Who has the best Clam Chowder?

If a restaurant has clam chowder, I'll try it. The quality aways varies from place to place. Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's potato soup labeled clam chowder.

Who has the best Clam Chowder at WDW?

More than likely the Cape May Cafe Clam Bake. Second would be Columbia House in MK.

I had the Columbia house clam chowder last week. It wasn't bad, but it definitely had a potato soup base, very thick.

In my opinion Capn Jacks at Downtown Disney has the best Clam Chowder, it's not just a bunch of potatos with a few clams thrown in. We always get the Clam Chowder there and have never been disappointed.

Im from Massachusetts so ive had LOTS of very good chowder and there are 2 places at WDW that I would never get clam chowder EVER again, one is Cape May Cafe and the other is Fulton's both chowders are thin and very over seasoned if you are not from New England than you may like it but it's not true New England Clam Chowder. Columbia harbor house and the ESPN club have 2 of the best clam chowder at WDW.

The chowder at Cape May Clam Bake was great when we were there in January. Really thick, fantastic flavor and tons of clams. I'm really picky about clam chowder, so I was impressed with theirs. Give it a try!!

Well, I grew up in Connecticut and my family still lives there, so I'm right with ya. We plan to have lunch at Columbia Harbor and will be having dinner at Cap'n Jacks - I'll try the Chowder at both

I'm thinking one of the TS restaurants might have a better clam chowder but DH loves it at Columbia Harbour House in the MK! He was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!

Anthony's Hawthorne by the Sea, Swampscott, MA.

So if you can't get there, I'll agree with others who've mentioned Capt. Jack's. DD ordered it and said it was good. High praise from her!!!!

Have to agree that Anthony's is yum.
We have had a nice thick chowder full of clams at both Cape May's and Columbia Harbor House (love the cup of clam chowder with the 1/2 tuna sandwich ).
