Who has the fastest way to get to MK for a 7:30am tour?

When we went on the steamtrain tour at MK a number of years ago we were told we could park at the Contemporary and walk over. When we got to the guard shack we told him why we were there and he let us in.

We have to be in the MK at 7am, 7:15 the latest! Thanks for the info. How long does it take to walk from the Contemporary?

Before you plan on parking at the Contemporary, you better find out if it is possible. They have been turning lots of people away. It may depend on when you go as well. Your only other option will be to park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to the park.

During Christmas week this year with SSR tag in our car, we parked at the Beachclub and Boardwalk resorts many times, with no questions asked.

I'll take my chances.

Thanks.

Bet you would have been turned away if you tried to park at the CR during that time. Good luck, anyway.

I'd arrive early and have a backup plan just in case you're not allowed into the Contemporary to park. You wouldn't want to miss your tour if they don't let you in. Good luck!

Uhhhh.....why don't you just call back and ask them where to park???? Since this is a planned tour, I'm sure they will give you the CORRECT answer.

Good idea. Just hope that I get a CM that really knows the answer.

I think I'll just park at the TTC and take the boat over, if its running that early.

Are you doing the train tour at the MK? When we booked that tour, we were told to park at the Contemporary. We just told the guard at the shack and he was very accommodating.

It's so early, it's not likely a regular park visitor is going to be trying to park in that lot that early in the morning and then just hang around for hours.

Just call the tours desk back and ask them what's the best choice for you. I would not count on taking the boat. The monorail maybe, if you're really that uncomfortable about the CR, but don't wait on the boat that early. They may wait until it fills up and your tour won't wait on you.

When we took the train tour this past September, we were told to park at the Contemporary. You stop at the guard shack there and tell them and they will direct you to the area in their lot that you can park in. It is right near the sidewalk that goes over to MK.
It took us about 10 minutes to walk over. But we were taking our time.
When we booked our tour, they came right out and told us the parking lot at MK would not be opened that early.
We stayed at MK until about 2 or 3 that afternoon and walked back to Contemporary, jumped in our car and took off.
Enjoy the tour, it is well worth the very early wake up call!

The answer about Contemporary does not surprise me, especially if they give your name to the guard. I would really call and ask, because it sounds like you might be pleasantly surprised by the answer!
