We will be at WDW the end of June/early July

The MS rep said the first rooms showing availability were July 2nd, so I booked July 5 savannah view just to check it out.

Im sure the construction will be going on strong, and she did warn us, but it will be a great way to end our stay

We will be there Aug 12-18th in a 1BR Savannah View

I got the same "construction warnings" but since its only during daylight hours I'm not concerned. One nice thing about AKV is they can't do the 24x7 construction due to the animals, both human and non-human

I tried to book June 13th & 14th, MS said you can book for arrival dates the day of your closing, mine is june 1st. But no rooms were available for my dates, and LIFERBABE is right the first available dates were July2nd with july 4th still available.

It looks like the July phase of AKV will have 7 dedicated studios and 7 2BR lockoffs. I think the breakdown will be:

Savanna View: 3 2BR lockoffs, 4 dedicated studios
Standard (Pool) View: 4 2BR lockoffs, 3 dedicated studios
