creme anglaise since I have never made it for them. I had to spoil the surprise because my mom can be a bit sentimentally strange at times. I had to make sure she would not be disappointed that there is not a "cake" for her to have a candle in and cut. I know, sounds wierd, but sure as shootin', she questioned me when I threw out the idea of a "dessert" instead of a "cake". "It depends, what is it??", she asked. She was okay with the idea when I told her what I had in mind. We can still put a candle in hers and the kids can spit all over hers. :teeth:
So, long story long----I don't know how much time I will be able to spend here this weekend because I will be marketing and wearing my apron and chef's hat.

Speaking of restaurants----I ran to O'Charley's ( a chain) for a quick bite after work today. Here is what I ordered---Black and Bleu Ceasar Salad----which consists of romaine lettuce, tomato, bleu cheese, bacon and sliced pieces of steak cooked to your liking all with a ceasar dressing. So, I order this because I have had it many times (not lately though--but that's not really relevant). BUT---due to my diet restrictions, here is how I order it---keep in mind my EXACT words to my waiter----"I would like the Black and Bleu salad with no bacon and no bleu cheese--so basically just the lettuce, steak and tomato, and I would like oil and vinegar on the side, please". Well, the salad is presented to me (by a different guy) with the bottles of oil and vinegar at the same time. I take a look at the salad and it is swimming in dressing. My waiter is nowhere to be found so I asked someone else to get him for me. Here's how it went:

Pin-cess: "I'm sorry, but there is dressing all over this salad."

Waiter: "You said just no bacon and no cheese--you never said that you didn't want the Ceasar dressing."

Pin-cess: (with a raised brow) "I assumed when I specified oil and vinegar on the side (pointing and glancing at the bottles appropriately marked) that this meant NO dressing." Smile.

He then stood there and literally shrugged his shoulders with hands out to his side resembling, I kid you not--------> :confused3 :confused3 , like that!!!!

After a few seconds of a stare down (me smiling the whole time) he finally grabbed the salad and brought me one without dressing. (I was a bit worried what he did to it in the kitchen, though-----blah!!!!!!)

Sorry, but this Pin-cess was not backing down. I mean, come on, was this his first time doing this??

Sorry to sound harsh but was I being a spoiled brat?? Was I not clear?? Be honest, I can take it---seriously, I'd like to know if I was at fault.

With all of this talk about Cassanova's (hi Kenny!! :wave2:  ) I must share a nephew story. He is 5 and lately he is into playing "used car lot"--I know, don't ask---he LOVES cars and knows his stuff. Anyway, my sister was telling me over the phone--quietly of course not to embarrass him--that they were playing the other day and she said, "I'll take the red Ferrari." He responds with, "Oh, your husband will love that one." :lmao: She then makes conversation with her "salesman" and asks if he is married or has kids. His response--"No, I'm just a grown up. I haven't "choosed" anybody yet. Well, there is this one girl--Elana (a family friend's daughter who is about 4yrs. older)--maybe I'll choose her." AWWWW
While my sister was telling me this I hear him tell her something so I chime in saying to tell him to save me a car because I'm in the market for a new one. My sister tells him and he says "sure" but then I hear him whisper to her, "it's only a game."
That silly Aunt Pinc-ess---what is she thinking?? :sad2: :lmao: :lmao:

Whew, three stories in one post. A tad windy this late night/early morning, aren't I??
I need to go back to sleep----another treatment tomorrow and work too.

Catch you all later!!!

Ash----

I have been rethinking Jellyrolls, too. Main reason----I want you to go----so maybe for your 21st?? :teeth: :grouphug:
The more I am reading about it, yeah, it sounds fun but also sounds very smoky and very LOUD. I guess I was picturing some quaint little loungey place with piano playing. So maybe we can find somewhere where we all can sit and have an actual conversation and those who want to drink can and those who want a "virgin" can too. (cuz Jill and I have to sing the Pina Colada song still ;) )

This is just my suggestion--doesn't have to be set in stone or Bedrock (boy, it's late)----any thoughts from anyone else??

Illumination cruise sounds lovely as well!!! :sunny: pirate:

Good morning..

I love the idea of an Illuminations cruise. We were going to do one years ago. Had it booked and everything but ended up cancelling it, trying to save money. Would love another chance.

Open house was boring as usual. Oh goody I have the high school one tonight.

Matt tried to go to open gym at the HS last night and play basketball. Well the BB coach was there and HE wouldn't let him play without a note from his doctor either. Poor kid. Think good thoughts for him today. We have another re-check with the orthopedist, hopefully he will write Matt a real note.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!
Precious Pixie's idea of eating breakfast at the little outdoor cafe area by the Plaza restaurant at MK was great!!!! I found some quiche to share among us while we're waiting for the park to open.
baconquiche.jpg

Enjoy!!!
Hope everybody has a Tremendous Thursday!!!!!
(I see Michele posted already. :wave2: )

YM::You will be in Dayton this weekend? What route are you taking? If you are any where near St. Louis or South Central Illinois, don't forget to give 2x2s and I a wave as you zoom by!!!

2x2s::That story is too cute about your Nephew!!! I guess they are afraid we don't know reality from make believe!! :teeth:
And no, you were not over reacting about your salad. Only an idiot would have messed up that order. You're paying for it, get it the way you want it!!
I'm so glad you have been feeling better, but sounded like you may have been a bit too tired last night! Take care of yourself!! You know the Pin-cess is very special to alll of us!! princess:

Hello Everyone! :wave2:

Donna, thanks for breakfast. I love sitting at those tables and eating breakfast.

2x2s, It sounded like you did not want any dressing on the salad. I have gone places before and ordered a different dressing than what came on the salad. No one has ever put both. I think your waiter was just

Ashley, I can't believe you only have 8 days!!! I would be bouncing off the walls.

Nicole, you don't have much more to go either!!

Michele, good luck with the doctor. Hopefully, he'll let Matt practice. Sending pixiedust:

lyzziesmom, I hope the move is going well.

Has anyone heard from April??

I am watching TLC one of their medical show I cant remember the name, anyhoo A guy came home from surgery and really wasnt feeling well so after a couple days he wen back to the hospital and described the symptoms. They didnt sound normal to the dr so he ordered an xray and found that they had sewed him back up leaving in him a 6 inch metal tool. I cant remember what they said the name was but they almost looked like scissors. Statistics show that items get left behind often, the most often item left behind are swabs.
that is just scary! Survivor tonight!! I've never been a coffee drinker either...smell turns my stomach! Mike loves his Coke too!! I have to have my Mt. Dew!! I take my own to wdw and on cruise :teeth: ahhh I love our hot tub...feels so great!!! I would love a pool but Mike says no way :( too much work.... such great exercise and so much fun!!

Linda, Kenny sounds like a real sweetheart. You had better watch him with the ladies!

Oh and don't worry about Disney, I have a trunk load of American Girl stuff I'm thinking about pawning if it's not picked up soon!

He is a total sweetheart. So sweet and sensitive :cloud9: My mom already told him she's going to go to jail b/c the first girl that breaks his heart is gonna get her butt kicked :rotfl2: ... Hmmm AG stuff??? Do you really have AG stuff you want to sell??? I have 2 neices that are  over that stuff. I bought Jess for the oldest but now gotta get something for the younger one!! of coarse my sister suggested the newest doll that just came out... boy those girls are expensive!! I keep saying I'm going to spend less on them...but it never happens!! She said all the bedding was on clearance and she's getting that for her...just took her to the AG store in Chicago...they're nuts about that stuff...but I guess they're no worse than I am w/disney :smooth:

Man, a friend of mine (he's an older (22) friend of my DD's - they met in theatre and has become friends with all of us - we took him on his first trip to WDW this past December) IM'd me today asking questions about Disney cruises! he wants to go on one, and go with a friend, but doesn't know who - somebody who could pay their way - asked me if I wanted to go along!!! Not that it surprised me, we get along well, (and suspect he's gay) but I just wish I could! I told him I'd help him plan his and live vicariously through him. Even though I would in a heartbeat, I just don't think the DH would be too keen on it - (imagine that!

wouldn't that be awesome..I know what he means though... you have to pay for 2 regardless and just finding someone that can pay their own way can be difficult. If he's in theatre... hmmm he should get a job on board...then he'd get free cruises for friends and family..and we could go see him on there...or maybe Erin would like to be Cinderella onboard the Magic ::yes:: that would be awesome!! I talked to Hercules quite a bit a few years ago and he said he got like 2 or 3 free cruises for his family or friends to come see him..that would be so awesome...of coarse further down the chain didn't get as much as him...
