Who here is done with their taxes?

I am! Finnished them last night, they just await my DH's signature (he works nights so he wasn't home when I finnished. I'll be able to mail them tomorrow, and with a little luck, should have our refunds deposited no later than early March. (I refuse to pay to e-file the federal taxes, and due to a complicated situation, we can't e-file our state taxes either ).

Anyone else a totally organized type A person that's already ready to file?

My tax guy is working on it right now! Ready to efile tomorrow. He makes it manditory and it is part of the 65 dollars he charges.

Please don't flame, we have two state taxes to deal with andt his guy usually makes it a wash, and every time we try we owe both!

We would have been! My DH was all excited when I brought my W-2 home over a month ago. But my DH is a student, and we are still waiting for forms from the school.

We're ready to file but won't be until April 14th - we owe for the first time ever! I am actually happy as it means we have had an interest free loan for a year as opposed to the other way around.

Dh's already mailed the NC state but we are waiting on my W2 to file SC and federal. As soon as they come (should be this week) taxes will be in the mail.

I e-filed last night and am awaiting turbo tax's email letting me know the IRS accepted my return.

I've got everything put into Taxcut and ready to go, and I'm ready to get my tax refund. But I can't send it yet . SallieMae has messed up (yet again!) and I'm having to wait for them to fix something with my husband's 1098-E student loan interest form .

DH will do our sons' taxes and he has filed an extension for ours, which I will mail in April along with an estimated check. He is leaving for Iraq next Sunday.

I e-filed ours last Friday. State refund was deposited into our savings account yesterday, and we'll receive the federal refund on Feb. 10th.

As an FYI, you can file your federal return for free with Tax Act online. I'm sure there are other sites out there as well.

My DH has entered all the info into Turbo Tax, but he is adament that we still need to get one more form from his former employer. I think he is full of it, but we will wait to see if this mystery form comes.

I just got my W2's today..finally. Off they go to my BIL and as soon as he is done with them, we'll be filing. Usually it takes him about 1 week to get them back to us. I am hoping for a refund this year, but you never know. We usually have to pay the state.
