Who has the best steak in Disney?

I just had the steak at Mama Melrose in DHS and it was outstanding. I'd order it again. Can't really speak on any others.

Have never been to Shula's, however, our waiter at the Grand Floridian told us that there were 3 butchers on property, and one of them is at the Grand Floridian. I had steak for dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe and it was OUTSTANDING!:thumbsup2

Try the Japanese Wagyu Steak add-on at Victoria and Albert's.

Shula's at the Dolphin.

OK...
IMHO, it would be in this order:
1) Victoria & Albert's [as mentioned above]
2) Shula's [which is not on any DDP, but well-worth the money !]
3) Yachtsman's [best over-all experience]
4) Grand Floridian Cafe' [Super steak with relaxing atmosphere]
5) Le Cellier [steak itself was fantastic, but forget all the "hype"] :wizard:

Maybe not "the best", but believe it or not, Coral Reef at Epcot has a pretty darn good grilled New York strip. Better than the steak I got at Le Cellier. And the ambiance is way cooler.

I have to vote for Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Yum, Yum. The porterhouse melted in my mouth. :cloud9:

The Wagyu steak at Victoria & Alberts is the best piece of meat I've had in my life.

Flying Fish - yes it is mostly fish dishes but their steak is the best on property.

having never been to the ever-popular Shulas, I have had a delicious steak from both the Yachtsman and Le Celier, they both melted in my mouth. I would have to choose LC though, not for the steak but for the soup! I normally avoid eating red meat (i prefer a good piece of chicken 98% of the time lol) but these made me never want to eat anything else in my life--they were that good! I say from all the good choices mentioned above, go check out the menus and see which has the best appetizers/sides/desserts you may be interested. either way, you're in for a delicious piece of meat ;)

Shula's.
Just had the Porterhouse last Tuesday and it was excellent as always!!!

Shy of Victoria & Albert's, which I can't speak to having never been there (although, given the cost and exclusivity, I can't imagine that they serve a bad steak), the best steak on Disney property is at Shula's. There really is no comparison with anything else on property.

If you're on the dining plan, they do not take it there, however.

Shula's is great!! Yachtsman is inconsistant in my opinion, one night will be great, the other will just be okay. if you dont mind going off disney property, 5 minutes away in the Waldorf is the Bull and Bear. It is one of the best steaks i have ever had!!!

Shula's or Yachtsman

Cali Grill and LeCellier are also very good,

Shula's is not on the DDP

Here's an interesting blog:

I've been to Shula's and Capital Grill restaurants...higher end steakhouses, huge portions and higher prices. Obviously, not on the DP and you'd need a car for Capital Grill. There is a Ruth's Chris on Sand Lake Road as well and they are good, too.

Go to 10Best.com -- here's the link: http://www.10best.com/destinations/florida/orlando/restaurants/steakhouses/

Obviously, if you only want on property, your choices are still pretty darn good!

Yes this is the best piece of beef in central florida, never mind Disney...by far! Of course you will pay a premium for the meal, but it is worth it.

Try the Japanese Wagyu Steak add-on at Victoria and Albert's.

Shula's is very good, but I don't find it to be a very Disney experience. It's a chain and they have many locations and even not too far from Ny in Nj, so I skip it. For me the next best it the Yachtsmen. It's not Peter Luger but it's the best Disney Steakhouse and the amsbiensce and service are great. The steaks are good too. i love the filet and my husband sticks to the Ribeye, which he says is the best ribeye op.

Flying Fish and Hollywood Brown Derby both has great steaks.

Here's one for bad steaks: Jiko, California Grill (both great for everything else).

So so: Le Cellier. The risotto with the mushroom filet is great, but the steak itself is just "decent."
