Good Morning!!

I just finished reading. I really have to DIS when at home; I just miss way too much.

Ashley, I have the same problem with my hair. It is SO THICK. Mike likes it shorter, so it is right above my shoulders (I have grown it past my butt several times). I can't do anything with it, except put it in a ponytail. I do wear it down sometimes, but it puffs up. I end up looking like a mushroom.

I found though that if I use Sunsilk anti-poof prducts, it's managable.

Donna, I'm sorry about the haircut. I dread getting my hair cut, but since Mike likes it shorter, I brave it.


I am going to work on Mike this weekend and see if we can move up our trip from April to Feb. I'm not sure if it will work, but we'll see. If that doesn't work, then we have to meet in April 2008 (I am hoping to renew our vows at WDW). You can all come!

Good Morning!

I don't think I'll be able to make the trip. Steven said it is still just too soon. If we didn't have this trip and the Vegas trip we would go! Now I want to cancel the vegas trip, but I can't! Oooh maybe next year or the year after we all could go to Vegas! If I win a nice amount of money in Vegas, that will go towards the trip!

Donna- Thanks for breakfast! Sorry about your hair.

Ash- I have the same problems with my hair, Right now it is shoulder length, I probley will get it cut in a week or two. I need to dye it too. Can ya'll believe it, I am only 23 but I need to dye my hair already! I think I am going grey prematurely! I don't have alot, but it makes me self conscience! 15 more days! 20 more days for me!

I am such a wimp! If EE didn't go backwards I would ride it! (well...maybe) I have never ridden EE, RNRC, Splash, or TOT! Steven is such a thrill junkie and I'm not!

Good morning ladies.

I just finished reading the pages upon pages I missed out on last night. Good to see that your plans for a (mostly) ladies only trip in February are coming together.

I am leaving work early today. I have to take Courtney to the doctor at 1:45 this afternoon. I think they want to take x-rays to make sure that her arm is healing as it should. I am not certain whether they will be able to take x-rays through her cast or if they will have to remove it and put another cast on.

And here is the funny thing......she does NOT want her cast removed!! I'm thinking she is going to be upset if they have to take it off to x-ray her arm.

Not sure if anyone here is much of a golf fan or not.....

Anyway, there is a women's pro golf tournament going on this week here in Broken Arrow.

Well, yesterday while me and the boys were looking for a place to eat before their swim practice, we see a sign that Annika Sorenstam is at Golf Galaxy. So, I ask the boys if they want to go in to see if we could see her. They were filming the Golf Channel show Golf Academy Live there.

wow pozey..that is awesome! Good luck to our little princess... Courtney for her dr. appt. today. That is so cute. I broke my arm when I was 6 and I didn't want to take my cast off either... I didn't have to say the pledge at school..I got tons of attention from everyone babying you...come on...would you want that to end so quickly

Nicole, I've never been to Vegas...But I love to gamble Before I moved up to VA, they opened the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood (FL) and Jeremiah and I would go there and I would play the slot machines They get addicting! When we were visiting Florida at Christmas, everyone was exhausted on Christmas day but Jeremiah & I and nothing else was open so where did we go- Hard Rock! I am normally lucky and I won like $300 that night! It was really exciting. But you have to know when to stop, so you don't LOSE all the money!

Linda, I was just trying to talk Jeremiah into coming now that Mike and Kenny are, but I think he's relieved he doesn't have to go! He loves Disney, but he doesn't love Disney like I do, and he said it will be easier to save up for just one person.

Back from school, another exciting day. Well it was partially exciting...we had to close the girls bathrooms. In the downstairs one the toilets were overflowing, while they were working to clear that up they realized that everytime someone would flush upstairs it would flood more so we had to close both of them!! Finally brought in a plumber who took out most of the toilets. They snaked to 125 feet and pulled out all kinds of cloth. What do these girls do in there?!?! They were putting the toilets back in when we left, hopefully tomorrow everything will be good. The girls were able to use the smaller bathrooms, I don't want anyone to think that they just had to hold it all day

I have to go shopping in a bit...Right now I have 4 high school football players over plus my own. They don't live in the city and since this is game day they don't have practice after school and have to be a the field around 5pm. I hope this won't become a weekly event. I don't think my budget can take it Boys this age are always hungry.

Is it February yet?

Mike didn't know it was a girls only trip... until I told him what YM's husband said..then he's like...well do you and Kenny just want to go? w/that puppy dog look on his face....no that's ok....He doesn't really care about disney at all but knows that I LOVE it so he does it for me my x and I always had separate vacations and it just wasn't good so I really don't want to start that again. That would be awesome if Jeremiah came...but if he decides not to... that's nice he wants to have more for you to spend !! I've been to vegas...my dad use to live there...it was fun...I'd definitely go to Atlantic City before you go to vegas b/c I went to Vegas the first time when I was 17...and not even old enough to gamble then went to atlantic city... ewwww.... what a dive!! not even close!!! big let down compared to vegas!! I love hard rock though!!! definitely try some good products... I've used nothing but professional products for the past 15 years!!! big difference!

Courts did have to get a new cast. They took the old one off to do another x-ray. The arm is healing well. But the doc wants the cast to stay on another 2 weeks. We go back on the 21st.

She was a little upset that they had to remove the old cast. But she was okay with picking another color. She chose RED.

I forgot my camera in my office at work, so it'll be a few days before I can post a picture of the new cast.

we just stayed at pop...since it was Mikes first trip... 10 nights...we tried to get sog but they were booked...hey..I wonder if sog is booked for Feb? If so we may be able to get an overflow rate for the other resorts much cheaper than the rack rates...HMMMM..that would be awesome!! he just went up to the food court everyday. He's always up EARLY so he'd go get coffee at like 6am everyday!! yes, we were at the parks at opening no problem I've never drank coffee...but I sure love my Mt. Dew!!

Well we just got back from Matt's football game. We won 50-14 Matt got to film the first half from on top of the press box. Then during the second half he did the announcing. He loved that!!

Well the boys didn't eat me out of house and home today. Luckily we went to the apple orchard on Monday so they ate a lot of apples. That I could handle.

Nobody is very talkative on here today, what gives? I think we are all just too tired. I know I am, going to bed soon.

You were all too funny with all the talk about your hair. Mine is a couple of inches past shoulder length, curly and tends to frizz. If I let it go it looks that that lady in the Dilbert cartoon with the triangular hair! Not Good!! I can't do my hair. I swear I am cosmetically challenged, I have never been good with the blow dryer, curling iron thing. I wash it, comb it, put some cream in it, pull it into a barrette and let it air dry. I get to work most days with still damp hair.

Pozey I'm glad Courtney was able to get a new cast that she likes. Nick broke his arm in the 2nd grade and I just this year got him to throw the pieces of his cast away. Kids are so funny about certain things.

Hey everyone,

I just got back from dinner. I heard there was a new Smokey Bones (BBQ place) that opened near us, so I was excited and we went there. I used to love Smokey Bones when we lived in Florida and always craved it!

Unfortunately, they just opened 3 days ago so the waiters were still getting used to everything, and I guess the chefs too. The food was just OK, not as good as it usually is!!! I'm going to try it again in a couple weeks. It took forever to just get sodas and appetizers. We got there at 7:30 and didn't get out until 9:40!!! It took forever.

I don't know if Matt will be able to play this year or not. I'm thinking he won't. He starts rehab on Monday and sees the doc on Thurs for the latest recheck. I don't want to rush it. He needs to be healthy for basketball season plus he told me yesterday that he wants to play tennis in the spring. He usually does baseball so this surprised me but...Nick has suddenly gotten interested in tennis also and wants to play when he gets to HS. I guess it rubbed off on Matt. That or he can't bear the thought that Nick could be good at a sport that he didn't play.


The principal called me into his office this afternoon and tells me that he wanted to ask me a question but couldn't remember what it was and did I know Excuse me? So I said sure, you wanted to know if I would like to take tomorrow off with pay!! He says no that was my second question, what was the first? Told him I didn't know about the first question but the answer to the second, was YES!! Sometimes he is so weird. What is really strange for me is that he was my English teacher when I was a junior in HS. It was weird to work for him when I started.
